CH:2 I would have thrown a brick

"Hitting your husband with a pillow is not something that good wives do," David said with a polite tone.

"Be grateful to God that it was a pillow I would have thrown a brick instead," Emma replied instantly.

Hearing her answer David burst into laughter.

David got up first to get a shower. Emma was seeing her husband, waiting for him to go.

David unexpectedly unbuttoned his shirt making his perfectly build-up body expose. Emma couldn't help but started staring at him.

Omg, he is so perfect and flawless, I want to get closer to him, should I hug him? No Emma you just want to divorce don't be distracted, but how can I leave such a charming man? However, I decided to not get closer to each other and now be patient Emma.

"Regretting?" When Emma was lost in thoughts David asked suddenly.

"Wh..wh..what?" Emma was a bit shocked by that sudden question. I wasn't loud earlier! Was I?

"Regretting waking up early? You should sleep a bit more." David said as if comforting her.

"Don't be too smart. I don't want to sleep anymore." Emma replied instantly.

David was a bit sad but didn't show on his face. He just went to take a shower.

What does he think he is, I don't need his sympathy. I can take care of my own.

"Emma, can you give me the towel from the wardrobe?" Suddenly David shouted from the washroom.

Stupid!

"There must be a whole new pack of towels in the washroom," Emma replied.

"There ain't one," David said helplessly.

"What the heck! Okay, wait." Emma replied irritatingly and went forward to bring a towel from the cupboard and then knocked on the washroom door.

David opened the little bit door and then Emma stretched her arm to give him the towel.

Suddenly David pulled her into the washroom.

Emma screamed as if she was about to address "an adult" scene, but David was fully dressed. He suddenly pulled Emma into his embrace.
