1 Prologue

A Korean boy band, starting with small hope and ending their career with worldwide fame and respect, has inspired so many. Their deep meaningful songs, and the boys themselves were worshipped by millions. Their passion and care for each other and their fans burned bright and strong. The members of the band were very close, and remained humble and happy until the last of their days. Although their fans were extremely grateful that their beloved band lived such a successful life, they could not help but cry and wail in grief.

A small gathering at an old church was composed of elderly people, and they were smart to bring plenty of tissues with them. These people, grandparents themselves, were loyal fans of the BTS band, and came together to mourn the late members of the band. They murmured their greetings to each other while an old woman came to one of the walls of the church and began swiping and tapping at a hologram.

"Ah, technology these days..." she sighed, and after several minutes of determination, she'd managed to find the clip.

Several gasped when the clip came on. One started to cry. It showed the ups and downs of BTS, and at the end even a few seconds of the funeral. Strangely, the members of the band have all passed away within a few days from each other, which made the event even more devastating.

There was one thing everyone knew about BTS, even the few who barely heard of them, and that was that the members were as close as family. This bond they had would be remembered for decades to come. And even 5000 years later, when their souls passed onto another body, they would encounter each other and know deep inside, it was fate to meet...

MANY, MANY YEARS LATER...

Deep in space, a giant spaceship sped past distant stars and swirling nebulas. In the East Wing, the A-2 girl's dormitory had 15 teenage girls fast asleep. Except one girl was wide awake, even after an hour since the light's been turned off and they were supposed to be sleeping. Excitement coursed through her, and her eyes were wide open and staring up at the blank ceiling, but she did not move. She seemed to be waiting, counting the seconds in her head silently.

Finally, the girl climbed quietly down her bunk, put on a cloak, and tip toed out of the room. She sneaked through dark halls, crawled through small secret passageways, and ran quickly when she heard the curfew patrol's footsteps near her.

She reached an old storage closet and slipped inside, her eyes taking in the rather cramped space with a glance. There were boxes stacked around, a new assortment of old-fashioned notes with messy handwriting pinned to the wall, a boy sitting on the floor fiddling with some sort of dusty electronic gadget, the orb hovering by the boy's head pulsing a faint blue light.

The girl crouched next to her friend, slightly out of breath. "What did you find now, Kookie?"

The boy's brows knit close in concentration. "I think... you remember those ancient books we've read, with the computers? I think this is a computer."

"Weird," the girl murmured, staring at the gadget. The boy nodded in agreement.

These two friends were Emmalie Minuet and Jeon Jungkook. They were both fifteen years old and had overflowing curiosity and brave hearts. Neither knew that Jeon Jungkook was extremely famous in the 21st century. They were also oblivious that, in a matter of days, trouble would arrive along with six boys that would be instantly drawn to Jungkook.

After 5000 years, the BTS members would soon be united once again. But this time, there would also be the Minuet girl...
