19 The Butterfly Effect

With complex emotions, Naruto headed straight towards the battle between the previous and current Hokages. With his eagle sight, Naruto had already seen the members involved in the fight. Rage boiled on Naruto's face as he saw Orochimaru using his Dad as a pawn in his schemes.

It was a surprise seeing Jiraiya in the fight as well but he had expected few butterfly effects on the timeline by now. The timeline had already started to shift once he reincarnated in Naruto's body and although the effects were too small that would change from now on with his progress in Sage arts.

At the Chunin Exam Area, the house nearby had been decimated with the fight amongst the Hokages as things slowly started to get out of hands. The Reanimated Hokages power were not at their peak but it with three of the greatest Hokage fighting against the toad sage and the God of Shinobi things slowly started to get intense.

Kakashi and Might Guy were done with dealing with Sound and Sand Village Shinobi and started to clear out the civilians from the battle area. Many important figures from various nations had arrived at the village to watch the Chunin Exams and if they died here then it could put a negative image in the village.

"Wood Release: Wood Dragon Technique," Hashirama said as he clasped his hand together as two wood dragon form each side launched themselves towards Jiraiya and Hiruzen.

"Rasengan" Jiraiya used his student's technique to destroy the dragon as he jumped on top of the wood dragon's body. As soon as the dragon was destroyed he put both of his arms to block the incoming kick from Tobirama.

At the side, Hiruzen had summoned Enma and used its Staff state to break the Wood Dragon and simultaneously fended of Minato's Rasengan from the side. It was good that he was fighting Minato's reanimated self as he didn't have any of his signature kunai with him thus limiting his combat mobility. Although it didn't mean that Minato was easy to deal with.

Before he could counter, Hiruzen did few backflips to avoid attacks from Orochimaru who attacked him using Kusanagi sword. A fist went into his stomach as the Minato appeared before him in flash. He noticed there was Flying Thunder God's seal imprinted in his Adamantine-Staff. Minato had managed to imprint it while Hiruzen blocked his Rasengan.

Hiruzen twisted his body and delivered a kick to Minato side sending him to the side. Both Jiraiya and Hiruzen backed off with heavy breathing. The whole stadium was covered in huge trees, puddles of water, uneven ground and scorch mark here and there. They had been fighting for a while now and Jiraiya and his teacher had started to run out of stamina.

But the same couldn't be said for Hashirama, Tobirama, Minato, and Orochimaru. The Reanimated Hokages had access to unlimited Chakra while Orochimaru stayed out of the fight most of the time only attacking once in a while after finding a good opportunity.

Hiruzen was pissed seeing Orochimaru had learned Reanimation Jutsu but was secretly relieved seeing he had yet to perfect it. Hashirama alone was enough to destroy the village if he was at the peak. Fighting all three Hokage at their peak was something he didn't dare to imagine.

"We won't last this way any longer. We need to seal the reanimated Hokage's before we run out of Chakra" Hiruzen said to Jiraiya.

"But I don't have any jutsu that can seal a person," Jiraiya said. He had a sealing jutsu but it was more inclined towards seal objects and elemental jutsu from the enemy. It was not ideal for sealing reanimated corpses.

"We don't have any choice. I'll use the Reaper Death Seal." Hiruzen said as he created two shadow clones beside him. He quickly started the hand signs as a Grim Reaper appeared behind him.

"Sensei, you?" Jiraiya was shocked and wanted to stop Hiruzen but he was too late. The old man was stubborn and already started the jutsu and stopping now would be meaningless. Jiraiya returned to his serious mode with anger all over his face. Performing the jutsu meant giving your soul to the reaper and Hiruzen had done just that.

Enma appeared to the side now transformed into his humanoid self ready to defend Hiruzen. Jiraiya launched himself towards Tobirama as he was the easiest one to deal with. On offense, Jiraiya had upper hand because of his sage mode and just as he was about to kick Tobirama towards Hiruzen's clone Minato appeared there in a flash with Rasengan in his hand.

"Gotcha'ya kid, I'm your teacher remember. Needle Jizo" Jiraiya gave a confident smile as white hair grew long shielding the part where Minato had attacked with Rasengan. At the same time, Shima's tongue lashed out wrapping around Minato and threw him towards Hiruzen.

Just as Minato's body flickered to disappear, Hiruzen's clone jumped towards him sending reaper hand straight into Minato's back. Minato's Flying Thunder God was interrupted as his soul slowly got pulled out.

"Wind Release: Air Bullets" Fukasuku used air bullets to destroy the woods coming towards Jiraiya. Because of Minato's interuption, Tobirama had managed to escape and he quickly kicked unguarded Jiraiya into the belly sending him flying through the tree branches.

Hashirama took this chance to attack Hiruzen but Hiruzen took the punch in the face and his clone came up from behind catching Hashirama and sealed him. Enma quickly moved forward to intercept Tobirama who was now heading towards Hiruzen.

"Adamantine Prison Wall" Enma took the chance to trap Tobirama into as he turned himself into a prison-like box. Hiruzen managed to move in time and managed to seal Tobirama as well. While they were busy sealing Hokages, Orochimaru's delighted laughter came as his double-edged sword pierced through Hiruzen back coming out of his left chest from the front.

"I win old man." Orochimaru whispered in Hiruzen's ear from behind as he laughed. Without caring for his life Hiruzen quickly finished Reaper Seal Jutsu Sealing all three Kages in the process and fell to the ground.

"I regret letting you leave the village those years ago" Hiruzen face held a regretful expression as he said his last word before he was killed by his own student. His life was already over as soon as he did the Reaper Death Seal but having a sword stabbed through his heart by his own student was a great matter of shame and disappointment.

"Orochimaru, I'll fucking kill you" Jiraiya's enraged voice came from the side as he jumped towards Orochimaru like a wild animal. His sage mode had ended as Fukasaku and Shima were exhausted as well.

"I welcome you to try any day, but then again that will happen only if you survive," Orochimaru said as he dodged Jiraiya easily. While Jiraiya and Hiruzen were struggling with fighting reanimated Kages Orochimaru kept himself outside of the intense fight. Now that Hiruzen was dead and Jiraiya was brunt out the village was within his grasp.
