91 90. An amazing child

His face became serious. "Here even walls have ears, so I have to deny you the story. But I will leave a present for you and my promise that we will meet again."

Shu Ya hated parting from people she liked, do she sighed. "Do you really must go?"

His background was the whole time unknown. She could see his movements and even all those messages were sent. Somehow she trusted him enough to stop her guards attacking his messengers. Sometimes things are not as simple they seem.

He could see her expression and the empty look in her eyes and stood up. "Shu Ya, I promise we will meet again. But in time between, please be careful about your health. And one more thing. The situation in the Capital is not safe now. I am leaving to take care of my own family members, so I can't stay here and protect you. But seeing so many people caring about you, I feel a bit more calmer."

She knew he was worried so she just smiled brightly at him. "Hey, old man. I plan to live for a very long time. The situation between royals is not my problem. I don't want to get involved with any of them. You know very well what I have been trough since I was born. Their problems are not something I need in my life. Why do you think I love living in the north. Just as you say, we will meet again."

Her calm words turned him even more anxious. "Care more about your health. You are at the end just a young child, not grown up. What you have done in just a couple of months, not even old fogeys from the palace were able. Stop bothering with others and live happily. Please..."

Shu Ya was someone he never expected to meet in his lifetime. A strong woman or better said in this case, an amazing child. But doing all these things will make her target of those nasty creatures from the Capital.

She could literally read his mind and rolled her eyes. "I wanted to become an open target."

On his face confusion was apparent. "Huh? Why?"

Wen Delun was now certain that this child has her own ideas and bowed. "I understand. Then so be it. You need to become so bright that they have to close their eyes and bow."

With a flat expression, she stood up and hit his leg, making him wince in pain. He never expected this reaction. "Why... ugh..."

She hit him a second time at another leg making him lower his head. She grabbed his cheeks and pinched. "Do... not... have... stupid... ideas!"

He fist was stunned, then realized she misunderstood him.
