11 Chapter 11: Celosian Wolf

Raven's pov.

It all happened so fast, I feel like I just met her a few minutes ago when she saved me from those men and no I'm saving her in return. I groaned as we get closer and closer to the river down below us, "Come on." I said to myself as I let myself fall after Kaida with my hand out for her, Luckily I managed to catch her hand in time, "Gotcha!" I yelled and pulled her to me, covering her in my wings to keep her safe from the impact as we fall into the deep and cold water. I was knocked out for a few seconds when we hit the water and begin to sink in and as I hold my breath, I swam to the surface for air, "Kaida!!!" I yelled for her after catching my breath and looking around for her, she was nowhere to be found. I panicked when I didn't see her, I then inhaled deeply and swam down to check if she was underwater, I looked and looked but I couldn't see much but then I saw a glow behind a huge submerged rock, I swam over hoping it was Kaida and it was!

I hurried to her and shook her a little bit but she was losing air and her wound was still bleeding badly. I whimpered and pulled her to the surface, I let my breath go and dragged her to land, "Come on Kay! Don't go yet, come on!" I said to her as I pant and try my best to get her to wake up. I groaned and whimpered but she still wasn't breathing, "C-Come on now!" I said as I started to tear up and tried to give her some air through CPR and checked her beat...there was nothing. I kept trying to give her air and there it is. She coughed a little bit and spat out some water, "Y-You're okay!" I exclaimed happily. Her wound then started to glow but it wasn't much of a glow then it went in flames and it started to mend itself, I backed away being surprised and stunned, "What the..." I whispered watching it heal as she continued to cough out the water she took in.

Kaida's pov.

I groaned and coughed out the water from the river and held my head, "Eugh...What the hell happened...?" I asked as I lost some memory. "How did I get down here...?" I asked myself and looked around then I see Raven beside me soaked and having some tears in her eyes though I couldn't really tell, "W-Wha...How did you get here...? Where are we? Why are you crying?" I said as I had so many questions about what heck happened from memory loss. I sat up slowly and looked at myself, "Where'd the scar come from...?" I said and looked at Raven, "W-Well you might not like it..." She said to me in a nervous tone. I tilted my head and checked under the bandage on my shoulder if the wound's still there without letting the whole bandage that was also covering my chest, it was gone. I sighed in relief and looked up to the cliff. I frowned seeing the king looking down on us while holding a sword covered in someone's blood.

The king didn't seem like he saw us at all because of the line of trees by the river, "W-What did he use that sword for?" I asked Raven and slowly looked back at her, She looked down and told me, "H-He tried to kill you and pushed you off the cliff..." She shared to me. I widened my eyes at the news. 'How could he do this?', I asked myself, "Why? What did I do wrong to make him want to kill me..." I asked again, "I-I don't know...You just went out of control when he did it." She explained to me. I sighed and tried to remember what exactly happened to me or what caused it, after a while of thinking I remembered just a snap of earlier. I remembered the king ordered to put my Uncle down and hold him harshly. I growled in anger and stood up quickly, "My uncle!!! He needs me!!!" I said and I tried to run back to the water, wanting to do something about it, "No! If you go back then the king or the people will surely cut you off before you even get to see him!" Raven said as she blocked my way, "B-But he might be in trouble!" I said.

Raven then started to drag me out of sight from the people up there, "Then let's find out friends! It'll be much more difficult if both you get caught!" She said. I sighed and looked up and one kid saw me and called for the king, "Sire! Look!" The kid said and I could hear them from my Moon Hound side. The king then walked to the kid and looked down to see me alive and staring him back in the eyes and he scoffed, "She deserves that. I've had enough killing anyway so maybe exile would be enough for that beast or should the I say 'Celocian Wolf'. " He said. I frowned and teared up more, "They've banished me of my home..." I whispered, "And dubbed me as the burning flower, Called me a beast, Hurt my uncle, and Hurt my friends...What more could I get..." I said as I began crying my eyes out.

Raven hugged me and Jason popped out of nowhere, "Hey!" He said with a chipper attitude, "What the! How did you get here? And where the heck did you go off to when everything happened?!" Raven asked Jason when he popped out of nowhere, "This is all that guy's fault..." I whispered to myself and the two shut their mouths, "This is all this thing's fault!!!" I said with the same beastly voice and hit the mark on my arm, "No! Kaida, stop!" Raven exclaimed and held my arm, "Don't do that! There's no more time to feel like this." She told me. I growled and yanked my arm back and stabbed the mark on my arm with a sharp stone, "I-IT'S ALL THIS THING'S FAULT!!!" I yelled in both pain and frustration. I was expecting it would disappear but it started to burn the stone itself and it started to heal again. Raven growled and pushed me down, "Stop. It. Do you think we'll get through this with your whining and B.S?" She asked.

I growled and went silent, "I didn't think so." She said and got off me, "Well how will we do this then? I doubt we'll even survive the night in here." I shared, "You're not even trying so how would you know?" She said. I grunted and got up and walked off, "Well then what's your plan." I asked, She then looked around, "Well we should at least find shelter for the night then maybe we can head off tomorrow?" She suggested. I nodded and covered my body from Jason, "Uh...Do any of you have an extra shirt?" I asked my friends, Ignatius appeared and handed me a bag with my clothes and things needed such as money, some food enough for days, and bandages just in case. I smiled, "Oh hey! You're okay. Thanks, little dude." I said and thanked him. As we began walking, It got colder through the night. I frowned, "We should set camp for the night..." I said and sat on a log. Jason nodded and got some twigs, dead leaves, and some logs for our fire and Raven began to set our makeshift camp up for the night. Meanwhile, I sigh and walk off.

Raven's pov.

I dust off my hands making a small hut for the 3 of us, well including the small dragon we have along, "This should do." I said to myself. I smiled at my accomplishment and looked over at Kaida. She seemed very down for a very chipper teen well considering what happened these past few days. I tilt my head and get up to see where she was heading to. I follow her silently, She was heading over to the nearby lake maybe to fish or just take a breather, I hid behind a big tree and just watched just in case, "I hope she's okay..." I said to myself. I tilted my head and silently sat down behind the tree and yawned then looked again and the next thing I know is...She was taking her clothes off, I winded my eyes at the scene my eyes faced, "O-Oh my gods!!!" I exclaimed in my head and slumped back to the ground behind the tree covering my mouth while my whole face was red, "S-She...I-I...I saw her naked just now..." I said to myself again and just froze in my spot as she takes a dip in the lake.

Kaida's pov.

I sighed and poked the water with my foot, It was a little cold but it was okay. I walked in to take a relaxing dip after all the events that happened. I sighed and looked at the shiny reflection of the bright moon on the surface of the water, "What did I do wrong...?" I asked nothing silently as I look up to the moon, "Mom, Dad...What did I do wrong...?" I whispered while tearing up. I couldn't bear to handle what just happened to me...to my friends, "Hurt by the king I thought would protect all of us, pointed out just by being different, exiled...what more suffering can you bring..." I said to the fire mark on my arm, "What more pain can you cause me..." I said in my head.
