40 Ch. 40 Unexpected Passenger

Vivian was a beautiful woman and she did not look her age. She had long brown hair which was currently tied up in a bun and for once in her life she wore regular clothing. Black leggings and a very oversized sweater with a belt cinched in her waist.

Vivian walked in her comfortable flats, throught the airport towards her desired gate. She proptly sat and waited, taking out her phone and going through buisness emails. She had called Lila on her way to the airport and was slightly disappointed by the lack of enthusiasm towards her visit. Vivian sighed and thought for a moment. With a smile she speed dialed a number and head the phone to her ear.

A sensual mans voice responded on the other end after less than two rings.

"Hello?" He asked.

"Hello, darling! I just thought I'd give you a heads up, I'll be in town! We should catch lunch and talk buisness, partner." Marcus was quiet on the other line which highly contrasted the loud and overbearing Vivian. People seated around her peered at her with curious and annoyed looks, but she paid them no mind.

"Alright. I'll have you know that assistant you gave me is causing quite the issue."

"Lila, darling?" Vivian gasped dramatically as she inquired this. More annoyed looks followed.

"Yes, Viv. She sprained her ankle in an arguement with me. I had to drive her home and get an awkward exchange with her roommate." Vivian legitimatly shrugged her shoulders.

"You need someone with spunk in your life Marcus, you're far too boring by yourself."

"Oh, do I now? Well you're about to be more bored now, because I've got to go. Good bye Vivian. I'll have someone keep in touch and schedule that lunch."

"Chao, Marcus darling." Vivian hung up instantly, and smiled wider to herself. She had never met Marcus in person and although he tried to hide and disliked the press there were a few photos of him that slipped through the cracks. Because of this Vivian knew that Marcus CEO of Pro-tech industries was quite the catch. He was in fact the most handsome man Vivian had seen in quite some time.

Vivian was quite adept at catching younger men and this one she had had her eyes on for quite some time. Then again there was some work motives related to this little visit to Lila. Vivian sighed and pickes up her case. Opening it an invisible creature popped out and clasped her shoulder affectionately. No others could see the creature giving it an advantage, but making her crazy looking if she were to intruct it. Instead she meerly patted its head quickly and lightly and closed her case.

As she borded the plane no one else noticed the small creature perched upon her slender shoulder. An unexpected passenger went unseen.
