14 Date with Sylvie through the tower

After seeing the tower she then look towards me with such contempt and disgust that it feels like she could kill me with that glare alone. Meanwhile on the other hand I look particularly pale since I forgot to add a very important part of male genitalia to my tower.

"Now that your tower is complete, all you need to do is drop a drop of your blood in the highest point of the tower namely the 10th floor as of now, this is a one time thing though so don't worry that after you increase the tower's floor you'd have to do it all over again. When that is over you will be in complete control of your tower, regarding the bodies, trash or dirt that will accumulate within tower, the tower itself will clean them unless you don't want the tower to do it. Now why is there such option? Simple some monsters will eat those and can evolve but the percentage is very low. If the floors are not maintained properly your monsters may get ill and thus it will lower their efficiency."

"Thanks for the info but since according to the monster compendium, the monster I have right now don't have a chance to evolve I'll just let the tower clean itself for the time being." I earnestly smiled and nod at her.

"That's too bad though, don't worry you'll get use to it. Come let us go to the 10th floor." She then grabbed my arms and drag me to enter the tower. At the entrance of the tower are the two construction golems standing still like a statue. Heck if I didn't know that they we're my golems I may have thought of them as wall ornaments since they blended really well with the environment.

As we enter the 1st floor buffer zone, we came across a wall that has a large header that says 'Mahaba Ratbu Tower' below that are 9 doors. Each door corresponds with first floor of each section namely, 11th, 21st, 31st and so on. Well, all of the said doors can't be open yet since there is no corresponding floor yet but in the future, behind those doors will be a teleportation circle and it will be only usable by those who conquered the bosses the said tower which is in floors 10th, 20th, 30th and so on.

We then proceeds to maze part of the 1st floor, since I didn't activated any of the traps within the tower we walked with care free attitude. "The traps within this floor are really easy to spot, I can even walk through this floor with my eyes closed even if the traps are activated. The patterns are easy to discern and it doesn't give me any feeling of danger so to speak."

"Well again, Sylvie that's the point that I want to demonstrate with the 1st floor of my tower. It will get harder and harder the longer you stay within the tower. With this I could whittle down the invading forces besides this is the best I can with the credits that you guys gave me." I tried to explain to her about the circumstance, I could have made better trap arrangements if I have better credit budget.

"Oh well I'm sure you'll only get better from this point out since you could think of such devious way to lure in people in to your dungeon." She then nonchalantly smiled at me and proceeded to walk forward. As we came to the end of the maze we came across a teleportation array towards the second floor. We then walk onwards till we reach the lush forest of the 3rd floor.

"Follow me to the center of the floor and then you could use the spawn crystal there." Within the Forest I saw the ponds that I laced with poison, for every 10 ponds about 7 of them are laced with poison. The forest has this utter silence in it devoid of life, the only thing missing now is a cricket sound to make our walk awkward. Within the center of the forest there stood a majestic tree that almost reach the ceiling it dwarfs the surrounding trees with its presence.

"Here use your crystal here, just crush it and your good to go"

"Okay give me a minute."

I then took out the Giant Stag Beetle spawner crystal from my storage ring.

[Giant Stag Beetle]: overgrown stag beetle that is known for its hard carapace and aggressiveness. Spawn per day: 5.

Attack: 2 Defense: 3 Speed: 1

Population limit: 100

After I took it out, I then proceeded to crush it and after that I heard a sudden notification from my earpiece.

"Giant Stag Beetle spawner crystal has been used in 3rd floor of 'Mahaba Ratbu Tower' will spawn monsters after midnight, will spawn juvenile to adult Giant Stag Beetles. Monster has no chance of mutation or evolution."

Huh I wonder what's the difference between evolution and mutation. I'll think about it later on if I have some time for it. After crushing the crystal it broke into countless pieces and was blown away by the wind. "Okay that was good let us proceed to the other floors." We then walk towards the 4th, 5th and 6th floors.

Now in the 6th floors is a cave, it's dimly lit by glowing moss, mushrooms and occasional torches along the way. There is no poison yet so we walked right near the end of the 6th floor which is a huge cavern, right at the middle is a pond that has a depth of 5 feet. At the end of the cavern I took out the Ant spawner crystal which then broke into countless pieces.

[Type 1 Mutant Ant]: normal ants that have mutated to increase reproductive rate of its queen. Have 10% chance to spawn a Type 1 Mutant Ant Queen. Spawn per day: 10.

Attack: 1 Defense: 1 Speed: 1 Coordination: 2 - normal spawn

Attack: 2 Defense: 3: Speed: 2 Command: 4 Intelligence: 3 - Type 1 Mutant Queen - buff surrounding Type 1 Mutant ant with +1 to coordination.

Population limit: 1000

"Type 1 Mutant Ant spawner crystal has been used in 6th floor of 'Mahaba Ratbu' tower will spawn creatures after midnight. Will randomly spawn worker and fighting ants randomly, they have the same attributes but with different specialty as for the fighting ants will be offense and for the worker ants will be defense. If a queen ant spawns, will increase spawn rate by 10%, maximum number of queens is 2."

After I heard the notifications, a large egg suddenly materialize near the pathway of the exit. The height of the egg is 2 meters with a width of 1.5 meters, it's pulsating while a faint green light follow the rhythm of the pulse and it also have green liquid oozing from its top. 'Gross' is what came into my mind and it kinda look likes an egg from a Xenomorph except it's larger by several times.

"This one is special, you see that egg is the spawning point, once it's destroyed you'd have to get another one unless you have a queen that will spawn another egg in time at the cost of her life. In the event that you don't have a queen and the egg is destroyed you can get a similar spawning crystal at the office, free of charge of course, or get a different one from the store which most likely cost more or get a random monster crystal spawner and use it here. Either way is good." She then taps the egg several times.

"Okay looks gross but since I have no idea most likely any invaders won't have any idea about that too. I mean they can't just destroy it 'cause it looks gross right?"

"Maybe." She then replied.

After that we then proceeds to the 9th floor. We then teleported into some grasslands which should be the outer perimeter and I could see some rabbits with small horns on their forehead running around. We then proceeded to the rural area and at the middle is a large house although calling it a house would be a farfetched description. We then enter the house and at the entrance is the living room or den, I then walks toward the middle of the room and crushed the spawner crystal.

[Goblins]: Semi-intelligent creatures that mostly uses their advantage in numbers to overwhelm its enemy. 1% chance to spawn Goblin king, 5% chance to spawn goblin mage and hobgoblin. Spawn per day: 5.

Attack: 2 Defense: 1 Speed: 2 - normal spawn.

Attack: 3 Defense: 2 Speed: 3 - hobgoblin.

Attack: 1 Defense: 1 Speed: 1 Magic: 3 - goblin mage.

Attack: 5 Defense: 3 Speed: 4 Command: 4 Intelligence: 4 - Goblin King - buff surrounding goblins with +1 to Attack, Defense and Speed.

Can be strengthened by upgrading their weapons and armor.

Population limit: 1000.

"Goblin spawner crystal has been used in 9th floor of 'Mahaba Ratbu' tower will spawn creatures after midnight. Will randomly spawn goblins with crude weapons, Hobgoblins will spawn with level 2 weapons and equipment, goblin mage will spawn with level 2 weapons and equipment as well. If Goblin king is spawned it will spawn with level 3 weapon and equipment while surrounding goblins will get +1 to attack, defense and speed. Once a Goblin king is spawned a new attribute will be added to the goblins which is coordination. Coordination of the goblins will greatly effect on how well they could execute the command of the Goblin king. Can be strengthened with upgrading the equipment, upgrading equipment doesn't correlate with enhance stats."

*Coordination – The higher the Coordination attribute is the easier it could execute complicated commands*

*Command – The higher the Command attribute is the better it could command creatures and instill fear toward enemies/subordinates*

After I crushed the crystal, as usual it broke into countless pieces, after that a glowing red portal appeared in the middle of the said room and on the portal is a small skull.

"Now this one, is one of better ones from the silver spawner tokens, since if you have enough equipment they will be hard to defeat and if you have great luck the king that will spawn will be a decent one. If there comes a day that you will be able to wage war against the Bestille Empire they will be called Goblin Horde or if you fancy, they could be also called Goblin Army. Ahahaha" She then laughed wickedly, what an odd lady.

I then suddenly came to a realization … Are we the baddies?

"Sylvie are we the baddies? Since technically I will wage war with the Bestille Empire later on and most probably will kill a lot of people innocent or not."

"Technically yes and no. Yes you will kill a lot, innocent or not. No because if we just let them rampage through the midland continent, they will incur the natural law of the planet which will most probably cause a catastrophe to begin with. It may be possible that it will cause the planet's demise and will affect the overall balance of this universe or reality. It maybe just one planet in the countless number of planets in this reality but we have to start somewhere, with this, in the future they may come to a point in which they too, can create magic or technology to traverse the multi-verse. If that happens we will scout them to join the union or just have them stay neutral. Now the Union don't have enemies since the realities that we have come across is less advance than we are."

"We can't directly interfere with this kind of things since it's protected by greater magic that even with the current magic and technology we have is useless against it in the long run, we may for a brief period interfere but it will cost us too much that it won't be cost-effective. So for the time being we could only do this and let them go on their own. Come we have wasted a time talking here let us go to the last floor" She then motioned me to follow her

We arrive right in the middle of the arena of the colosseum. The arena is empty, it looks withered and could really use renovation but it has it's certain charm of it, like a lone old wolf, it maybe old but it still has its fangs, claws and just like any other old person, vast experience. We then proceeded to the gazebo which usually house the king or emperors to watch the match. She then motioned me to drop a drop of my blood podium on the gazebo.

I bit my thumb shinobi style, you know just Naruto things. It kinda hurts but I'm a man. After I dropped the blood a notification ringed out to my ears.

After I heard the notifications a portal opened at the middle of the gazebo.

"That's a portal that directly links to your room. Since you now have full authority of the tower you can manage it wherever you are or if you have someone to trust you could just have them as proxy to manage the tower. Now this portal is only limited to you, even I won't be allowed to use it. By the way thanks for walking through all of the floors when we can just teleport directly to the floors where you will use the spawner crystals, moron. I'm off since I have better things to do other than to babysit you."

After saying that she disappeared completely, that's odd, I can't imagine why she would be angry at me.
