1 The Prologue: Story 1

The world was silent, the rain fell drop by drop, a sole boy walked with no umbrella overhead. Those around him were unlike himself they held umbrellas to protect against the downpour. Yet, his body grew soaked but he continued to walk with an expressionless face.

The ground was covered in puddles the depth of each unknown. The boy trudged through them no second thoughts gave. The crowd, himself included, made their way across the street, red beams blocking the way of others yet to come.

The rain created the look of tears down the boy's eyes, but such a look was unbefitting of the boy who lost the ability to cry, for he tried to feel nothing at all. The boy froze in place all those around him frozen as well, but the rain continued to fall. The darkness turned to a blue with highlights of red and green. A young girl laughed with an upbeat smile and closed tight eyes ran forward towards the teen, before going right through him as if it were all an illusion. The teen reached his hand forward in a delayed state, he after a long awhile lowered his arm and walked, those around him moving in suit.

"An endless rain, but even an endless rain cannot fill a broken heart."

Sound finally enters the world as if before blocked off. The sound of rain splashing against the ground is overrun by the sound of people walking through puddles. Only for them both to be tuned out by the call of a train racing towards the station.

"All follow the path put forth before them, in search of the gate that is just out of their own reach. A chance at a wish that weighs between changing the despairing past or dictating the hope-filled future."

People stood around in the compartment of the train reading articles from magazines. Some chatted amongst themselves ranging from the shows last night to how they were gonna be late for work. Off to the side door staring at his own reflection the same white-haired teen chats among no one, keeping to his own silence, only listening to those around him.

A singular man stumbles through the train car bumping into people left and right. With each person he bumps into, more and more comments are drawn towards the man's actions. His outfit was messy and his shirt hanging out one side of his jeans. His tie hanging loosely around his neck having come half-undone. His eyes were dilated and his mouth in a half grin. In his hand, he held a bronze cube that in moments turned into a hand scythe made of flames. The flames didn't seem to burn the man as he laughed. In a lunatic voice, he bellowed, "You all have led this world to crap! Heaven has made me its oracle, it has given me the truth! I'm here to rebuild for a better tomorrow!"

Chaos quickly moved throughout the train car as people ran in the opposing direction of the man in fear of their own lives. They screamed as they ran for the door leading to the other car. In the other car stood only a pair of red and black haired teens. They seem to be chatting to one another before they took notice of the chaos in the section in front of them.

In the first car, the man stood at the front of the train people trapped on the left and right of him huddled against the walls in fear. He looked down to his left; he stopped his laughing as he met eyes with a girl with chocolate brown hair no older than ten. He leaned down over her and said, "Little girl, you believe in Heaven right?" He leaned down further taking the hair off the top of her head closed his fist. She whimpered in fear unable to break free from his grasp.

"Heaven brought the three worlds together bringing forth six powers as blessings." Behind the man and girl, an ironclad gate with a half spiral with six symbols appeared colored green, red, yellow, blue, white, and purple.

"It calls to those who believe in its powers." He paused as his grin grows wider, "Maybe you have heard all this as bedtime stories. Maybe you dreamed of its power for yourself as you slept." The man brought the scythe close to the girl's neck bringing forth an ominous orange hue. The girl with tearful eyes shook her head from left to right slowly trying to indicate her disbelief in the situation.

A man who watched the whole scene screamed as he tried to run past the man and girl. Just moments after he gets by, the man moved his hand that was holding the scythe and shouted, "Not so fast!" Created a fireball burning the man alive where he fell to the ground.

Standing up over the burning body the crazy man repeats, "The gate is real! I'm going to use its power to become a god!" He once more began his crazy laugh as the girl screamed under him. Footsteps began to echo throughout the train car oddly louder than the sound of flames or screams. Into focus walked the white-haired teen completely unfazed by the situation. The girl took notice of the teen as she shouted out to him in fear, "Help me please!"

The man lets out a confused huh as his eyes connected with the teens'. The teen's onyx eyes stare back but the man doesn't pause in his threats, "You think you can save her? I'm going to be a god no one can stand before me!"

The teen doesn't respond as water began to form in his hand. The man noticed this revelation, "You're like me? You have been called on by the Heaven? Join me to become a god!"

The teen remains silent. The man stands up completely now as he got angry at the teen's silence in the situation. He shouted, "Well stay out of my way." He shot a fireball much like before except the teen created a wall of water blocking and destroying the fire.

The man shouted as he dashed towards the teen, "Like that will stop me. You're dea-" The man doesn't finish his statement as the teen covered his hand in the water creating a transparent blade. When the two met in the middle of the car the man gained a wound on the stomach and fell face first unclear if dead or not. The teen's eyes were shadowed by his bangs in his moment of action blocking out all the light and people around him.

The little girl from before screamed in fright as the doors from the connecting car opened up. The black-hair girl and the red-haired boy from before ran in, they both held bronze cubes similar in aspect to the lunatic man. The girl created a sword of wind; the boy a spear of fire. The girl is the one to speak, "Everyone freeze we are the World Council." The girl sounded confident not fearing the situation she could have ran into.

The white-haired teen turned his head and looked back at the two still completely unfazed. The girl is taken back in surprise as the other boy called out to the teen, "Who are you?"

Around the girl, a blue light appears as a robotic feminine voice informed, "Trons are in position generating zone."

The boy looked over to the girl as the voice vanished along with the blue light around her. Around them, a gray rainbow cylinder extends out around them trapping the four of them in place as the train and everything else move through normally. Inside the zone, the world's light changed making everything around them denser and darker.

The girl walked towards the man checking his vitals while the boy called to the teen again, "You! What happened here? You better start talking." The teen stayed silent as he turned back and just walked away.

"You broke enabler possession law. I'm going to ask again, what happened here?"

The teen turned his head back once more expect this time to speak, his voice was stoic and uninterested, "I don't have an enabler ." He continued to walk after speaking.

The boy was surprised and quietly asked, "Then how did you-" the girl interrupted him bringing their attention to her.

"Ren this guy isn't doing so well." A new blue circle is created and floating around her.

"This quest is complete. We have one in custody who's in critical condition, need immediate medical attention."

The robotic feminine voice from before returned, "A medical tron is on its way will keep the zone active till then." The blue circle vanished along with the voice.

The boy just continued walking out of the zone as Ren shouted, "Hey stop!" It fell on deaf ears though as the teen didn't reply.

Just outside the zone the teen stood in the gray rain yet again getting soaked. With a depressed voice, he mussed, "With all this rain I should have known something bad would happen." Like flashing of lightning, images flooded his momentary mind. A man and women both lay on their stomach's blood covering both their back dead. The memories are dark with no way to get defining features out of the pair. The memories changed to a burning house in a rainstorm as thunder echoed throughout the world.

"Even endless rain doesn't forever fall. The continuation of time is the only thing that is unstoppable." A younger version of the boy stood with wide eyes and a face complete shock. He was unable to stop the burning, he could only watch in tears.

A single raindrop echoed through the teen's mind as it made ripples in a puddle. The world's color changes to blue with hues of red and a line of green. The little girl from before stands before the teen had broken him away from the memories. The teen looked over at the girl and asked in a no longer depressed but slightly annoyed tone, his facial expression following suit, "You're the girl from earlier. Why are you following me?"

The girl didn't reply immediately, but when she did her voice sounded young and playful, "Heaven is almost within your reach but you refuse to seek it out Aster."

They both remain silent for a moment, she has long light blond hair and golden eyes that stole people's sight. When she chose to speak again her voice lightly echoed around her, "You believe Heaven to be intangible like emotion, thought, or time don't you?"

Aster remained silent as the girl talked for even when she paused no words left his mouth. In front of him the same ironclad gate from before forms in front of him. He slowly reached his hand out to it but as he was about to touch it, it changed into the girl, "You weirdo," she said before laughing and running through him once more.
