39 Battle in the Mist Island

Next day soon came but the lingering permanent mist in the surrounding came out a dull atmosphere that made people feel weak and lazy.

The mist hid the sun as well and hence it was hard to tell what time it was during the day. Naruto quickly went to Sage Mood to look for Utakata and finish his job quicker. He didn't want to stay on this forsaken island for another night.

Naruto quickly found the largest Chakra source on the other side of the island and beside's Six tails chakra there were 4 more addition Chakra signatures that were above Jounin level. It was hard to tell who it was just based on Chakra signature hence he could only wait to come face to face with them. He was sure that they were Akatsuki members, which was a bit strange since Akatsuki usually moved in the group of two and here there were 4 in total.

"Let's go, The Akatsuki members are already here. We need to find Six tails before they do." Naruto said to Kakashi and Guy who were enjoying the morning tea. It was especially relaxing to have tea is such weather.

"Yosh! Let's go and kick some Akatsuki's butt. I've been itching for a good fight." Guy said gulping the tea in one go and stood up giving out his signature smile.

"Did you find the Six tails?" Unlike Guy, Kakashi was calm and asked Naruto where they were heading.

"Yea, the island isn't that big. He is on the other side of the island. We can reach there within 2 minutes if you run at full speed." Naruto said.

"And Akatsuki. Where are they now?" Kakashi asked again.

"They should be fighting right about now," Naruto said and it wasn't long before a huge explosion occurred. Both Guy and Kakashi sensed the immense Chakra going on a rampage.

"Let's go, there are four Akatsuki members and we need to look out for Six tails as well," Naruto said and dashed towards the source of the explosion.

Both Kakashi and Guy followed after Naruto dashing at high speed through the mist. The mist had started to get denser but Kakashi and Guy were not bothered by it as they followed Naruto's footstep.

A few minutes later Naruto and his party arrived before a bare land. Utakata had already entered 5-tails mode ready to complete his transformation. The shock wave was strong enough to push the mist away and the fighting ground was as clear as it could get.

Four members wearing a black cloak with red clouds and chin high collars. One of them was staying at the front probably trying to solo Six-Tails. Looking at the members Naruto recognized them as Hidan, Kakuzu, Sasori, and Deidara.

The one doing the fighting was Kakuzu since he was the greedy and violent one. He was already pissed thinking he wouldn't payed much considering this was the job from the Organization and what's more was the pay would be divided into 4 parts since there were four members who were dispatched this time.

Seeing Six-tails was going to complete his transformation, Kakuzu quickly threw his cloak and four black figure wearing different mask emerged from his back. Utakata was already down in his fours turning dark red with 5 tails on his back.

Just as he was about to launch himself towards Kakuzu the four black figure three elemental chakra towards him drowning him in the process. Four figures held four different chakra nature including Fire, Wind, Lighting, and Water.

"Looks like our day will be profitable. Kakashi of the Sharingan and the Green beast of Konoha both have a decent amount of bounty in the book." Hidan laughed seeing the arrival of the trio. His smile grew wider seeing Naruto since Naruto had the highest among the three.

"Great, even the Yellow nightmare is here. I think we'll be able to give our ears a break from Kakuzu's complaints on our way back" Hidan said as he looked towards his side. Sasori and Deidara picked their target without any words as they had gotten impatient with watching Kakuzu playing around with Six-Tails.

"I'll leave the turtle to you Guy," Kakashi said as he launched himself towards Deidara since Deidara had already eyed him.

"Of course, breaking hard things is what I'm best at," Guy said moving towards Sasori.

"Yellow Nightmare, let's see if you even have half of the abilities stated in the book," Hidan said slashing his triple blade scythe the towards Naruto's direction.

Naruto quickly dodged to the side and sent out his kick straight towards Hidan's head. Hidan displayed his agility as he dodged sending his own counter-attack.

Naruto decided to flex his muscles a little and played around with Hidan using only his taijutsu. Hidan was great at using his Triple Blade Scythe and soon started to put pressure on Naruto as he had to back off multiple times unable to keep up with Hidan.

"Come on, little guy. You're not living up to your name." Hidan said as he madly slashed at Naruto. Just as the Scythe was about to cut Naruto's neck he disappeared from the place appearing behind Hidan.

Hidan was surprised but managed to react as he flipped around and used his Scythe to block Naruto's punch. But Hidan underestimated Naruto's strength as he was blown away when Naruto's chakra enhanced fist landed on Hidan's blade.

Using Chakra to enhance physical abilities was common among shinobi but the precision and amount of Chakra required limited how much one could enhance their abilities. Tsunade was one of the few who reached the highest point for in this matter with her high chakra control and chakra reserve.

Naruto was not able to reach the level of Tsunade but his Chakra reserve was big enough for him to dish out few high powered punches and kicks. Hidan stood up without any wounds to his body as his face revealed the lust for battle.

"Hahaha, very good. Lord Jashin will be pleased to have you as a sacrifice." Hidan said as he used his triple blade Scythe towards Naruto. The Scythe was attached to a long rope and thus it held a great range of attack.

Hidan only wanted a small drop of blood from Naruto and Naruto would be as good as dead. Naruto quickly did a few backflips and dodged the attack. Hidan kept moving his arms around sending the Scythe after Naruto.

Naruto was quick in his feet as he continuously dodged the attack and during the time he threw Flying Thunder God Kunai towards Hidan. Hidan laughed as he tried to smack away the kunai with his another arm but Naruto teleported to the kunai grabbing Hidan's right arm which was holding the end of Scythe's rope.

Naruto sent a palm in Hidan's chest creating a deep cavity crushing his heart. Hidan was a bit disappointed seeing Naruto's attack and started to laugh.

"Sorry kid, but I'm immortal," Hidan said as he used his another arm to punch Naruto.

"Immortal! you are underestimating that word." Naruto said as a Rasengan with especially high pitch sound formed in his palm that was pressing on Hidan's chest.

"You, what are you doing?" Hidan panicked as he saw a dense amount of chakra being collected in Naruto's palm.

"Oh, nothing much. This attack of mine is called Rasen-shuriken. It basically destroys everything up to its cellular level. You get what I'm saying right." Naruto said but didn't wait for the reply. Naruto coated his arms in thick chakra to keep himself protected from his Technique while Hidan wasn't as lucky.

Naruto's RasenShuriken shredded Hidan into pieces turning him into a puddle of flesh and blood. Hidan might have been immortal but there was no coming back from this one as Naruto quickly sent a fireball turning whatever that was remaining into ashes.
