Nightmare

I stared in shock and fear as she drifted out of consciousness not knowing what to do as her eyes slip closed. Angered by her fear of the place she comes from .

I pace back and forth in stress until deciding to sit on the bed beside mate coming to the conclusion that there was simply nothing i could do except wait until she wakes. I watch as she takes steady breaths and her face is as peaceful as ever no creases no worry lines no fearful eyes just peace in this moment she was at her most peaceful and i am almost thankful for it. I continue to watch until my wolf pushes me to hold her . I know her fear towards me stems from her abuse from that overgrown mutt but it still hurts everytime she flinches from my touch as i just wanted the chance to hold her and keep her safe in my arms. I stare at her unknowing form simply sleeping peaceful on the white hospital bed , the antiseptic smell seeping into her clothes covering her scent of strawberries and burning wood . I growl in anger at the hospital smell covering my mates and begin to pace across the marble floor of the alphas suite in the hospital.

"no...no..." i hear her whimper in fear , she begins to shake in fear and a look of utter terror crosses her face . i rush to her side desperate to wake her from the nightmare she is going through . I shake her shoulders attempting to wake her up but with no avail , i continue to shake her and eventually waking her up she springs into my arms seeking comfort from me which i happily return and she cries against my chest as her nightmare shook her up and eventually calms with the help of the moon goddess' bond between us. She quickly shoots back as she realises how close she was and begins to apologise however i hold up my hand and she stops talking , i smile at her

" it's okay we are mates and that is what happens we can comfort one another. " she still shake and avoids my eyes completely and i quickly stand and go to find the doctor . i bring him back to the room and point to my mate and explain what just happened and the fact she is awake and alert. He walks over to her and begins to talk to her about what had just happened and sh explained that she gets panic attack so then Morgan begins to explain techniques to help her and i almost laugh at her lost face

Emmeline's pov

i gasp in shock as i am standing back in the basement of alpha Zane's pack house he comes towards me.

"where have you been ? "he growls in a demand , his claws extending his face forming a ferocious smirk and his muzzle emitting fearsome snarl's . He slashes his claws at my stomach the blood quickly runs down my tattered clothes towards the stained floor .

" no.. no stay away from me " i whisper to him then i felt something grab me and shake me but there is no one else in the room except me and alpha Zane and i look around in confusion .

i quickly understand that i am dreaming and try to pull myself awake . i open my eyes and jump towards the arms of the person trying to comfort me and rather quickly I am aware it is my mate from the sparks I feel from her arms and I begin to calms as they whisper sweet things into my ear and I relax but then jerk backwards as I realise it is Alexandra that I was cuddling into . She lets out a saddened sigh and walks of to I'm assuming find the doctor , she brings him back and whispers to him which I'm also assuming is about me and he walks carefully over to me and begins to ask about what happened and i informed him that i am prone to panic attacks and he explains all of these techniques which i'm not really listening to as i feel Alexandra's fingers tracing patterns on my arms.
