7 Shawn Isn't Bad

Next week All Stars Academy is said to be opened up again after finding out the culprit of the fifteen students found dead in the changing room. "The coach was the killer all along" Detective Ricardo stated.

Cj disagreed saying "They just said that because they can't find any other leads. Their other suspect Xavier is dead and no one can find where that green headed girl went. All Stars is a very powerful school. They can't be permanently banned so easily. I am thinking of transferring to that school".

Ricardo patted Cj on the head and smiled. "With your grades it should be easy. Let's get to it then" Ricardo said.

Four days later Shawna's mother complained about why Shawna hasn't been going to school ever since it opened up. Shawna eventually gave into her mother's quarrel and went to school on that day. When Shawna arrived in her classroom the first thing she noticed was the significant decrease in number of her classmate. "Most of the boys were a part of the soccer team. Wonder how everyone's taking it" Shawna wondered to herself. It didn't take long for one of Shawna's bullies to confront her. Kevin sat beside her and sighed. "Hey Shawna! How are you feeling?" Kevin asked loudly. Shawna nodded yes in reply.

"Good, I forgot my lunch money today. You've been avoiding school for a while now so I hope you carried something of value. Something other than your disgusting body, Xavier isn't here to praise it anymore" Kevin said wrapping his arms around Shawna. Shawna instinctively shivered at Kevin's touch. Tears almost formed as she remembered her pathetic life. "Kevin! How is it you're not dead yet" Shawna cried.

Kevin elbowed Shawna in the face and took her money by force. "Welcome back to school loser" Kevin teased. He left Shawn in pain and sorrow and as usual her classmates ignored it. Just moments later a new transfer student entered the classroom only to hear a girl crying at the back. He looked over at Shawna and gave her a pitiful look. "WEAK!" the boy shouted for everyone to hear. The entire class looked at the transfer student and celebrated. "Cj! Welcome bro" said one boy.

"I'm glad you're here" said another.

Shawna turned her face away from him and continued her groveling. "This is why I didn't want to come to school. I can't change with these people. It's either I kill them or I leave them. I'm going to try once again to convince my parents" Shawna thought seriously. Cj sat beside Shawna and greeted "Morning, I'll be sitting here from now on".

"Yippee, everyone already knows you despite being a new student" Shawna frowned.

"Of course, I came here multiple times in the past didn't i?" Cj responded.

One of the girls in class saw Shawna frowned so she immediately kicked over her desk. "Cj you don't have to sit next to this one you know. There aren't many boys in our class anymore. Come sit next to me" she said strongly.

Cj stood up and picked up Shawna's desk. "That's not nice Abigail. Leave her be and I rather stay at the back" Cj replied politely. "Hehehe this is my life" Shawna sighed.

"Everyone is awful these days huh" Cj said knowingly.

Shawna nodded and said "Yeah they are. You are too, always calling me weak".

"Cuz you are weak. The strong has all the rights. The weak has to take everything the strong says and abide by them like idiots. It's nature at work. The strong panther eats the weak goose" Cj said softly.

"The reality is that the weak gets no respect. Why do you think your classmates don't help you? No one respects someone who behaves lower than them. If you hate it when I call you weak I will stop but that won't change my perception of you. Your actions might" Cj said pinching Shawna's cheek.

"Ow! I just got elbowed there" Shawna complained.

During English class the teacher told everyone to pair up. There were an odd number of students so someone had to be the odd one out. Cj waited for almost five minutes to hear if Shawna would want to pair up. During that time Shawna was thinking to herself.

"I want to pair up with Cj. Is that okay? I bet the others want to pair with him too though. I can't anger the others" Shawna thought worriedly.

"Cj aren't you going to ask me?" Shawna wondered.

Cj got up and looked at Shawna disappointedly. "Your actions Shawna, remember" he said before walking over to another classmate. "My actions? You wouldn't want to know about that you prick. I have the power to end you!"

Shawna ended up being the odd one out and wasn't able to participate in the class activities. When school was over Shawna followed Cj to his house secretively without anyone spotting her. She keeps her invisible sheet inside her school bag just in case she needs to mask her presence. Cj didn't take the bus home or a car. He simply walked for thirty minutes with plenty of twist and turns on the way. "I would've just taken the bus honestly" Shawna said getting tired. Cj finally stopped in front of a yellow two story building with the sign R.A library. Cj entered the library after making a large sigh. Shawna entered the second Cj opened the door to avoid having to open it herself. Cj slowly walked upstairs to the adult section where he met up with his new friend Shawn.

"Instead of heading home he decided to meet up with that jack-ass I'm going to kill" Shawna thought angrily. She stood behind Shawn with a dagger in hand. "Depending on what they're saying he dies today" She said forcefully.

Shawna waved at Cj "Yow, you're here early".

"You know I'm late, stop the crap" Cj replied.

"How was All Stars Academy?" Shawn asked. "Sucked honestly, for a school full of rich kids they seem to bully people for their money more than they should and plus it is forbidden to talk about the incident two months ago so it feels like I wasted my time transferring schools" Cj said upsettingly. "Are you in the same class as Shawna?" Shawn asked curiously. Cj nodded yes in reply. Shawna readied her knife at Shawn's neck waiting for what he had to say. She wasn't at school anymore so her bloodlust became more apparent. Shawn felt a chill down his spine and stood up. Shawna stayed behind him and moved her dagger.

"Shawn is a cute girl isn't she. I bet she has a ton of friends" Shawn laughed. Shawna took Shawn's words as a bad joke. "Triggered"

"Nah, she's a lost cause. She's too weak and gets no respect from her pairs. She got elbowed by a dude this morning" Cj replied.

"Oh that's unfortunate. Have you done something about it?" Shawn asked.

"No, I don't protect the weak. I hate them" Cj sighed.

"Have you ever heard of revenge? What if she becomes a monster? Should she apologize for becoming one?" Shawn asked. "Is something wrong with trying to help someone in need? From her eyes alone I feel like she's on the border of doing something grave. People are blind to see" Shawna removed the dagger from around Shawn's neck and touched her sheet. "He can't see or hear me. He understands! He actually understands! Shawn understands!" Shawna screamed out loud. She screamed so loud her throat dried up. "Revenge? That weak girl would never attempt revenge. I am certain of that" Cj said seriously.

"She will either die a miserable death somewhere no one will know her or improve on her life style a bit and still die" Cj groaned. Shawn did not take a liking to what Cj said. "I can tell you have little respect for the girl. CJ!" Shawn shouted. He took out his phone and showed Cj a video for him to play.

Cj played the video and saw that it was a man and a woman beating up her a little boy. Stomping on his stomach, punching him, kicking him and slapping him in the face all while hearing the laughter from the camera man and the cries from the boy. Cj didn't bother to finish the video. He pause it and handed it back to Shawn. "Why did you show me that?" Cj complained. He did not feel well after watching such brutality.

"Who do you hate the most?" Shawn asked curiously.

"I'd say the mother, every hit she landed on the boy was to the face" Cj said uncomfortable. "Really, I would hate the camera man more. He was enjoying every bit of what he was recording wasn't he? Cj, hating on the weak makes you a jerk to society. NO one will respect you either if you continue like that" Shawn stated.

"Everyone looks up to those who help and protect the weak. Why would you do the opposite? Them getting under your skin might be a sign that you're weak" Shawn said harshly. Cj stood up and the two boys glared at each other menacingly. Shawna who was spectating the two found Shawn to be impressive. His words sound like medicine in her ears. "Yeah tell him" Shawna smiled. She almost felt like taking her sheet off and giving Shawn a big hug.

"He's a cool dude" Shawna laughed.

Cj covered his face with his right hand and breathed heavily. "Man your words cut deep. Hating on the weak is wrong now that I think of it hmmm. I thought I was doing them a solid by reminding them how weak they are. I am the idiot here. Shawn you are a prick" Cj said annoyed.

"Remember that everyone should be able to stand up for themselves in the end. Waiting for help that might never come is stupid no matter how you look at it and that's what she's doing" Cj said. He left the library after that taking what Shawn had to say in consideration. Shawna on the other hand thought back to what she said five days ago. "Shawn is different. He regrets his actions for what he has done and in the end he regained his friendship with Terry even though it killed him. Terry made the choice to race him that morning I shouldn't take it out on him. It's official you get to live" Shawna said. Unlike Xavier and the soccer team Shawna never had intense rage for Shawn. He never gave off that look of evil like the others.

Shawna went to her house and her mother asked how school went. "It was terrible" Shawna replied. Her mother sighed and said "When your dad gets home we'll talk about it. Ethan is very worried about you".

"So what about you mom?" Shawna thought to herself.

The next day at school when Kevin was about to take Shawna's money Cj stepped in to help her. "Hey! If you like your hands you better keep them away from Shawna. Leave her alone" Cj blurted for the class to hear. When they all saw that he defended Shawna his respect has fallen through the roof. "Cj, are you kidding me? This is Shawna we're talking about. It's no big deal if I take her money" Kevin stated. Cj head-butted Kevin and shouted at both him and Shawna. "Shawna wake up to reality. This is happen every day and the rest of your life if you don't make a stand. Fight or something! Kevin and as for the rest of the bullies, go to hell!" He shouted.
