15 Outside The Cell

Kuzen carried Shawna to the cabin she will be staying. Kuzen made sure Shawna was assigned a roommate who wasn't far from her age. "Trisha Miles, 23 years old. She is new here just like you. Be good friends if her if possible" Kuzen advised Shawna.

Shawna entered her room and saw two beds next to each other. The bed was different from the one in prison. It looked soft and comfy and was covered with clean sheet. "Home" Shawna smiled. Her new roommate was occupying one of the beds sleeping soundly. Shawna was taken in by Trisha's long black hair. "Why is it so long? She should cut it" Shawna thought to herself. Shawna walked up to her and touched hair. "Hmm, I wish I had a scissor with me" Shawna sighed.

Hours later Trisha woke up surprised to see Shawna holding her hair. "Excuse me, who are you?" Trisha asked curiously.

"Your new roommate. Didn't you get the memo? The name is Shawna Matar" Shawna introduced. Once Trisha heard Shawna's name she slapped Shawna's hand. Shawna let go of her hair confused. "What did I do?" Shawna asked.

"You're the one that murdered fifteen students and went on to murder the Cruez's Path CEO and his son" Trisha said disgusted.

"Those tainted hands shouldn't come near me" Trisha said strongly.

The two looked at each other for over a minute before Trisha started laughing. Shawna herself joined the fun and laughed along with her. "Come on I'm joking here. This is hell we're at. A place full of sinners hehehehe. Why would I discriminate you for that" Trisha joked. Shawna giggled at her response.

"Yeah, that joke sucks though" Shawna stated. The two roommates got acquainted with each other rather quickly. Shawna explained how she wound up in Fuji Mountain and Trisha did the same. "I stole a chunk load of cash from some rich guy in my neighborhood. I got caught but whatever. I didn't regret what I did" Trisha said casually.

"Why did you steal?" Shawna asked.

"Easy, I stole because I didn't have what I want. When your options are limited it's natural to steal. I wished I hadn't got caught. I'd be living large right now hehehe" Trisha laughed. Shawna didn't laugh along with her this time. "How many years did you get?" Shawna asked.

"Five" Trisha replied.

"Going back to stealing after this?" Shawna asked.

"Maybe, I don't know. Depends if I don't get a job" Trisha answered honestly. The rest of the day Kuzen left the two roommates to enjoy themselves. The next day however they were sent along with other prisoners early in the morning to clean panda poo up in the mountains. If the poo isn't clean the other bears will get agitated and leave their turf for a bit and that might cause trouble. Unlike other bears the pandas for some reason doesn't clean up after themselves. No matter how much training they received.

"Whew, this is the new chapter of my life here"

Kuzen interrupted Shawna's work and called on to her and Trisha. "You two go check out the forest. There might be some new bodies there that haven't been discovered yet. Every day there seems to be an idiot who think they can escape this place"

"Okay"

They stopped what they were doing and searched the entire forest by themselves. The forest was so large it took the entire day just to find four bodies in total. Shawna found one while Trisha found three. "Now what do we do with them" Shawna wondered.

"We bury them, follow me" Trisha said exhausted. Shawna followed Trisha to the burial site where many people are buried and forgotten. While they were burying the discovered bodies Shawna noticed the uneasiness on Trisha's face. She was sweating drastically and her breathing was heavy.

"What's wrong?" Shawna asked.

"Burying dead people isn't easy as you make it seems Shawna" Trisha said exhausted.

"Hmm, maybe it's because I've killed before and you haven't" Shawna said out loud.

"Weren't the bodies supposed to explode? Why are these corpses intact? Shawna asked.

"Other prisoners must have murdered them in secret. You get punished for killing people in prison. They add more years to your sentence but it doesn't mean anything to those who are sentenced here for life" Trisha sighed. "That's messed up" Shawna added. Kuzen found them at the burial site and clapped. "Four whole body. This looks like a murder. Shawna could you find out who did this?" Kuzen asked kindly.

"What makes you think I'm capable of doing that? It could be anyone" Shawna said annoyed.

"Come on, I heard what you did. You killed Xavier in a public bathroom and even tortured him and didn't get caught. The CEO is still missing after all these years too. I know you are capable of sneaking around" Kuzen smiled.

"He wants me to use my gift so badly. I can feel it"

Shawna agreed and said "I'll try". After Kuzen left Trisha fell on the ground harshly. She became unconscious from the lack of food. "We haven't eaten anything today. This is rough" Shawna complained. Shawna had to finish the digging by herself then buried the bodies. When she was finished she wished she was with the others.

"I bet everyone else ate dinner already" Shawna thought to herself. She hurriedly dragged Trisha to her room and asked around where dinner is served. A random prisoner laughed and responded "No food today sorry missy. I ate yours and your roommate's share hahaha"

Shawna asked for the prisoner's name. "Call me Chilly, think of me as the daddy for everyone here. I'll take what I want whenever I want okay sweetie" the prisoner said going in for a kiss. Shawna stepped away and bowed "Sorry, I have to go"

Shawna went to Kuzen's tree house and complained about what happened. "Some big prisoner named Chilly ate my food. Can I get some more" Shawna asked.

"Sorry, everything is finished for the day. It's your fault for finishing your work so late. You two took the whole day just to find the four bodies in the forest" said Kuzen.

"We were doing fine cleaning after pandas. Why did you change our work?" Shawna asked.

"To improve your speed, efficiency, sight etc." Kuzen grinned. Shawna angrily went back to her cabin where her roommate was dead a sleep. Shawna's stomach started growling so she found it better to go to bed early as well.

Three weeks later the same thing kept on repeating over and over. Shawna and Trisha tried complaining about it but Kuzen or the soldiers never listened. Shawna and Trisha quickly got accustomed to breakfast alone since Chilly kept on eating their share of dinner. Kuzen kept on giving Shawna and Trisha the task of patrolling the forest so they are always late for dinner.

Shawna has had enough of Chilly's selfish behavior. "I must act now, if I hold in my emotions any longer the action I might take then would be murder" Shawna sighed.

"Hmmmm, your feelings towards that person was bobbling up inside for so long. I hope you learn something from this. If you feel uncomfortable or upset about something just say it from the beginning. You will live so much better and more free that way trust me, plus it prevents things murder or mass harm from happening". Shawna remembered what her friend Shawn has told her and decided to break the cycle. "If I don't do something sooner than later I will lose. I won't experience having dinner" Shawna frowned. Trisha was inspired by Shawna's words and agreed with her.

This evening Shawna and Trisha stopped patrolling the forest mid-way. They know the trouble they will be in if a body is out there and they didn't bury but they didn't care. They headed to the cafeteria where food was served and they saw plates with their names on them. Trisha ran towards them and picked up hers and Shawna's plates.

"After seeing this I don't care for it anymore. It doesn't taste great" Trisha laughed.

"It's still important to full your stomach. So eat" Shawna advised. Chilly walked up to them upset and had a piece of wood in her hands. "Who do you think you are dealing with?! I AM CHILLY! YOU KNOW THOSE ARE MY PLATES!" Chilly shouted.

"What's so special about this food? They don't taste great so if you want other people's share you must be very greedy" Trisha said. Shawna high fived her and stood up. Shawna held on to Chilly's face and WHAM! WHAM! WHAM! WHAM!

Slammed her face four times on the ground harshly. "This must be my favorite fighting move" Shawna thought. Everyone looked at Shawna either shocked, happy or disappointed. "Don't trouble my food again please. You wouldn't want to know what I'd do to you" Shawna threatened. Chilly stood up and wiped the dust off her face. "Hmmm, you two obviously don't know about me. Two bodies will be found tomorrow and they will be yours" Chilly laughed as she walked away.
