Chapter 19 because I like you

This was it. The moment I've been waiting for. The moment of truth. The words I've been unconsciously been demanding for.

Jimin slowly kisses in between each saying. "How much I want you. How much I need you. How much I lo..." Jungkook stops- mid sentence.

I panic. Why did he stop? In mid-sentence too! I frantically look around and see if something was there that made him stop. Nothing, just an empty hallway. I turned back to him, with a frightened face.

Jungkook face was crimson red. I've never seen a face as red as his. His eyes were sparkling and his breathing was rapid. He was just staring at me. Intensely.

"why did you stop..?" I asked dazed and confused. Jungkook backed off of me, simultaneously letting my hands free. As if it was possible, I could feel a breeze between us.

I reached out and found his arms, guiding them back down to my waist. Realizing what I had done, I let go, flustered. My body was acting on its own. It was as if Jungkook was in control of me, my body and mind was completely his.

jungkook smirked and laughed. Blatantly. I was hurt. He knew that he was in control of me. He knew that I wanted him to finish his sentence. He knew that I would try to close the space between us. He knew how I felt.

"You never learn, do you?" Jungkook mutters under his breath.

"What do I never learn?!" I shouted.

Jungkook leaned down and kissed me on the lips.

"Did you just kiss me?" I asked dumbfounded and shocked.

jungkook bit his lip and nodded his head a little. "Of course I did!" He said proudly.

"Why..?" I couldn't accept the reality.

jungkook kissed me again and smiled sweetly. "Because I like you!"

jungkook kissed the tip of my nose.

My face was in major derp mode. My body couldn't move, not because of his body weight sitting on top of me, but because I was shocked.

jungkook just smiled. He shifted around and went to sit next to me but I stopped him.

"Where are you going?!" Clutching his shirt so he wouldn't move.

jungkook laughed. "Does my wittle jimin not want me to leave?" He says in a baby voice.

My jaw dropped and shoved him off me. "You can leave."

"Fine." Jungkook pouted. Jimin straightened up and brushed his clothes off. He stomped his foot, like a child and started to walk away.

"Wait!" I pleaded. "Can you help me?" I whispered pathetically.

Jungkook stopped and turned around. "What's the magic word?" He stuck his tongue out.

I let out a deep breath. I began to batt my eyes and pout my lips. "Pweeesssseeee?" All cutesy.

jungkook let out a heavy breath. "I can never win with you, can I?"

He walked back over to me and bent over. "Get on." He pointed to his back.

"You want me to get on your back?" I asked curiously.

"No, I want to play leapfrog. Yes, I want you to get on my back." He says sarcastically.

Embarrassed, I touch his shoulders. I shift all my weight onto his back. jungkook grabs my thighs and holds me tight. I wrap my arms around his neck and pray that he won't drop me.
