17 Chapter 17 - Her Golden Tears

Yuuki had been happy. She and Jimin had been becoming closer and closer, they had began to develop feelings for each other but they were not dating yet. However, things because... worse for Yuuki. Her life back in Japan had began to repeat in Korea. Someone in her school had discovered that she killed her brother, Kaito, and they had spread the word everywhere. When Yuuki walked into school, people whispered about her and looked at her in disgust. Soon after, the bullying began. It was horrible, worse than when she was in Japan. She would get beaten up and verbally abused and so many other horrible things that soon Jimin had to stay with her all the time to protect her.

"Jimin, why the hell do you associate yourself with a sh*tty murderer? You're so much better than her." A snide voice hissed in their direction, the voice surrounded with others saying the same thing. Yuuki's once innocent and happy eyes had become even more dark and empty as she glanced up to look at the person but quickly looked back down. Jimin pulled her behind him and glared at them, daring them to hurt her in any way, however Jimin didn't know how the magnitude of their words had already hurt Yuuki more than physical pain would. The bullies spat in their direction and walked off. Jimin relaxed a bit and then pulled Yuuki close to him.

"Yuuki... are you okay?" He asked gently, kissing her forehead soothingly. Yuuki nodded her head shakily and whispered a quiet and meek "yes" but in reality, she was very far from okay. The words and actions of all of the people who has bullied her recently were piercing her heart, with memories of the bullies from Japan attacking her mind too. Jimin was so angry at all of those who had caused Yuuki pain and sorrow, he even went as far as to beat up one of them. He ended up in a lot of trouble but he couldn't care less. To him, nothing was more important than Yuuki anymore. Nothing.

Yuuki had began to deteriorate even quicker than before. She started skipping school more frequently, refusing meals, closing herself off from others. She could not do it anymore. After school, she went to the roof of the school with Jimin and her eyes were so, so full of sadness. Jimin felt like crying as he looked at her. Her whole body was sagging, she constantly looked around frantically and she was struggling to hide bruises.

"Yuuki..." he began, but Yuuki hushed him. She walked closer to him and grabbed his face gently. She pulled him closer and closer to her face and then she kissed him deeply. He returned the kiss, it was a passionate and yet soft and gentle kiss. She then pulled away and whispered, "I... I had to do that. At least once." She let go of him and she felt more and more cracks appear on her heart, each crack making her feel more and more hopeless.

"Jimin I... I cant do this anymore. Everyone is right. I-I am a murderer. I did kill my brother, Kaito. I-it must be true... I can't handle this anymore. Please, stay away from me. I don't want you to be associated with me, people may start bullying you too..." she starts crying. "... I can't live like this anymore... I feel so alone... but I don't want you to be with me anymore. I-I care about you too much to see you get bullied or be criticised for being around me. I... I want you to be happy, even if it is without me..." she starts to sob. Jimins heart ached so much as he looked at her. Her heart was pure, she had good intentions and he watched her golden tears roll down her face. He tried to grab her hand but she pulled away.

"Jimin, thank you. For everything." She said, crying.

"I'm sorry." She then ran. She ran and ran and ran, tears trailing behind her.

She ran into her house and then slowed down as she walked into the room Kaito was staying in. She grabbed his hand softly and cried silently.

"Goodbye, Kaito. I love you, and I'm sorry..." she whispered. She stood up and walked out for what was the final time.
