14 His Feeling

Viltus Amarov takes Okazaki Kimura's camera that falls to the floor, while Kimura talks with Kouga Haruto at his office about the recent incident. He looks at the camera for a while and then says,

"Kimura, it's really rare for you to not look after your camera like this. Is something in your mind?"

"Uuuuhhh... That's after I tease Aoba a bit," answer Kimura

"Let me guess, both of you are playing around back then. And then suddenly either you or Aoba was slipped and fall to the ground," says Haruto

"Yes... That's what happens."

Viltus and Haruto laughs a little bit and then pats their friend back. Viltus then sits down at one of the chairs and looks at the camera, while Haruto continues to talk about something else. Suddenly, Kimura sighs and then says,

"So, is that true that Aoba hates me now?"

"Hey... I am just joking," says Viltus tried to defend himself

"But, by seeing the reaction given by Aoba when she runs away from this office..." says Kimura before interrupted by Haruto that says,

"Rather than hate you, it is more like she is embarrassed by the last incident. Of course, if that happens to me, I will be embarrassed too."

"Wait a minute. Do you still have shame left inside that body? I'm really surprised, Haruto," ask Viltus

"Of course, I still have some. A little of it though,"

Viltus and Haruto continue talking about something else, while Kimura thinks about Tadahisa a little bit. He then looks at Viltus and says,

"Viltus, did your father always like that?"

"Huh? What do you mean?" asks Viltus

"I mean, did he really tolerate about this kind of rule-breaking? Especially, he is one of the higher ranking officers at Yokosuka and what I do is a taboo."

"Hmmm... You could judge his way of thinking a little bit by seeing how Big Sis think. You know, both of them are look alike in term of their way of thinking," explain Viltus

"Is that so?"

"In another word, Admiral Yanagi looks really lax about the relationship between Admiral and Ship Girl. Isn't that good for you, Kimura?" ask Haruto

"It should be..."

Viltus and Haruto smile a little bit and then Viltus gives back Kimura's camera to its owner. Kimura checks on the camera and could sees a little crack in the glass. He then sighs and says,

"Uuuuhhh... It's really hard to find someone who could repair this."

"Did you say hard? Isn't there a lot of people who could fix something at the city?" ask Haruto

"I know. But, this camera is different."

Kimura looks again at the camera and then puts it back at the desk behind him. He then says,

"I think I need to calm my head a little bit."

"How about grabbing some meal with both of us? That's should be sufficient for you," ask Haruto

"No, I want to go alone..."

Viltus and Haruto grin at him and then let him go alone. Kimura thanks both of them and start to walk to the canteen. Haruto then says,

"It seems he didn't want to bother us..."

"And he didn't want us to tease him." continues Viltus

Both of them then laughs and then leaves Kimura's office to go to their respective office. Meanwhile, Kimura already arrived at the canteen that quite packed today. He only sighs a little bit and looks down a bit. When he remembers about today incident, his face becomes red once more and it really embarrassed him.

Suddenly, he hears one girl called him. When he looks behind him, he sees one woman with a long brown hair and wearing eyeglasses walks towards him. Her name is Fujiwara Megumi, one name that always mentioned by Viltus everytime they wants to the party. And besides her, a man with short black hair also walks towards him. He a bit taller than Kimura and his build also bigger than him. His name is Takagi Akihiko.

Both of them together with Kimura is one of the graduates that accepted at Yokosuka one year ago. And that time, Kimura already becomes Akihiko's best friend since the beginning year at the marine school. Meanwhile, Megumi acts like their sister everytime something bad happens to them when they are in the second years. But, Kimura can't meet with them recently because he always teaches Aoba and sometimes going out with Haruto and Viltus.

Megumi then sits down in front of him and looks around him for a while. Then, she asks,

"Where are Haruto and Viltus? It's really rare to see you alone."

"Well, I want to go alone today..." answer Kimura short

"Alone? That's really rare of you to ask that," says Akihiko that already sits beside Kimura

Kimura can't say anymore as it only will repeat the same answer afterward. Megumi smiles a bit and then says,

"Did both of them tease you a bit?"

"Yes..." answer Kimura

"Just I thought. No way in this world you will go alone like this."

Akihiko then observe around him for a while and then asks slowly,

"Is it about Aoba?"

"Huh? Why did you suddenly says that name?" ask Kimura really surprises

"You knows it becomes a public secret about you already in love with her," explains Megumi

"Uuuhhh... Yes..."

"Then, what happens?" ask Akihiko

Kimura then tells them what really happens at his office regarding the incident with Aoba and Tadahisa that finds him out. Megumi and Akihiko hear all of that and then both of them laughs a little bit. Akihiko then says,

"You should run to her, dumbass."

"Hey! I can't think straight that time!" protest Kimura

"Hehehehe... That what I expect from you, Kimura."

"Not you too, Megumi."

After both of them laughs a little bit, Megumi then looks at Kimura and says,

"Then, are you like her?"

"I already say this so many times... I love her," answer Kimura

"If you really love her, why did you afraid to chase her?"

"Uuuuhhhh..."

"And why must you embarrassed with that? Isn't that great if one high ranking officer lets you and Aoba dating?"

"Well... Yes..."

Akihiko chuckles a little bit and then says,

"Isn't it good that someone accepting you relationship with Aoba?"

"Well... To be honest, I still not confess my feeling to her. But, yeah... That's something good." says Kimura

Akihiko and Megumi paused a bit and then they say together,

"Wait... What did you say?"

"I still not dating him..."

"Wait... Wait... Wait... Aren't both of you already really close with each other?" ask Akihiko

"Well... I think yes."

"And you still not date her? Really?"

Kimura really embarrassed to hear that question, while Megumi suddenly pulls Akihiko a little bit and observes around them. She then says,

"Akihiko, please refrain yourself from shouting like that."

"Ah... Yes, I am sorry," says Akihiko

"If you do that, Viltus' plan will fail."

"Eh? Viltus' plan did you say? What do you mean by that, Megumi?" ask Kimura

Megumi nods a little bit and then explain it to him,

"Yes. His plan to make himself as a sacrificial lamb to let rumor about him with another Ship Girl in order to shift the spotlight from you. His reason is everyone will easily talk about him because most of the people here don't like him that isn't pure Japanese."

"Wait... What?"

"Why did the high ranking officer didn't apprehended you about this? Shouldn't they already know about your move in this one year? It's because of his plan."

"You are right..."

"Viltus says about he knows one of Military Police personnel and asks him to help him a little bit. And then he makes that rumor about him in order to move their eyes to him," explains Akihiko

"Why did he do that?"

"That's for you," answer Megumi

"Eh?"

"I remember his reason about he didn't want to see someone else relationship crumbles because of something small like this. Something like he doesn't want someone else to fall like him."

Kimura lost word when he hears that. Megumi then smiles a little bit and says,

"And when the time is right, you will resurface and shows to all of them that it's alright to date Ship Girl and interact with them outside the working time."

"Well... We are really sorry to use your feeling for this, but it is the only way."

"I know about that," answer Kimura

Megumi smiles a little bit and then says,

"Then, after you hear that are you still love her?"

"Of course. I still love her. Even after I know what is your plan, I still love her whatever it takes." answer Kimura

"That's a good news."

"Then, when will you confess to her?" ask Akihiko

"About that... I don't know."

Kimura then asks them how to confess and Akihiko gives him some suggestions for that, where Megumi rejects most of it. After that, they are talking about their loved one and so many things that could help Kimura a little bit about it.

After a while, Kimura then leaves both of them because he remembers about the document that he needs to collect soon. He walks really slowly to his office while remembering any suggestion from Akihiko and Megumi. He then smiles a bit and says,

"I will do it... I will..."
