Guan's P.O.V****

Kiss??? My veil??? I saw my veil, it wasn't ripped off, so, he kissed me on the veil, It doesn't matter, thank god! No one saw my face!

What is this b****** doing??? How can he do these stuff? I know I am handsome but not beautiful!!! I am a man!!!!

"You're quite a beauty Mister Beauty.", he said leaning into my face.

"Mister??? You knew I was a man!!! How could you kiss me??", I asked bewildered. No way! I can't accept it. My first kiss which I had saved so preciously for sake of my future cute wife! It is gone??? I am no longer pure!

"That is a wrong dialogue! You should be saying, 'Do you not hate me~'", he said smirking.

I got up, "What the Hell? You kissed me without permission! It isn't right!", I said

"If I get your permission, Can I do more than a kiss?", he said, talking in quite a suggestive manner which would probably leave me blushed if I were a weak hearted female.

But no, I am a man! A strong willed man! But the moment I thought this, the eye makeup smudged and went in my eyes again, a few more tear drops fell, my eyes probably might have turned right. i wonder why women torture themselves. What's with this makeup! It burns.

I don't know why, everyone's expression softened. But, my tears kept on coming, it wasn't stopping. The guy in mask made a move again, he kissed my eyes licking off my tears, I don't know what was weird,

The fact that he tasted my tears, which I know are a mixture of salt and makeup which is bound to burn is mouth like my eyes or the other fact that he is doing all suggestive things with me, a man.

"OOh! Don't cry beauty, I will be responsible for you, but how about you too be responsible, you made me totally aroused you know.", he said

"R--responsible for w--what???", I got scared.

"For this", he said taking my hand... and placed it on his chest, I could feel something, It was something hitting the palm of my hand, It was so fierce, at the same time faint. But the other thing which caught my eye was, his muscles were well developed, so well, that it makes me scared. I felt my hand on his muscles, I was pathetic!

Compared to this guy I would look like a baby boy. His muscles were hard and I could feel they were formed out of heavy practice. His tummy muscles are tight too, but they are getting too tight, I touched his waist, it was sturdy, meaning he practiced with heavy swords or melee weapons, probably a club of sorts? No wonder he carried me easily.

His body lines are good too..---

"Hey beauty, If you want it, you should wait till sunset or till the audience leaves, I appreciate your consent and bravery, I am okay if you want it here, but I would prefer no one sees your disheveled state except for me.....", he said tucking a hair strand behind me.

I didn't quite get what he told, but I then got reminded of my purpose, Jia Li! Where was she?? I looked over to the crowd but she wasn't there.

"Beauty, I would love to chat with you for long, but the play has to go on,", he said.

I was soon off stage and I saw Jia li, she came onto the stage and said the same dialogues she spoke yesterday night. Then it hit me! She came here as an actress! Not cheating on the General.

I asked the lady beside me, somehow they were all enthusiastic to speak with me,

"Which play is this, my lady?", I asked

"The Most Beautiful Person.", she said.

"I never heard of it, is it new? or only popular among ladies?", I asked.

"Yes, It is popular among ladies only, many men find it repulsive and are not as broad minded as you!", she said before going into an asthma attack.

I was about to go out, when Jia Li was about to finish her acting, I went out and was about to change when

"Guan~ What are you doing here~", I heard my name being spelt.

I turned back, it was Jia Li.

"I had followed you out of concern, it was purely out of concern nothing else."

"All right, I will let you go! If you do me a favor", she said.

"What is it?", I asked, somehow, she seemed way more suspicious.

"I need you to serve me every day night in my room.", she said smirking at me.

"But, I can't betray milord ", I said.

"I don't wanna listen anything, If you don't want me to complain to General, tonight come and do whatever I ask you to do.", she said.

She went away without even inviting me too carriage, I changed back into my clothes, and tied up my hair. I really felt way more comfortable in my own clothes.

I went back to the mansion. But, Jia Li hadn't yet arrived. I went back in the market to see where they had stopped. And I saw something, which I couldn't describe well.

Jia Li, was looking a bit longingly and painfully at another guy, upon close look, it was Young Master Peng!

Definitely, I heard they were quite in love with each other, the only people in this world who was treated well, by Peng are his family and Jia Li. He would skip his lessons to hang out with her. He is overall a good person. Except for the fact that the power he holds is quite less.

Something told me, I had to let Jia Li, understand her position by herself. I really do hope she understands that if she makes a move towards him, it would taint not only her honor as a pure noblewoman, but even of the General's mansion.

I kept watching from afar. Jia Li then got up, and was moving toward her carriage, when the b****** Peng, sent a message by a boy. Jia Li's eyes were lit up. I don't know if it was with happiness or fear or what.

I would have left her alone. But, I need to see, if Jia Li, hates Peng or still holds onto him.

"Wait for me here Xin Xin, I will come back in a while.", Jia Li, said as she followed the little boy behind buildings.

I followed her, they went over to an abandoned marketplace, Peng was standing near a tree, with a hair pin, a blue colored one with pearls, How obnoxious! Everyone in this capital knows, The Peng household ladies only have those blue hair pins! The General's Flag is a red one, everyone would know what it meant when General's wife would wear a blue hair pin.

"Have you forgotten me Jia Li? Just because you're married to the most powerful guy in town?", Peng asked Jia Li, with an emotional tone in his voice.

"I haven't forgotten you....", Jia Li said, struggling to choose the best words.

"Then, why are you wearing that hairpin? Why not the one I gave you before? Am I so pathetic that you wouldn't even wear what I gifted you?", he asked again, being more melodramatic

He came closer to her, about to touch her hair and hair pin.

"Please keep your distance, Young Master Peng, For I am not Huo Jia Li anymore, but General Huang Lei's wife, Lei Jia Li.", Jia Li said, going back a few steps.

To be honest. I was proud of her. She is proudly expressing her status, and not being swayed away by him.

"Yes, you are a General's wife now. I guess you too are like others, Loved me, married another due to power. What do I lack which the General has?? An army? He only got the army because he is the son of a General. Except that What do I lack that you easily broke our 10 year engagement and married him so easily as changing clothes??", he said giving an even more dramatic pose, keeping his heart on chest and crocodile tears overflowing in his eyes.

Does he not know? Crocodile tears look genuine and good only on females, on males, it just looks like a pathetic man whining. But to say, if I hadn't known from before of this guy's pathetic character. Maybe I would be swayed. He really is a good actor.

"He has loyalty. Even if he would love another, he would be upright honest with me, and surely ask my permission. Even if he has got many concubines, he would still treat me with respect as he does. Oh! and one more thing, I guess he has a lot of stamina than you, considering he is a soldier. But I didn't expect, he would last that long in bed. I doubt you would." Jia li, said walking away.

"What? You slept with him? Even though you never let me touch you these all years? I can really see that you would do anything to secure ranks for you and your father!", he said trying to hold her hand.

Isn't he going overboard? Is he mad though? Trying to treat a lady with such a rough and dirty hands, I would never accept it.

Somehow, I guess, I feel a bit happy that it is Jia Li who is my master. I guess I shouldn't let her deal with a mad hooligan alone, after all, it is my duty to protect her.

I came in between him and her in a second, though I may not be as strong as those guys from the theatre, I am fast and surely can attack a target in a few seconds. I pointed a sword at his throat and said,

"You are trying to overstep your boundaries, no man other than Milord, the General can come more close to her. Please step back or I would have to execute you with the charge of attempt of intimacy with the lady.", I spoke as my blade almost pierced into his throat. (I am strong) ^u^

"Let's meet again sometime, This conversation is not over.", he said sulking like a baby.

"Milady, you should keep away from such douchebags, especially which stick to-", I turned or not, I saw her, she was crying and shivering.

I guess, she might have really loved him, Does she want to go back to her relationship with Peng? I am unable to understand.

"Milady-"

She hugged me.

I don't know what is wrong with me? Did I get up on a weird side of bed? All the people who shouldn't be showing me affection are the ones doing something affectionate. First that man, now Jia Li.

"Milady, this is inappropriate.", I said, but somehow, I could feel this hug was out of fear rather any affection.

"Milady?", I asked again as she felt heavy on me.

She fainted. I carried her to the carriage. Away from the public eye of course. After reaching home, Milady woke up, had her bath and dinner. Not only me, everyone in the Lady's courtyard could feel it, that she was glum.

The usually disrespectful and disgraceful but cute lady was not there but, a smiling doll. It was night when I came into her room.

"Milady. You called me to serve you", I said.

Soon, She came back to her usual self. she was jumping around in the room, with tacky hairdo, sitting like a man.

"I need your help.", she said grinning.

"Of course, I will if it is under my principles."

"Oh! It is in your principles and whatnot. I just needed a review, You know how to read right?", she said with her eyes gleaming.

"Yes, of course, a review for what exactly?", I asked confused, I am damn sure, whenever people have those eyes, it is bound to be something dangerous.

"A BL Novel!", she said showing me two books.

"A what Novel? Bl? what does it mean?", I asked.

"Oh hohoho~ you are an innocent person eh? I guess I need to ruin another pure another angel.... Bl means Boy's love", she said, somehow she resembled a demon.

"Boy's love? a collection of men's love stories? I never knew men like romance that much?", I asked

"no no, you are missing the point, It is not men's love stories, but the tale of forbidden love.", she said striking a dramatic pose, with her hands up in air as if she was asking god, the window behind her completed the scene.

"Forbidden? Isn't love commonly seen out, how is it forbidden?"

"It is a love, a passionate and true one, between two men."

"Oh! I get it, a love between men. But isn't that friendship?", I asked still confused.

"I can't explain it to a single with no history of relationship, they can never get it!", she said putting her hand on her head.

"It can't be helped. I will show you, You can realize it by reading. So here, Do you remember today's play? the one in which you dressed way too good. That play is based on this book."

"This book? oh! its a signed copy! I like signed copies, they make me feel I am holding something precious."

"You too read novels? I never knew.", She asked sitting across the room in another table.

"I too read whenever I am free, But tell me, what character you played in this.", I said.

"The main character, Qing yuan, is the masked guy. You played the role of the main male lead, the opposite to Qing Yuan, his lover, Xiao Fei. I played the role of his stalker, the delusional minor-villain, Ming Ming. Got it?", she asked yawning.

"I shall read it tonight. Thank you for introducing me to a new thing, Bl. I don't know whether I will enjoy it but I will let you know. Please sleep Milady.", I said and exited through the window.

I don't understand what is Bl, but I can feel it is going to be one nice romance novel, unlike all the other ones.

****Jia Li's P.O.V****

Today was hectic and fun. The moment I saw Guan, I could tell what he thinks of me. That I am probably a stuck up noblewoman with the backing of a marquis. He isn't the first one. but seeing him more, I can tell, he is rather sweet. It took me just an hour to know he is just too much loyal to the General.

The day, he was appointed. I got an invite, from the author of Qing yuan's novels. They would be conducting a play, and would like me to join as the character of Ming Ming. I was so happy. They had announced that they would be doing a play of one of his novel, but that never came. Always due to some or the other reason, it would get cancelled.

Apparently the author is a busy person. I went to the play, I was confident, because I know Guan was still following me. But I didn't expect he would sneak in, that too dressed up as the male lead.

And they kissed too!! I had never actually seen it live, but painting, and it was awesome! If only Guan loved men too, I would totally support him. But I guess there is no harm shipping them in my mind.

Guan, did something great. The character of the male lead, was always vague, the details except for dark brown hair anything else was not mentioned. Which made it tough for people to imagine, but Guan who had dark brown hair upto the same length as mentioned in the novel satisfied all.

All was fine until that ******** appeared. I wish I could kill him. His unclear words made me almost fall into his trap again. I should be strong. I should be able to say I don't like you. But it is a bit difficult. I liked him. Though I never accepted it. I liked him a lot.

Now, that I am married. I shouldn't stay in my past feelings. Anyway, it wasn't that he was serious with me. He just needed a doll, a one with power is preferable, to cover up his incestious behavior.

I am open to all love, as long as it is love. I have heard stories of incest, where a brother and sister fall for each other truly. Though it is something uncommon, it is love. I don't have any bias feelings. But, he, is a scum. He has incestious relations with not one of his sisters but all of them.

The next time we meet, I surely am gonna make it clear, that I am General Huang Lei's wife, Lei Jia Li, that I wouldn't betray my General.

I started changing into my nightwear. I took out all my dress layers! Damn! That was a hassle. I was in my nightwear. The night wear is the best! It is free and only one layer, it even shows off my beautiful curves(I don't have much, but I have a bit)

I looked into the mirror and said it aloud, as practice to be confident

"I am General Huang Lei's wife, Lei Jia Li, I love him as much as I love myself and will always be his woman.", That got me goosebumps, General's name surely has power.

Yeah! I dissed Peng right? What did I even say? Ha!

" I guess he has a lot of stamina than you, considering he is a General. But I didn't expect, he would last that long in bed. Unlike you, a weakling"

Ha! Really men do feel inferiority complex in terms of bed. Thank you Qing yuan! For in your novels I have learnt these!

" I don't think you know about my stamina, How about we check it tonight? To see if I really last as long as you say."

I turned back and it was Huang Lei, acting smug, with a smirk on his face and leaning onto the window. I covered up myself, and asked

"what are yo-u doing here General?", I asked.

"What does a husband do in his wife's room? I don't know, you answer me", he said while coming closer and he kept his hand around my waist.
