321 Chapter 321

After Yu's essence calmed reason returned, and she helped Zack up due to the weak legs. Given the state of his clothes, and the mess they created they looked for a way to freshen up. After walking for a few minutes, and finding nothing Zack created one to speed things up. They both slipped out from their clothes and descended into the lake.

"In the future try to only do that in the room," Zack told Yu.

"I didn't mean to rip her clothes." Yu lowered her head.

"Destiny made a lot so don't worry. It's amazing that you can tear it. Given your personality, it's easy to forget how strong you are." Zack pulled Yu close.

"You're not mad?" Yu looked up into his eyes.

"I could never be mad at you." Zack kissed her forehead.

Yu had a large smile on her face as she embraced Zack tightly. After pulling away she noticed the traces of blood left behind from her love bites. Yu wasn't the only one to notice this either. The moment the injuries occurred a gust of wind carried his scent into town. They were just barely leaving the water when a figure sped in front of Zack.

"Did you think I wouldn't notice?" Madison licked his chest.

"I'm surprised it took you this long." Zack squeezed her ass.

"I'm not the only one," Madison whispered.

Zack glanced over his shoulder seeing a pair of red eyes hiding in the forest. After returning from their journey Cassandra returned to her usual diet. It wasn't a problem to return to animal blood, but she never forgot the taste of Zack's. She was the first to arrive, but given their last encounter, it was too embarrassing to ask.

"She's still a little shy about it," Madison smirked.

"I have a busy schedule so you might wanna get started," Zack told Madison.

"Don't have to tell me twice," Madison revealed her fangs.

While Madison was feeding Yu got dressed, and approached Cassandra.

"What's wrong?" Yu asked.

"N-nothing," Cassandra replied.

"Are you coming with us?" Yu smiled.

"You don't mind?" Cassandra asked.

Yu grabbed Cassandra's hand and led them back to the group. She watched Madison feed on Zack as he casually talked to Yu. The staring wasn't hard to notice, and once Madison was done he retrieved a vial. Before the wound closed in his neck Zack trailed his fingers over it as the vial filled.

"Maybe this method is more suitable for you," Zack told Cassandra.

"Th-thank you," Cassandra mumbled.

"If you coddle her things won't change." Madison sighed.

"I'm okay with that. There's not a single thing I would change about any of you." Zack smiled.

"We should get going." Yu grabbed Zack's arm.

"If you're gonna be shy I get the other." Madison teased Cassandra.

They were passing the mountain district when Amy descended with a few harpies. With their help, it didn't take long to find a suitable location. Zack got to work on creating a flat space as a crowd slowly formed. Once the trees were cleared Arges, and the other cyclops began hauling them to the side.

"When I first toured the city I wondered how it was sculpted this way. Every lake, hill, and tree seemed perfectly placed." Aida stated.

"The estate was in good shape before I made alterations," Zack replied.

"Are you expanding the mountain today?" Arges inquired.

"I wanted to mark a spot first," Zack recalled his earth orb.

"It seems everyone is down here anyway, but just to be safe can you do a final sweep?" Zack asked Amy.

Amy nodded at the others nearby as they spread out through the sky. There were a few residents returning to the mountain, but after a brief explanation, they took cover. Once every house was checked Amy returned with the go-ahead.

The earth orb launched from Zack's hand to fuse into the mountain. Once the rumbling ensued its shape began to morph. After the mountain extended to Zack's position he began physical alterations. He recalled his visit to the Jade Palace and attempted to replicate it.

Narrow roads appeared trailing up the mountain with houses carved along the way. Next Zack hollowed out a section at the base of each ramp to allow more stalls to be built. Once the trails finished to the current housing district he reached his hand towards the summit.

At the top of the mountain, villas were appearing for the aerial species. Following the villas were several caverns at the base of the ramps. Zack made sure to soften the earth inside the tunnels for species who wished to burrow. Now that the side of the mountain was sculpted he retrieved the earth orb.

"Why did you stop?" Arges investigated.

"I wanted to leave space for the others to build what they desired. This is our home, and everyone's input matters." Zack stated.

While Zack discussed new buildings with the mountain representatives Aisha approached.

"Are you still making the other district?" Aisha investigated.

"I'm just waiting on some help. I can create a similar environment, but the temperature wouldn't match it." Zack replied.

"How did you pull it off in the arena?" Arges asked.

"We created a barrier and implemented a few new spells from the library. Once the spellwork is in place, the barrier amplifies the sun's rays allowing it to reach higher temps." Rolen walked up with Thea at his side.

The cyclops saw Thea approaching and greeted her politely. She was a kind and beautiful woman who was an artisan in the forge. They knew she was dedicated to Rolen so they only smiled, and waved.

Once the cyclops settled into town they learned Rolen was her mate, and they had trouble believing it. After observing Rolen's craftsmanship, and witnessing his magic they saw the appeal. Several tried to match his work to catch Thea's eye but came up short.

Being with Rolen was the best option for the city as well. If Thea was single it would likely be a battle between the cyclops to gain her favor. Affairs of the heart would be difficult to keep in the arena.

"We got the materials ready we need just mark the spots," Thea stated.

"Already done," Zack replied.

"Then let's get to work." Rolen smiled at Thea.
