 Eva's lone item of clothing during her escape from Black's villa was a suspender skirt that Ervin Black had thrown to her.

She quickly wrapped it over her body and dashed out the door, without even bothering to put on her underpants.

The June evening was cloudy and miserable. She unconsciously embraced herself to become a little bit warmer, but all she felt was an assault on her heart of desolation.

However, she is terrified of seeing Carvin Levis, which prevents her from going home.

Her primary concern is that Ervin Black and Jerry Hunter will get into some kind of altercation with her father.
