10 Vending Machine of Miracles
"GUYS! THERE IS SOMEONE WHO CAN USE GATE!" A man shouted when he saw Cloud and Marina came out from the portal. This is a rare occurrence again. Gate is said to be a legend skill. There is only few recorded to be able to use it and its last user has died 500 years ago. Many adventurers thought that it might be a legend or just a story but when someone shouted, nearby adventurers rushed in the entrance.
"Hey! Is that you Cloud?" Ford Rufus is now flabbergasted. The man who took her beloved Marina away from him stand out every time he showed up made his heart burn in rage.
"Hey ford! Do you know him? "
" Ahhhhh! That is the guy who destroyed the 5th floor of the Association when he conduct the test."
"He is the one who broke the crystal ball. Am I right? "
" What is that cute dragon on his head? That is a pet right? "

The front of the association filled with people. Cloud and Marina is in the center of attraction right now. They entered the Association and left those adventurers outside.
The adventurers outside continued to talk about the gate user.
Marina and Cloud goes straight to the Quests hall and then resign their mission. They paid for the price and then pick another quests. They first picked a quests to defend a small village north of the Sovella city. It is just 40 miles away form the City.
The said village will be attack in by two days. A demon's eye has been opened lately, deploying monsters. Demon's eye occurrence is a natural phenomenon. It deploys Demons and Monsters to attack the humanity. The level of Demons and Monsters that attacks is at level 50 above. They came from nowhere. Many adventurers entered the Demon's eye but no one ever comeback.
This phenomena existed thousands of years. The legends said that the Demons wanted to take revenge for the human king who deceive them and massacred them to gain more power.
Legends is still legends. No one knew what is the real motive of the Demons for sending forces to kill humans. Some think it is a Heavens retribution for the wrong doings of the humanity and other says that they just want to reign over the whole Retrophe.
"We will head there now." Cloud is super excited right now. It is his first time to show up and protect villagers. He really wanted to be famous after all. And by protecting the village, he can make this opportunity to let the villagers spread his name. This is hitting 3 birds with one stone. Why? Because the first bird is gaining money and Association Mission points, second bird is protecting the villagers and let them spread his name and last the bird is to farm experience points.
'finally. Its time to stand out. I will not going to be humble anymore. This is place is different from earth. ' Cloud's heart is burning with excitement. He is really excited about saving people while spreading his name.
"Cloud. Are you serious in your decision? Our enemy here is level 50 up and they are demons and monsters. Even though Pyno killed Adventurer with a level 50 or up but Humans have different body type and physical strength with Demons and Monsters. This will gonna be really hard." Marina is afraid. Her level is still level 45 and the enemy they're going to face is at level 50 up.
"Marina, just believe in me. Okay? " Cloud patted Marina's head. Marina has no other choice but to agree. This man is still a vending machine of miracle. He made impossible turn into possible.
" Then, lets go. " Cloud opened the gate. The gate is connected to the city entrance. The people inside the Association was shocked on what they witnessed. Looking at the two people and a lizard to travel using the gate is an unforgettable scene for them.
The people outside the association waited so long. They're waiting for Cloud and Marina to come out so that they can ask question. But after waiting for a few minutes someone entered the Association and asked Angela the receptionist. "Where is the man named Cloud?"
"both of them teleported long ago using Cloud's gate." Angela said. The man's eyes widened and run outside and said "Damn! They used gate and go away. We can't ask question anymore".
They really want to ask question about Cloud. Being able to use gate must have a technique or requirements that only Cloud knows. The chance has slipped away.

"Pyno! Can you please fly slower. I'm gonna fall if you continue. " Marina suggested. Pyno fly at 150 mph. They're heading to the village of Flania. Flania is going to be attacked in the next five days. that's why they headed there early.

"Chief is there someone who will accept our request? will someone gonna save us from the attack of the demons?" A warrior asked the village chief.
"Don't lose hope. there must be someone who will accept our quest. Just wait outside patiently Kim and Kyle." The village chief ordered the two warriors.
"Yes Village chief Leon." the two of them replied in unison.
The Village Chief is named Leon Garcia. Flania is in the death's door right now. if no one will going to save them, it will be their end.
There's no time left for them to evacuate. The attack is in two days.Even if they managed to get away from the village, they won't reach the city in two days time then the demons will still catch them. Their forces is not enough to defend against the Demon's force.
" At least let the young ones and womens evacuate. The warriors will hold them up along with the mens." Chief Leon announced it outside. Then the young ones and the womens started to evacuate.
It is noon, they're ready to evacuate to the south, heading to Sovella city. But then someone shouted. "THE ATTACKERS ARE HERE.. WERE FINISHED" and then the man pointed at a distance were a dragon is heading in to them. The womens and Childrens cried. They felt despair, but then they accepted their fate. The warriors lost their will to fight. Facing a Large and fearing Dragon with an imposing aura made their wills diminished.
"This is our end. Let's accept this" Chief Leon said.

Pyno flew to the village with Cloud and Marina on his back. Then they arrived the village. Many people cried. And then someone shout "PLEASE SPARE THE CHILDRENS. KILL US BUT NOT THEM. PLEASE WE BEG YOU!!"
Cloud is shocked. 'How can this be?' and then he realized that the villagers thought that he must be one of the demons then he shouted back "WE ARE THE ONES WHO ACCPETED THE QUEST TO PROTECT YOU FROM THE DEMON'S ATTACK"
The face of the villagers changed. The looks of despair in their face vanished and replaced by hope. They rejoiced that someone strong will going to protect them.
Pyno landed on the ground. Cloud and Marina get off from Pyno. Then after they get off, Pyno shrunk and then seated on Cloud's head. As Cloud and Marina walked toward the entrance, the villagers greeted them.
"All hail saviors."
"come into our house we will cook you delicious foods."
"Ohhhh. Adventurers sent by god. Save us."

Cloud feels like he is a celebrity. And then a man with a Long beard with a length of a ruler and wearing a white robe and holding a staff came out from the Crowd.
"I am the village chief. My name is Leon Garcia. Are you really the ones who will save our village? Please let me see your Association cards to confirm it."
Then Cloud and Marina get their Association cards and handed it to the Village Chief.
"So your name is Cloud young man and Marina for this young girl. Cloud you're still level 31 and you Marina is still level 45.. then where is you Allies? When will they come here?" The village chief and the villagers is somewhat disappointed. Having these two have low levels than the average level Demons have is a disappointment but they think there must be someone stronger than these two will come and save them.
"No. we are the only ones that is going to save you people." Cloud said it proudly. The villagers is shocked and then felt despair again. How can these two defend their village with having low levels?
The hope disappeared and again replaced by despair.
"why are you so sad? Were here to save you? Lift up your faces. Your savior is here?" Cloud said it proudly again.
"HOW CAN YOU SAVE US WITH YOUR LEVELS? HUH? D*MN YOU SCAMMERS"
