It had been four days since the uniting of the tribes. During that time, Key had already sent the group of former leaders on their way with the instructions on how they should go about developing a way to transfer ambition force to others.

The task was not easy nor simple to achieve. The four-star Adapter level only allowed one to use their ambition force outside of their body. It did not give them benefits to move other ambition forces besides their own.

But Key didn't see it this way. Since the body could adapt to changes, what he wanted to do was force their bodies to adapt at using other ambition forces that no longer had wills attached to them to control and move it around.

As for the test subjects that were going to be used to see their results, it was the animals inside the Evolver World. They would kill an animal and then use the residue ambition force to practice with while trying to help evolve a weak animal.

To save time, he didn't have the former leaders hunt for the animals. Instead, he gave the tasks of capturing and hunting to Black and Donn. He told them to gather all the Adapters at three-star and lower, and divide them among the two.

Black with his second in command being Zeke who was another student, was to take his group to capture weak animals and search for more evolved plants like fruits or herbs.

Donn, on the other hand, was to take his group and Ford to kill the animals needed while bringing back the bodies and tree wood.

After assigning them the tasks, there was some debate whether it was wise to have Zeke follow along since he wasn't even a one-star Adapter. Key answered that it was better to keep their group in charge and with backup since the others were still unknown.

He farther explained that Zeke lacked the ability to help with the building, so it was better to make use of his muscles by becoming a stronger Adapter. The reason he didn't choose Zeke earlier when they went was that Zeke happened to be one of the slower students to pass the Divine Door's test.

Through all this, he did not intend to waste the killed animals. Instead, he had the best tailors in making garments to use the skin and try to form better clothes that would protect them from cold temperatures.

Of course, he didn't use the people that were helping Shaw to build more houses. He didn't have any intentions to slow that process down because many people were sleeping outside on the ground and he wasn't sure that they were used to being above the surface.

Then was the wood being supplied and the bones that were leftover. Not having anybody to take charge of the process he wanted the bones used for, he let Steele run the operations since Skyla was his aide and Chelsie was acting as Shaw's.

What he intended for the wood and bones was to start making weapons. The grass weapons used with the Water of Stone was nice but it wasn't ideal. In fact, the Water of Stone could make anything hard and solid.

If he were to use the Water of Stone on bones rather than grass, the hardness would be better. His goal was to produce melee and ranged weapons for the people that would become Adapters. The bones would be used for the melee weapons and the wood for the ranged weapons.

Now that the tribes could use fire whenever they wanted, it wouldn't be a problem to produce more sufficient things either.

The type of melee weapons he had in mind for the bones were bladed weapons like knives or daggers. If there were any leftover fragments, they could be used for concealing weapons like darts and such.

For the wood, it would help developing spears and bows. He had already decided that not everyone would have the courage to fight close range once they became Adapters. To make the best use of all his people, he needed to give them a way out which was a bow and arrow.

The bow and arrow were also what he wanted Steele to focus more on. This led to him taking only Steele to a private area to explain and show him how the process would be done. Key himself didn't know the full details on how but he had a rough idea of its making.

The reason he didn't bring the team that would help Steele in the method of making bows was that he wanted the people to see Steele as the one in charge of the process and he was currently avoiding the villagers.

It was also best if he could have Steele have a firm grasp on what the method was so Steele's subordinates didn't see him making mistakes. "Alright, Steele. What we're going to be using is this wood here. It's not the general type but a more flexible kind like bamboo." Key explained as he grabbed a piece of wood from the pile.

"Key, are you sure you know how to do this? It's not like they teach us this stuff in school man." Steele asked skeptically. Key just gave a nod of his head before he continued to explain the process. "When we make the shaft of the bow, don't try to over bend it. We will use some fire to soften the properties in the wood while slowly giving it a slight curve but keeping it straight. First, lets spilt the wood in half vertically to get a lighter weight and smoother surface before we sand it."

Steele just looked on with a weird expression on his face. "Uh... This is your first time doing this right?" He asked again to be sure. Key once again nodded to the question. "Yes. It's common sense, so this process is easy to figure out."

Common sense? Easy to figure out? There was no way it was normal to understand how to make the weapons. The only common sense he saw was that the material could be used for weapons, not how to make them.

Since when did this guy become so scary?
