"Shawna!"

"Shawna Get UP!"

"Yes mother" the girl said yawning in her bed. She got up and headed straight to the bathroom where her mother was calling her. As soon as she opened the door a broom stick greeted the girl right to her face almost gouging out her eye. "You have work to do before you go to school today. Get to it" the mother ordered.

Shawna took the broom and asked her mother "Is it alright if I can skip school today? Please". Her mother became enraged and started pulling her hair as if she wanted her to go bald. She ignored her daughter's scream and continued to drag her hair until Shawn apologized. "I'm sorry mother; I shouldn't have asked something so stupid!" Shawna cried out loud. Her mother finally let go of her and sighed.

"A disappointment like you has no choice but to go to school. Once you become like your brother maybe I will allow it" Shawna's mother said harshly. She left her daughter in the bathroom heartbroken. Shawna cried as she swept inside the bathroom and then in the hall way. While she was sweeping her little brother greeted her. "Good morning Shawna" he greeted.

"Morning Ethan, how are you doing?" Shawna asked.

"Better than you, I heard your scream from downstairs. You are so pathetic! I wish you could stand up to mom" said Ethan.

Shawna lowered her head and giggled "That's not possible for someone like me. We're totally different Ethan. You are a prodigy blessed in our family while I am just a mistake. I am lucky to even be here"

Ethan glared at his dumb sister thinking that there's nothing to laugh about. "Whatever, at least stand up to the bullies at school. They don't own you" Ethan said walking away. When Shawna finished sweeping the entire house it was time for her to get ready for school. While she was putting on her uniform she heard her phone started ringing.

It was an unknown number so she ignored it and continued to get dressed. After packing Shawna left the house without saying anything to her parents. She took the bus to school and arrived just in time before the bell rang. If she had arrived a minute later the security wouldn't have let her in. The Great All Stars Academy does not tolerate tardiness of any kind. A prestigious school such as All Star wouldn't hesitate to suspend a student just for being late.

Before Shawna entered her classroom she inhaled deeply and exhaled trying to calm her nerves. School has never been kind to poor Shawna. Getting bullied day after day, constantly being reminded that she's a dumb slut. Shawna entered the classroom nervous to who was already in it. When she took her seat three boys surrounded her with grin on their faces.

"Ray, Kevin, Froy. I really want to break your hands" Shawna thought to herself. Shawna failed to hide her angry expression so Ray punched her nose. "Don't give me that look! You know what we came here for! Hand it over Retard!" Ray shouted startling Shawna into submission. She began shivering as she went into her pocket and handed the three boys her wallet. When they peaked inside the grin on their faces were priceless. They happily threw Shawna her ID and kept her wallet for themselves. Everyone else in the classroom watched as this happened and had no intent of helping Shawna.

In their minds she is a lost cause. A waste of space at All Stars Academy and should just disappear. Everyone with no exception saw her as a nuisance except for the teachers of course. When lunch break arrived Shawna went to the cafeteria and bought a hot dog using money she hid on her in advance. When one of the bullies saw her in the act he immediately charged at her.

"Noooooo!" Shawna screamed as Kevin shook her down for more money. Once he saw she had nothing more to give he quickly left the area with everyone laughing at Shawna's sudden scream. "Why is this my life?" Shawna wondered to herself. She left the cafeteria embarrassed and ashamed of herself. Heading back to her classroom she saw an unfamiliar boy sitting in her chair talking to one of her classmate. Shawna didn't know who it was so she didn't know what to do.

"Should I ask him?"

"What if he says something mean?"

"I can't take this anymore" Shawna cried in her mind.

The boy noticed Shawna staring at him so he asked "Is there a problem miss? Is this your seat?"

She nodded in reply hoping he would get up. The boy stood up and walked up to Shawna. "Why is it you look like such a mess? Did someone beat you up?" the boy asked. Shawna's classmate tapped the boy on his shoulders and introduced "Shawna this is Cj, Cj this is Shawna".

The moment the boy heard Shawna's name he immediately knew everything about her. "You are the victim of All Stars! Why don't you just leave this place?!" Cj asked upsettingly. His tone of voice changed drastically once he learned who he was talking to. Shawna stuttered giving a reply. "My m-mother wants me here" Shawna replied nervously. Cj pinched Shawna's shoulders and glared.

"Because you aren't as smart as the others at school everyone looks down on you. You eventually succumbed to them and started looking down on yourself as well. WEAK! More than anything I hate weakness! Get a hold of yourself before it's too late. I know you can do it!" Cj said leaving the classroom.

To Shawna the only thing she heard from Cj just now was the word WEAK. "I know I am WEAK. That's what everyone been calling me for years. Boy wouldn't I like to change that" Shawna sighed to herself. "At least I have him" Shawn said remembering her boyfriend. Shawna's life has been a living hell in recent years but there is one good thing about it.

"Terry I can't wait to see you today" Shawna smiled at the thought.

When school was finally over Shawna wasted no time heading to All Stars Hospital that was across the street from All Stars Academy. She wanted to see her one and only friend reading a book like he always does. Shawna went upstairs on the third floor where Terry's room is located. When she opened the door to Terry's room he was no-where to be seen. "That's weird, he's always here" Shawna said confused.

A doctor who was passing by told Shawna the horrific news. That her boyfriend, her only friend is now deceased. "His death was unexpected. We thought he survived the surgery without any repercussions but our assessment was wrong. His heart suddenly stopped without warning" the doctor said depressingly.

When Shawna heard the doctor's words it felt like time stop for her. Everything the doctor said was blank to her after that. "Terry is deceased? As in dead!"

"Why? That's not fair! If he's dead then what am I doing here?!" Shawna screamed inside her head. Shawna broke down on the floor and cried uncontrollably.

"Terry! Damn it Terry Why!"

"Why did you leave me?!"

"With these horrible creatures!"

The doctor tried cheering Shawna up but it was useless. She cried for what felt like an eternity. She cried herself to sleep and the doctor had no choice but to give her a room to rest. Two hours of sleeping Shawna woke up in a hospital bed.

"So he really is gone" Shawna said starting to cry again. She gave his death some thought and realized something important. "Since he's gone who else do I have to smile with? Definitely not my mother, I can tell she hates me ever since she married that scientist guy and birth Ethan. My real father and my step father think of me as a mistake and my brother's a jerk. Xavier's always touching me and I am always being bullied by boys and girls alike" Shawna admitted.

Shawna admits that her life and her ways suck. "There's no changing it I guess" She convinced herself. She opened a drawer to see a rope inside. "What are the odds? Hehehehehe" She giggled. She tied one end of the rope up to the ceiling then tied her neck around with the other end. She moved the bed closer so she could jump off and hang herself. "Heehehehehe, this is so stupid I know" She laughed to herself.

Just moments before she jumped she heard a clap.

"CLAP"

Shawna opened her eyes and saw a figure in front of her. She adjusted her eyes to who it was and the longer she looked the more frightened she became. "The same blonde hair, black eyes, same clothes, chin, curve. You are me" Shawna said shockingly.

The person before Shawna nodded in disagreement. "No I don't like that name. Well yes technically I am you. Just call me THE ONE okay" the figure smiled.

Shawna was dumbfounded by her words. "You and I are not twins. You are called THE ONE?! What are you really?!" Shawna asked getting scared. "What are you getting scared of? You were just about to kill yourself" The One grinned.

"What do you want?" Shawna asked holding on to her rope.

"I don't want you to die obviously. I came here to save you" The One replied.

"Stopping me from suicide is not saving me" Shawna said strongly.

"Yes, yes I know that already. I am going to save you. Your life is about to change drastically if you accept my gift" The One stated. Shawna removed the rope and asked what The One meant by gift.

"As far as I see it your life, personality and communication stinks. I want to help you fix that you see. I will give you the gift to turn whatever you touch invisible for no limited amount of time. What do you say? Imagine what you could do with a gift like that" The One said temptingly. Normally Shawna wouldn't believe such a statement but something about The One felt supernatural all on his own. "You would really give me a gift like that" Shawna said surprised.

"Yes, with that gift I bet you could pay everyone back for your suffering. Your parents for neglecting you, Xavier for violating you time after time, Shawn for hospitalizing your boyfriend and let's not forget those bullies in your class. Not just them, society itself has given you grief" The One said harshly. Shawna lowered her heard knowing everything she heard was the truth. "If I get that gift I could get revenge couldn't I?"

"Hehe" Shawna smiled and accepted the gift from The One. "I can't believe it! At long last I can finally make a change. Finally! This is my time for Revenge!" Shawna shouted. The One nodded in agreement and said "The next time you wake up you will be able to do something no one could ever dream of. See ya around".
