13 Building the Team
As of now...only Jin-Ho and the other two girls are the only one's left inside the office. Gye Haeun wanted to get directly to the point so she asked Yu Jin-Ho.
"Why did you let me take all the credit in subjugating the boss monster yesterday?"
Although being acknowledged as the one who killed the boss monster is very beneficial for Gye Haeun as it helped her reach the rank of A...she can't possibly accept it with good conscience as she barely even done anything to help in the said matter.
All Yu Jin-Ho had said is for Haeun to consider it as a gift in condition of her not revealing Jin-Ho's true power and anything that had happened in their raid yesterday.
Yu Jin-Ho's condition isnt even that hard for Gye Haeun to fulfill as she didn't want to leak anything in the first place but Haeun also has a condition of her own.
"I promise to keep it a secret but...I would like to be your teammate in hunting in return."
Although having a partner in raiding dungeons didn't occur on Yu Jin-Ho's mind until now...the thought of having Gye Haeun as a teammate is somewhat considerable. Having someone who he can trust besides him is not a bad deal at the slightest since Yu Jin-Ho finds Haeun trustworthy enough. Since she more or less now knew of Jin-Ho's real strength...he will no longer need to hold back whenever she's around.
"Alright..."
Even though soloing a dungeon is an option for Yu Jin-Ho...it's only viable on low ranked dungeons. It's highly restricted for a Hunter to solo a dungeon with the rank C and above no matter how strong. So having teammates is a must if Yu Jin-Ho wants to raid higher ranked dungeons without any issues.
Dam Min-Jee who is listening to the two's conversation seems to be lost in thought on Yu Jin-Ho's response. She didn't expect Jin-Ho to accept being Haeun's partner. Min-Jee slowly leaned on Yu Jin-Ho's ear and whispered...
"Why did you agree? Don't you have...you know..."
Though it's true that Jin-Ho's misogynistic personality might get in the way...but he will also benefit from this partnership that Gye Haeun proposed so it's give and take.
"It's fine..."
Being surprised is indeed an understatement to how Dam Min-Jee is feeling right this moment. Yu Jin-Ho...a misogynist bastard who can't even treat women properly agreed to be a teammate of a girl and what's more, someone who he just even barely knew.
Min-Jee really don't know what's going on inside Yu Jin-Ho's head at all. All she did was just sigh in defeat.
"Sigh..."
The White Lotus guild master approved of their partnership. This made Gye Haeun very happy. She then extended her arm towards Yu Jin-Ho for a welcoming handshake with a huge smile on her face.
"It's a pleasure working with you..."
Yu Jin-Ho briefly stared at Haeun's extended hand...
'Like hell he will shake your hand...'
This was all Dam Min-Jee had thought in her mind as she was expecting Jin-Ho to completely ignore the handshake the girl had offered. Once again...Min-Jee was caught off guard when Yu Jin-Ho took Gye Haeuns hand for a friendly handshake.
"Me too..."
After their partnership had been processed...Gye Haeun took her leave first.
By the time they are the only two left inside...Dam Min-Jee stood up on her chair and walked towards the still standing Yu Jin-Ho and rested her hand on his shoulder.
"Are you fine with being touched now?"
All Min-Jee ever got back in return is a hard slap on her hand. This caused her to retract her hand and blew on it to ease the stinging pain...
Yu Jin-Ho briskly walked towards the office's door and said...
"I'm going to go wash my hands first...I'll return shortly."
Thus...Jin-Ho continued his stride out of the office to the nearest men's bathroom to sanitize his hands from a woman's contact.
Dam Min-Jee just scratched her head...
"I guess not..."
After a short while...Yu Jin-Ho returned to the office with his hands completely washed to the point it's shining.
Dam Min-Jee leaned forward on her seat ready on what Jin-Ho has to say...
"So...what did you want to talk about?"
"I want to raid dungeons with only Gye Haeun as my companion..."
Although Dam Min-Jee knew Jin-Ho is strong...she can't just accept this suggestion.
"Denied...it's too risky."
Yu Jin-Ho expected this response so he added another suggestion...
"I have a Hunter in mind that can join Gye Haeun and me..."

Inside a casual cafe...Yu Jin-Ho is sitting while drinking his cup of coffee. The one joining him on the other side of the table is Gyo Yongsun...his C-rank Hunter acquaintance back on his days in the association.
"So...what did you call me here for Jin-Ho?"
Yu Jin-Ho put down his cup and went straight to what he came for...
"I want to recruit you to the White Lotus Guild..."
Gyo Yongsun was taken aback by what Jin-Ho had just said. To make sure he heard right...Yongsun asked again.
"Join a guild?"
"Yes."
It's quite unexpected that a talented Hunter such as Gyo Yongsun hasn't been scouted in any bigshot guilds yet. Though...it's a good thing for Yu Jin-Ho.
Jin-Ho told Gyo Yongsun that he had already joined the White Lotus Guild that's why he's nowhere to be seen in the association anymore.
"So that's why you just suddenly vanished from the association..."
"I'm sorry I didn't inform you about this."
"N..no, no...that's alright."
Back to the main topic again...Jin-Ho asked Yongsun if he would join the guild or not. It's certainly a great offer for Gyo Yongsun as he longed to join such a big guild one day. Even so...he's still hesitant.
"B..but I'm not sure if I'm qualified..."
"Don't worry...I already said good words to you on the guild master."
This made Yongsun very happy as one of his dreams will finally come true. Without wasting anymore time...the both of them went to the guild and to Dam Min-Jee's office.
Jin-Ho opened the door ready to introduce Gyo Yongsun as a new addition. He stopped in his tracks when he saw someone else talking with the guild master. It was none other than Bang Youngsoo...the guild master of the no.1 guild in Korea, the Vermillion Guild.
He is currently sitting on top of Min-Jee's table while taking a gentle sniff of her hair. Yu Jin-Ho clearly saw the uncomfortable look plastered Dam Min-Jee's face.
Even with this happening right in front of him...Jin-Ho couldn't care less as he still proceeded to go inside...
"I brought the guy I told you about yesterday..."
When Min-Jee noticed Jin-Ho in front of the door...she felt a sense of relief.
"You're here Jin-Ho..."
Bang Youngsoo gazed directly on Yu Jin-Ho's eyes and immediately recognized him. Youngsoo was quite surprised he joined Min-Jee's guild.
"Oh hello there Hunter Yu Jin-Ho...fancy meeting you here of all places."
Jin-Ho gazed back at him with dead fish eyes...
"Who are you again? I don't think we're that close for you to act so familiar with me though..."
PFFTT!
Unable to contain their laughter...Min-Jee snickered while Yongsun snorted on the spot. Youngsoo felt insulted but he didn't let it show on his face as he stood up from sitting at the table.
"I'll see you again...Min-Jee."
After Bang Youngsoo said his farewell to Min-Jee...he went straight for the door. Along the way...Youngsoo walked right besides Yu Jin-Ho with a smirk on his face. A few steps later...Youngsoo finally left the office.
