37 Ch. 37 Its the Doorbell!
Cole rang a bell downstairs and waited at the set table for a few moments. He waited and waited, but after a couple moments neither of the other residents came down for dinner. Cole sighed to himself and looked at the delicious meal he made. Slightly frustrated Cole floated and phased through the ceiling, popping up through Isaac's desk. Isaac fell out of his chair backwards in surprise.
Cole laughed at Isaac's shock.
"You're going to have to get used to our phasing if you're going to let two Sandmen live here." Isaac sighed, relaxing from the shock of the jump scare. "Okay come down for dinner, and get Spencer too."
Cole phased back through the floor and Isaac saved his work, then got up. He knocked lightly on Spencer's door and shouted through it to him. Isaac went down the stairs to see the delicious meal that Cole had made. As Isaac went to grab his fork Cole slapped his hand lightly. Isaac seemed surprised at the action and looked up confused.
"Wait until Spence is down here okay?" Isaac nodded, but he tearfully rubbed his hand. Spencer came thundering down the stairs just as the clear sharp cords of the door bell rang through the room. Confused the three boys shared a look and then stared at the door as Cole went forward to answer it. The door opened to reveal the two intimidating bearish brothers from earlier in the evening. Joshua was looking sheepishly away, as Francis brushed past Cole into the living room, muttering,
"Not you again..." Cole moved aside against his will making a path for Joshua to enter behind his brother. The pair only had eyes for Isaac whom sat at the head of the table and looked at them with his wide multicolored eyes.
"Hey guys whats up?" He asked them nonchalantly.
"Are you being held hostage by these two?" Francis asked in a demanding tone, as he glared at Spencer. Spencer held his hands up to show that he was passive. Isaac's laugh softened the suddenly stiff mood in the room.
"I guess you all haven't had a proper introduction. Can we all just start over?" Francis straightened.
"We can do whatever you want Isaac, as long as you're happy." He said as he looked away. Isaac got a slight color to his cheeks as he cleared his throat.
"Well these two are my new tenants. The brown haired one with gold eyes is Spencer Maier, and the green haired, grey eyed one is Cole..."
"Cole Usep actually." Spencer looked at Cole with a raised brow, which Cole easily ignored.
"Roomies, the galaxy haired one is Francis and the other one is Joshua, the park brothers. Oh-"
"I'm the other one now?" Joshua protested interrupting Isaac.
"You always were." Francis replied with a grin as he messed up Josh's blonde locks.
"Ahem!" Isaac coughed to get the two to shut up before they got too far ahead of themselves. "Since the cafe is getting more work and we've been needing some helping hands for a while these two are also going to join our team." All at once the four of them all responded with,
"NANI?!?" Isaac smiled to himself- happy to be in charge for once.
"Yes, It's already been decided!" Before any one could protest the clear cords of the door bell rang out once more. Everyone stared at the door in shock and curiosity.
Who could it be now? Almost all the main characters are in the same room already!
