26 25 : Uncovering

Haru suddenly woke up. His heart was beating madly and he couldn't breathe. He was shaking terribly. His vision was blurry and tears were streaming down his cheeks.

He stumbled out of bed. He could hear someone laughing and his fears began to strangle him. He wanted to run but he was scared. Something crawled disgustedly over his skin and he felt the need to scratch it again and again.

He started crying, reaching for something with his hand. It was so dark. And the voices around were too loud. He needed light, he needed to touch something real, because now, he wasn't sure if he was still dreaming, if the voices were in his head or if they were somewhere in the dark, watching him, ready to assault him and repeat these horrible acts again.

Suddenly an arm wrapped around his waist making him jump and whimper, terrified. He started to mumble a faint prayer while he was crying, his eyes shut.

" - Shhh " he could hear a voice say while he was gently drag back on the bed.

His heart skipped a beat. Akihito? It seemed to be him but Haru couldn't clearly see or feel his touch.

He felt a kiss on his ear and then another on his neck. Haru could recognize those lips out of a thousand.

"- Breathe slowly" the voice told him.

Still shaking, Haru tried to breath slowly. A warm body embraced him from his back and he felt small breaths on his neck. Slowly, Akihito's pheromone entered his nose, caressed his cold skin and tickled the inside of his stomach.

Haru turned around to hug the man, relieved to feel him again.

Akihito hugged him and stroked his back to soothe him a bit.

After the omega was calmed down enough, Akihito said :

" - The exercise… we have to do it."

Haru nodded.

" - Tell me five things you see and two things you can hear." Akihito said in a whisper.

Haru moved away from him and processed to scan the bedroom.

With his fingers he gestured the words "lamp" "picture" "flower" "phone" and "book"

" - Good. And what can you hear?" Akihito asked then.

Haru pointed the alpha's lips, earning a smile from the latter then he turned his head towards the windows and mimicked the word: "rain".

It was dark outside and it was raining.

Akihito brought the omega back into his arms and gave him a kiss on the forehead.

"- It's true… you're with me…" he said. "You did well tonight. You came back to me safe and sound..."

Haru snuggled up against the alpha while watching the rain through the bedroom balcony doors.

It had already been five months since Haru was living with Akihito.

His treatment was going well and his life with Akihito was great. Maybe too awesome.

Haru learned sign language from Mila, Pam's wife.

He was a fast learner. And because Akihito wanted to understand Haru, he learned along with the omega.

Haru was now pretty much used to living without restrictions. He was still asking permission for some things but Akihito could see that Haru was improving.

The omega still didn't have his heat and he seemed cagey of intimate activities. Nevertheless, Akihito noticed that Haru liked to be hugged and cuddled. He liked to snuggle up these days and could go days stuck to Akihito. He was like a kitten.

However due to one of the treatments, Haru had to let Akihito touch his private part. At first Pam tried to convince the boy to go to the hospital, but Haru was stubborn. He seemed to be afraid of something.

So Pam had no choice but to bring all the ointment and materials to Akihito. She had spent hours explaining everything to her brother. Akihito was the only Alpha and Dominant that Haru was quite comfortable with.

So, every Wednesday and Saturday night after a shower, Akihito had to put ointment on Haru's private part.

The first weeks, Haru cried a lot and refused to be touch there even if it was Akihito. He put a fight and Akihito had to stop and let him cry for two hours. For days, Haru glared at him, as if he was a monster. Akihito almost gave up every time Haru would react like that. He would rather skip this part of the treatment than hurting the omega. Akihito would never force Haru to do something he doesn't want to even if it was for his health. Eventually, Pam reprimanded them.

It took a lot to Haru to let Akihito touch him. Now he was just shy. He would closed his eyes and tried not to think too much about Akihito hands - even if he was wearing gloves - on his lenght.

Even though Haru could no longer have an erection and produce pheromones, Akihito could feel the omega's excitement whenever he touched him there. But it would never have crossed his mind to do more without Haru's consent.

Haru was finally smiling more. Every once in a while, he would flash a smile for Akihito's pleasure. Though, he was always on the defensive with everyone else outside the people from the club. With Akihito, Mila, Pam, Zaizen and Deborah, Haru was more opened.

Morning came and Haru opened his eyes with Akihito next to him. Without thinking, he climbed onto the Alpha and lay down on top of him.

His ear on Akihito's chest, he listened to the Alpha's heartbeat.

In his sleep, Akihito put a possessive hand on the omega's round buttocks. Haru chuckled softly.

It was something the Alpha did unconsciously in his sleep. At first, Haru would wait for the alpha to wake up. The first time, he got angry and Akihito had to apologize until the omega retrieved his composure. But now Haru found this gesture rather cute. He loved it when Akihito touched him. He felt alive when Akihito hugged or kissed him. He loved the feeling of Akihito's hands on him. And what he liked the most was the Alpha's gaze. It was kind of warm, affectionate and burning. Akihito always looked at Haru like he was the most beautiful person in this world and it made Haru feel loved and precious.

Haru got up and went to prepare breakfast.

The house was now filled with his belongings. There were books on the table and film cassettes under the TV. There were photos Pam had taken on her birthday on the fridge and on the table behind the couch. Haru now had his own space in Akihito's office.

His room was clean but he no longer slept there even during his afternoon nap. When they fought, the Alpha would still tell the omega to sleep with him in his bedroom at night. He said fighting was part of love and couple's life, so that didn't mean he didn't love Haru anymore. They had arguments because it was necessary for them.

Haru was frying eggs when Akihito wrapped his arms around his small waist.

Haru looked up and Akihito pecked at his full lips.

"- Hi," said the alpha in his deep morning tone.

Haru turned off the stove then buried his face in the Alpha's chest.

" - Did you sleep well afterwards ?"

Haru nodded.

" - Great," the Alpha whispered as he kissed the top of his head. " You know what day we are ?"

" Outdoor exercise" Haru gestured anxiously with his hands.

" - Hey…" Akihito whispered gently. " I will be with you. We will hold hands and took a stroll nearby."

Haru looked down, still worried.

"- We've postponed this exercise too many times now…" Akihito said then.

Haru didn't answer. So Akihito picked up the omega to sit him on the island counter.

With wide eyes and flushed cheeks, Haru stared at him in amazement.

"- Let's do that! We'll start by going past the building. There's a bookstore. We can go there first and if it's okay we'll go to the park behind. It will take us at least 10 minutes. A good plan right ? " Akihito explained.

Haru pondered about it then asked:

"Is it bad if I want to stay home?"

Akihito shook his head.

" - It's not. Of course it's not," he said then. "Whatever time you need, we'll take it… but, I want to go on a small date with you."

Haru raised his eyebrows.

" - Don't you want too ?"

" You mean like holding hands and going to theater ? Like in movies ?" Haru asked excited by the idea.

Akihito chuckled and nodded.

" - Yeah! But for today, I think the library and the park will be enough." he said after gently pinching the cheek of his omega.

Haru agreed. He wanted to try. Even though the outside was one of his biggest concern, having a date, a real one, was one of his dreams, and having it with Akihito made him really happy.

They ate their breakfast while chatting. As always, Akihito was amazed at how quickly Haru could sign off. The alpha could totally keep up and if he couldn't, Haru would just slow down. Being able to communicate without running around a piece of paper made Haru's life easier. Akihito was happy to see his omega happy, that was enough for him for now.

After breakfast they took a bath together. Since their first bath together, Akihito has insisted on continuing to take one with the omega. Although Haru was a little reluctant at beginning, he didn't want to upset the alpha. So he accepted. But now he waited for Akihito every morning. It was their own morning ritual. Eating together, bathing and snuggling up a bit, then Akihito would work and Haru would take that time to practice sign language or read.

They decided to go for a walk in the evening since no one could recognize Haru. It was the omega's fear to cross paths with one of Silas's acquitance.

Haru still didn't know that Akihito already knew everything in details and Akihito had promised to wait for the omega to talk to him himself even though he already knew everything, at least he did his inquiries.

Akihito discovered so many things that he wanted to destroy this whole world and kill everyone who had hurt Haru.

He listed the names of the people who worked with the Kanzaki Clan and which of them was closest to Silas during the time Haru was confined with him.

There were twenty-five people. They were all owners or co-owners and worked with Ogata's Corporation. Akihito's family was their major shareholder or the head of their company. Knowing this put Akihito at ease. This meant that it would be more thrilling to make them suffer.

Akihito looked up from his computer. Haru was listening to the audio playing words for him to sign.

Akihito's phone rang and he answered when he saw Zaizen's name.

"- I did what you asked," Zaizen began. "Haru was hospitalized five times in the same hospital. The Lagoon Hospital in the North.

"That's a bit far," Akihito thought. But he wasn't really surprised. This hospital was well frequented by Omegas.

" - The first time he was admitted was because of internal bleeding during the heat. He was r*ped and beaten to death," Zaizen revealed.

Akihito shifted his position on the chair to hide his dark face from Haru.

" - The second time was because of broken bones and severe bruising. Like someone pushed him from a high scale. But Haru didn't file a complain or anything and a woman named Isa said Haru fell down on the stairs on his own. He lost his balance after "nighttime activities," the woman said. "

Akihito turned around when he heard a small noise behind him. Haru was dozing on his electronic tablet now.

At some point, Akihito did find this behavior quite strange. Haru would sleep a lot. Pam then told him that maybe Haru was just trying to catch up on all the sleep he lost when he was with his fated pair or because he was always dogged by nightmares.

Now, it became natural for Akihito to find Haru dozing off watching TV or after a meal.

" - The third time was for the same reason. The fourth also and the last was for abortion. Each time, the same woman was there as the legal guardian. And each time, she insisted to have Mr. Reinz as Haru's doctor." Zaizen explained.

Haru suddenly looked up as if he had felt the alpha's gaze on him. When he noticed Akihito watching him, he blushed shyly.

Akihito motioned for Haru to join him and the omega wasted no time in doing so. He settled on the Alpha and buried his nose in the crook of his neck. Akihito brushed Haru's hair and kissed his forehead. It didn't take too long for Haru to fall asleep on Akihito's lap.

" - Did you find anything on this man?" Akihito asked Zaizen in a low voice.

"- Doctor Reinz is quite famous. Not for his skills but rather for his…inappropriate behavior. Several times, patients sued him for sexual assault or misconduct. Each time, Silas' older brother pushed the law in his favor and saved him. Even so, after so many cases, Reinz nearly lost his medical degree and his right to practice. So Silas' older brother transferred him to Lagoon Hospital where…"

" - Almost all omega are treated" Akihito ends up feeling frustrated.

" - Yeah… Because the bill is low there, omegas tend to go there for treatment." Even if something bad happened there, no one would try to save them because they are omegas and they don't have many rights to begin with…"

Akihito securely hugged Haru.

" - I tracked down a former hospital worker from years ago. She was working as a nurse when Haru was admitted there every time. " Zaizen continued. " She took care of him during the day but at night it was someone else. Not much happened according to her but she noticed that Haru was scared of Reinz when he checked on him in the daytime. Two days after Haru's abortion, she said she changed her schedules with her colleague to keep the boy company at night, but she didn't find him in his room only to find him two hours later covered with..."

" - With what !?" Akihito growled in rage.

"- Sperm. "

Haru woke up, noticing the change in Akihito's pheromones. The Alpha was staring into space, jaw clenched and angry veins on his neck.

Scared, Haru almost got off him, but Akihito met his eyes. Haru froze and decided to stay still. Even though Akihito was very angry, he wasn't violent. His hand on Haru's back were still soft and warm. With a shaking hand, Haru gently caressed Akihito's cheek to bring him back to earth. When Akihito finally calmed down, he hung up and rested his face on his hand.

"- Haru…"

Worried, Haru watched him. After a moment, the alpha gazed at his angelic face.

" - You are strong, you know that," Akihito said with a sweet smile.

Haru tilted his head, thinking. Then he blushed. He tried to climb down but Akihito laughed when he realized that Haru thought he was heavy.

" - What I mean is…you're brave and stronger than you look." he said, laughing.

He cupped the omega's cheeks and said:

" - My lover is so beautiful…cute and awesome."

His compliments made Haru blush shyly. Akihito stroked the omega's lips gently. Haru's burning skin was now itching per the romantic touch.

Slowly, Akihito joined Haru's mouth with his and their lips started dancing nicely. Every movement made Haru's breathing quicken. He grew restless for more, partly high by the slow, tender kiss and partly frustrated by the lack of action. Amused Akihito was looking tenderly at his young lover. Haru's face was red with an adorable tint of pink. His eyes were watery and his lips swollen. The omega was so erotic.

Akihito deepened the kiss, applying small suctions to Haru's tongue and exploring the sweet cavern with zest.

Haru let out a small muffled sigh which was completely swallowed by Akihito.

They parted, forehead to forehead, still dazed.

Haru stared at the bulge in the alpha's pants. Akihito chuckled.

" - It's going to calm down. Do not worry."

Akihito was used to this kind of situation. Each time he kissed the omega, he would get aroused and his little Akihito would respond to him, excited and eager to be released from all sexual tension. He regretted it immediatly, when he saw the frown on his omega's face.

"But I want you," Haru insisted.

"- You don't have to force yourself Haru." the alpha sighed.

Haru started to pout, looking sad as if he was about to cry.

"I'm not lying…I can't get it up but my body wants you. If it's you, I want to do it. I want you to touch me more and kiss me more." He gestured without a break, eyes filled with tears.

" - Don't cry" Akihito cooed as tears fell on the omega's rosy cheeks.

He kissed his moist eye then said:

" - Are you sure ?"

Haru nodded.

" - Say it… I want your consent."

Haru smiled and this time wrote on the alpha's hand :

" - Be gentle with me please."
