5 Hunter Recruitment
It's been a few days since Jin-Ho took a break in taking raids from the association. He then decided to visit the place in hopes of finding another raid he can solo.
When Jin-Ho arrived...there seems to be more people gathered inside the building than usual and some of them even looks like they specifically dressed up for this day wearing their flashy armors and showcasing their weapons and items.
Yu Jin-Ho walked to one of the Hunters present and asked.
"Excuse me...what's seems to be all the commotion about?"
The Hunter Ji-Ho asked turned her head towards him and immediately blushed.
"T..today is the day guilds would be recruiting Hunters from the association."
It seems that various guilds from all over Korea would come to the association twice every year to recruit some promising Hunters that could potentially join their guild. Hunters can be considered extremely lucky if they got accepted in a guild since the fortune a Hunter can make is incomparable to when they are just working in the association.
Today is quite different since the top guilds in Korea would also be recruiting Hunters from the association and the guild masters would be the ones to assess the Hunters themselves.
"Is that so...thank you."
With that...Yu Jin-Ho left.
The woman was in a daze watching Yu Jin-Ho walk away.
'I didn't get the chance to get his number.'

.
.
And thus...numerous guilds began appearing one after another and recruit Hunters that can join their guild.
A few minutes later...it's finally time for the top guilds to show up. By the moment the guild masters arrived, they quickly gained all the Hunter's attention excluding Yu Jin-Ho since he doesn't give a sh*t. All he wants is to solo another dungeon.
The guild masters that made their appearance were Myo Chul-Moo the guild master of the Iron Guild, Dam Min-Jee of the White Lotus Guild and lastly, Bang Youngsoo the guild master of the no.1 guild in Korea...the Vermillion Guild.
Right before these guildmasters stepped foot inside the association's building...they have already set their eyes on a certain person to recruit and that Hunter is non other than Yu Jin-Ho...the one who swept up numerous F-rank portals in just a short amount of time by himself. The guild masters won't pass off such a promising individual.
Myo Chul-Moo was the first one to approach Yu Jin-Ho and then uttered some words of greeting in a rather loud manner.
"You are Hunter Yu Jin-Ho correct? Join my guild."
Jin-Ho gazed at Myo Chul-Moo with an unimpressed look on his face since Chul-Moo interrupted his conversation with the receptionist about him taking another solo raid.
"Can't you see I'm having a conversation right now? Go do your recruiting shit or whatnot on somebody else I'm not interested."
Jin-Ho shooed Chul-Moo away with a hand gesture. This caused gasps for those who saw the scene. To think that a newbie Hunter would just drive away an S-rank Hunter and a guild master at that.
The D-rank Hunter's blunt reply resulted in the hotheaded guild master to fume in anger as bulging veins came popping out of his forehead.
Myo Chul-Moo tried to compose himself and tried asking one more time.
"You better answer properly while I'm still asking nicely...join my guild."
Yu Jin-Ho didn't like Chul-Moo's tone as he also got back at him with a smile on his face.
"You also better get the fuck out of my face while I'm also asking nicely."
Not being able to contain his anger any longer...Myo Chul-Moo was about to pounce on Jin-Ho with the intent to kill but the other two guild masters stepped up and somehow managed to subdue Chul-Moo's advance.
They urged Chul-Moo to calm down.He took a deep breath and after he calmed himself down...Myo Chul-Moo left Yu Jin-Ho alone.
Both Dam Min-Jee and Bang Youngsoo were relieved that they were able to stop Myo Chul-Moo in time resulting no one to get hurt.
Dam Min-Jee told Jin-Ho that he was impulsive in his words.
"That could have gotten dangerous you know that? The Iron Guild's master is infamously known for his temper...it's a good thing we stopped him."
That indeed could have gotten very dangerous...for Myo Chul-Moo that is. If not for the other two guild masters stopping Chul-Moo...things might have escalated already.
Yu Jin-Ho felt it himself...he almost instinctively buried his dagger on Myo Chul-Moo's throat when the hotheaded guild master emitted killing intent towards him.
Dam Min-Jee also confessed to Jin-Ho that the reason she came here in person is to have him join her guild. Unfortunately for her...he refused once again because Yu Jin-Ho doesn't want to be tied up to any guild.
Min-Jee didn't take Jin-Ho's refusal and still insisted.
"What does it take for you to join my guild?"
Yu Jin-Ho quite liked the look of sincerity in her eyes.
"If you really insist...then give me your position as the guild master of the White Lotus Guild."
Dam Min-Jee was taken aback by Jin-Ho's terms. It's not only her that was surprised...those who heard Yu Jin-Ho also didn't expect for him to say such impudent words. To think a mere D-rank Hunter would be so bold as to try to covet the position of a guild master.
Dam Min-Jee was shaking in animosity as she grits her teeth while clenching her fists tightly.
More to the crowd's surprise...Dam Min-Jee accepted Yu Jin-Ho's proposal but in one condition, Jin-Ho will have to beat her in a duel first before handing to him the position of the guild master.
'This damned bastard...my proposal is getting way over his head! Fine then, I'll show you just how badly mistaken you are if you think that taking my position as the guild master is easy.'
Jin-Ho didn't think that she would really stake her position as the guild master. Now this got him really interested in her as he also went along with Min-Jee's condition.
The both of them went down to the association's underground training facility. The rest of the Hunters also came to spectate the match.
Before they began...Dam Min-Jee stated the rules of their duel first. The match will conclude once the opposing side surrenders or no longer able to continue.
Secondly...the use of lethal attacks are forbidden.
With the rules placed...both Dam Min-Jee and Yu Jin-Ho went up the stage.
A huge barrier then encompassed the whole stage to prevent attacks from leaking outside and harm the spectators.
And thus...the duel between an S-rank guild master and a D-rank newbie began.
