62 Under the Moonlight (2)

Iris shrieked and covered her bosom with her arms as she turned her body away from the man's sight. Embarassment washed through her.

"Lord Kieran? What are you doing here?" She asked, aware that her face was red now. She didn't even sense his arrival and she had no idea how long the demon lord had been standing there.

Iris noticed that he looked different now. His clothes were too casual for a demon lord and he was wearing a silver mask that covered the upper part of his face, saved for his nose and mouth. However, even with a mask, she was certain that this was Lord Kieran.

He was leaning against the massive trunk of a tree, his arms crossed as he looked at her blankly.

"I see that you are finally awake." He said, and Iris's heart hammered upon hearing his voice after two years of separation. She could feel the mating rune on her back reacting to her mate's presence.
