13 Cj and Ethan

A week has passed since Shawna was sent to prison. Cj and Shawn haven't talked since then and Cj once again changed schools. Cj was confronted by Shawna's little brother one morning. He was furious and depressed at the same time. Ethan argued "You and Shawna went to a concert the night before she was arrested. You two must have been friends for her to go with you. EXPLAIN WHY YOU WOULD CALL THE POLICE ON HER!"

Cj let Ethan inside his house and gave him a bottle of water. Ethan's eyes were dried red and his face looked terrible. As if he got into a fight recently. Cj answered Ethan "Your sister committed a crime. She killed an entire soccer team and the CEO of Cruez's Path. How can I not turn her in?"

Ethan nodded in disagreement. "No, there should be a difference here. As far as I know those people made her life hell. You could have understood her situation and helped her. Not arrest her" Ethan said with a frown.

"Revenge! She got her revenge and now she's arrested. You know what I don't understand about criminals these days. They were brought up in this world learning what is right or wrong. So when you are at certain age and do wrong things you have no excuse if you ask me. She knows killing is bad but yet she still did it. Your sister's a murderer" Cj said looking Ethan straight in the eye. Ethan lowered his head knowing what Cj said was correct. "Cj is your name. She gave you a call that morning because she was worried about you for some reason. You picked that morning of all mornings to arrest her. You do know she'll think you betrayed her right" Ethan said.

Cj scratched his head and couldn't reply to Ethan. He began mumbling to himself of how he could have helped her instead of arresting her. Ethan slightly heard what he said but he could tell what he was mumbling was the exact opposite of what he was just saying. "I know what you mean. She's only have one friend and he's now decease. She finally made two more and now one of them betrayed her. If I were in her shoes I'd hate that person with all my being" Cj admitted.

"It is too late now. I don't know why I came here honestly. There's nothing you can do about this" Ethan sighed.

"Ethan how old are you?" Cj asked curiously.

"14 June coming" Ethan replied.

"Your sister made a whole lot of mistakes in her life that brought her here. Don't make those same mistakes because society will only see you as a menace that needs cleansing" Cj said bluntly.

Ricardo barged inside Cj's home unannounced and shouted "Hey Cj, I got the new Game Console that I ordered online last month. What do you wanna play?!"

Ricardo happily ran into the living room and was surprised to see Shawna's brother there. "Good morning young lad. What brings you here?" Ricardo asked surprised. Ricardo's smile made Ethan's blood boil. He stood up and was about to leave the house. Cj stopped him and said "Hey, don't go yet. I wanted to ask you about your face. What happened?"

Ethan rubbed his right cheek and said "Family matters. Ever since Shawna left things haven't been the same. My mom and my dad have been fighting over me constantly. My father doesn't want my potential to be wasted with my mother and my mother is worried for me because dad doesn't show affection and love".

"Ah, I forgot that your parents got a divorce right after Shawna's arrest. That sucks" Ricardo said.

Ethan ignored him and told Cj "its fine now. I'm living with my father now". "Cool, sorry for your loss Ethan. I did what I had to do. It's what I was taught" Cj stated. "By me" Ricardo cheered behind Cj. Ricardo wrapped his arms around Ethan and smirked. "Are you upset that your sister is arrested? You should be grateful she isn't dead like those she's killed. Ask me what the victim's parents are doing right now" Ricardo said.

"Come on Ask me, I insist" Ricardo urged Ethan.

"What are the victim's parents doing?" Ethan asked provoked. Ricardo cleared his throat and opened a small notepad that he had in his back pocket. "Ah so let's start with George parent's. The mother committed suicide terrified at the thought of losing her only son and have to bury him. The father is now left alone in solitude and sorrow. Froy's parents are devastated by their loss. Their son had so much potential in their eyes. They were even saving up money to bring him overseas to further Froy's career as a soccer player. Guess what they are doing now?" Ricardo asked.

Ethan didn't feel like answering. His heart wasn't in the right place. "Froy's parents used that same money to bury the child. Thomas's father quit his job and started drinking. He quickly became a madman and suddenly disappeared. No one knows where he is. You know where I'm going with this right?"

"You may think Shawna was right to do what she did because of revenge or whatever but look at the damage it caused. Can you really call what your sister did well after hearing what I just said? Your sister killed Froy; she killed George and so many more. Hehehehehe stop thinking about your sister and move on" Ricardo said pinching Ethan's cheek.

"Ricardo you are so unnecessary sometimes. Don't take what he says the wrong way. He's not telling you to hate your sister. He's saying you shouldn't treat her like her hands aren't tainted" Cj said annoyed.

Ricardo laughed it off and went to open his new game console. Ethan stood there speechless. He never considered how others have been affected by his sister's actions. "Jeez, this stinks" Ethan said going on his knees. Before he knows it he started crying for the failure he and his family was. "Yep, we are to blame most of all. Not you, Ricardo or those bullies. For years I have heard my sister begging for a transfer and no one has ever taken it into consideration. My father couldn't care what happens to Shawna and mom was always focused on me most of the time. Shawna hasn't even seen her real dad since she was 6. Her family failed her" Ethan thought to himself.

"WAAAAAAAAAAAAH! WAAAAAAAAAH!"

Ethan cried so loud Ricardo entered the room again and started cheering the little boy up. "Hey, I have some racing games. Wanna play" Ricardo suggested. Ethan held back his tears and looked at Ricardo upsettingly. He turned his face away from him and sighed "Yes". When Ethan calmed down him and Ricardo played games on the newly bought console while Cj spectated.

"I'm going to visit her whenever I can" Cj said sure of himself. He knows what he did wasn't wrong but he still can't ignore the pain he feels from arresting Shawna. "I only knew you for a short while yeah"
