10 Chapter 6. Veil Revealed

Sunlight hit my head hard through the transparent window glass. My eyes bulged, upon seeing the ceiling of the room, I sat up with my throat all dried up. I realized that I was not at my place but somewhere else I didn't knew.

While I was exploring where I actually I am, there came a thunderous knock on my door followed by a whole lot of things in a tray with a delicate woman. She was the same lady who did my makeover.

She kept the breakfast on the side table and said, "Mrs. Sanchester, kindly get changed as you fainted last night and nobody dare to dress you up. Then eat up, then you may leave as per Mr. Louis orders.

I looked at her flabbergasted and thought for a moment; 

Where was she?

She could've changed my clothes.

I perceive we both have alike gender.

Whatsover, I kicked off these thoughts and asked her in a thin voice, "Is this Mr.Louis place?"

She answered with a nod.

I grabbed my cell phone and descended through the stairs and barged into Louis room as directed by Erica.

Upon gushing into his room like a storm, I saw with nothing but a towel wrapped around his waist. His back faced me. I could see his muscled body,  he turned around upon on hearing the sound of door knob being motioned. He faced me, with water dripping from his messy hair followed to  his torso and six-pack, making him damp.

Damint.

I stared him soo hard. He was coming closer to me,  which made my heart jump hard against my chest as if it's going to come out in fractions of seconds. Anyways, that didn't occurred as he slammed the door hard before me. The view was cutt of in front of me.

I was wondering to knock the door and ask him what I was hear to ask him. But something pushed me off, I was scared to know the truth but  I also wanted to know it. If I won't take an initiative now then my lifes going to worsen.

My thoughts broke when I heard the door open.

He appeared in front of me and yelled slowly, "What!!Why were you in my room without my permission?

I stuttered,"I jus...tt ca....umm....me to aahh....sk tha.....ttt whhy y.....ou bro.....ought meeeeee with you??

Holding up my breath in a one go I managed to say, " You should've left me there, with my father."

He looked me anxiously and smirked," I was also not interested to bring a trash to my house,  it was just because your father left you there."

His words wrenched my heart apart. I was a motionless being at the moment and dare to think anything,  I couldn't retain much of it as I thought of it as a lie- a big lie.

I stood there processing everything, when a big hand started caressing my cheek, I looked and jerked his hand away and counter backed

"You are lying, this is not what he actually did, he cannot ever do this. You are a liar. Why would he ever leave me? He loves me the most."

"I am not lying and you should now why he left you, may be he is disgusted by you know cause venom spreads faster than love baby. And for you don't believe me. Let me show you something,  watch it gingerly sweetie. And see how worried he is about her. More than you!

His hand proceeded towards me with his iPad,  with a video on it. It was about last night weeding ceremony.  Yes,  he was right.  Some part of me believed him but the other half didn't wanted to that's why I stated that he is a liar. After seeing all of this, I handed him his iPad back and asked him with my ocean eyes pelting stream of tears.

"Do you know why he married that women? Is she related to you?"

He held my hand so tight and took me to his room followed by the bang of the door closed behind us. He threw me on the chair adjacent to his bed and sat on the corner of his bed. After settling down he said, " Do you know who I actually am?"

I nodded, and he asked, C'mon, tell me!! Who am I??

An employee at my father's company, I perceive.

He laughed so hard, his shoulders moving up and down.

"Silly girl you are, you think  an employee worth is this much to afford a place like this? You got it all wrong baby, I am the CEO of LOIUS ENTERPRISES for your kind knowledge or rather say the match maker of the newly wed couple.

He was referring the newly wed couple to my father and the lady. My anger poured out, I walked towards him and held his collar tight that he was closer to my face

I yelled,"It is because of you he got married. I hate you for this, you have ruined my life. Just shut this crap up and tell me why did he married that lady?"

He pointed towards my hand, I released his collar after which he answered, "That lady is Nora Justin, it is because of the contract to be signed with one of the company. Both your dad and Nora wanted to sign that contract with the company, it was important for the shares and they got married as a result. "

You should've told me all of this at first place, God Damnit! Now, why did you came and met my dad in person at our house?

He gave it a long thought such that he is thinking how to make up a lie.

Then came his heavy voice, "Obviously to discuss about the marriage arrangements, dumb ass you are."

First, I am not dumb.  Second,  you a big liar. Because you neither are the share holder nor any contract is signed with your company.  How would my father know a random guy like you? And yea, don't you try to bring the social gatherings as a clap back cause he does not interact with people at such places to this extent of summoning them to his house.

Ohh that like my girl, Yeah, so Nora is my aunt. You got that part right. I didn't want you to know all about this. Now you may leave. Because I don't know anything more than this.

Huh, don't you ever try to foul me!

And yes, thank you for renting me a room for one night.

Renting??

Ahh, yes, I've placed the money under the lamp in the room I stayed upstairs.  I don't keep debts with strangers.

With this,  I rushed towards my house-excited to meet my father.  On my way, I grabbed my phone and saw notifications popping out, one after the other. I decided to give a call to Mila once I reach home to let her know everything as I didn't had a proper conversation with her yesterday.

Unfortunately, there was no message from my dad. Did he already forgot about me? I know he married to save the business, he promised with my mother.  But why didn't he either called me or messaged me?

I bit my lip to avoid crying and thinking any crap because I love my dad, the most so I believe him, he won't ever forget me just for that women. And I'll remain his first priority.
