So desperate and hopeful for something that could never happen. For the first time the silence between them became uncomfortable. As it kept stretching it became something so very suffocating. Neither of them made a move to break the invisible pressure that was weighting on them. Having enough of it Thea slid off from the swing. "Maybe I am a fool" her voice pierced right through his heart. Her voice so low whispered her feelings out in the open.
