1 Chapter 1 - The New Girl

It was the first day of spring. Park Jimin was sitting down with his friends Kim Taehyung and Jeon Jungkook, joking around and chatting. The sunlight was trickling in through the windows and it was still early in the morning. Jimin looked at the clock and gasped.

"Crap. Our teacher is coming in one minute, everyone get to your seats!" He hollered and everyone immediately went to their seats and sat down, only whispering quietly among one another. It was now thirty second until the bell marking the start of the school day rang. Twenty... ten... three...

The bell rang at the exact moment the door opened. Their teacher, Cho Ji-a, walked in and everyone stood up and bowed, greeting their teacher. Their teacher asked them to be seated and then smiled at them.

"Well then, today is a very exciting day. We have a new student joining our class today! She is a Japanese transfer student however she speaks Korean, English and Japanese fluently. Please be nice and welcome her into your class. You can come in now." She looks through the door and everyone's heads turn in that direction. A petite, shy looking girl walked in and smiled shyly at her peers. She had waist long, dark hair with bangs and wide, brown eyes. Her skin was soft and dewy as the sunlight shone on her gently. She had delicate features and walked delicately and softly, as if she was walking on a cloud. The guys looked at her in awe, the girls looked at her in jealousy, and Jimin was mesmerised by her eyes. There was something about those eyes that enticed him. The way the light danced in them, the way they analysed the whole room interestedly, the way her eyes landed on him and they made eye contact, she smiled at Jimin and he half smiled back.

"Go on, introduce yourself." The teacher said.

"O-Okay, teacher. My name is Konno Yuuki, you may call me Yuuki. I have lived in Japan my whole life but moved here since my parents got a buisness opportunity here and I came to this school on a scholarship. I am the same age as all of you, 16, and I look forward to getting to know you all." She bowed and the teacher smiled at her.

"I hope all of them treat you well. So, there is a free space right over there, it's next to Park Jimin." Jimin had awoken from his daze and snapped his head up suddenly. He had realised Yuuki was walking directly towards him.

"Hello, Jimin. I will be sitting next to you from now on, I hope you don't mind. I look forward to becoming friends with you." She smiled at him and he smiled back.

"Heh, okay. I can't wait to get to know you too."

The teacher looked at Jimin and said, "Jimin I'll let you show Yuuki around, I know you'll treat her well."

Jimin nodded and Ji-a continued with the notices for the week.

The bell rang and everyone stood up and bowed, then grabbed their bags and headed out towards the door. Yuuki then quickly walked to Jimin and appeared to be embarrassed.

"Hey, I don't really know where I'm going so, do you mind showing me? I hope it's not too much trouble.."

Jimin had a look at her timetable and smiled, "It's no trouble at all. You have the same lessons as me so just follow me, okay?"

"Sure thing." She replied as they started walking to their lesson. Jimin had heard two girls talking quietly and listened as they said, "-but anyway, that Konno Yuuki girl is gorgeous, she looks really cute with Jimin too. I bet they will become a thing, just you wait." Jimin blushed a bit but shook his head and continued walking.
