5 "Excitement"

Kate's Pov

School went by fine for a week and it was Saturday now. I was excited cause no school. I really hated school....sigh. I woke up around 10, wore my orange shorts and black sport bra. I went straight to Amy's room through the door that connected our rooms together. She was still in bed sleeping peacefully like a baby, I moved closer to her and touched her face(I am not a lesbian 😁😁). I just love Amy. I turned to go back to my room.

"Best" Amy called me. She calls me that alot

"Yes" I said turning back to look at her

"I miss them" she said in a very sad tone. I walked to her and I sat down folding my right leg.

"I know, I know. I miss them too" I said while pulling her into a hug. Immediately I did that, she started crying.

"Shhhh, it's going to be alright" I told her feeling sad myself. I hate seeing her like this, it makes me upset thinking about the day her parents car crashed and took their lives. It's been years now but we both still miss them. Her parents took good care of us. Her parents were my parents too.

After what felt like hours staying in Amy's room and putting her back to sleep. I went down the stairs to get food.

"Good morning, Olivia" I greeted my favourite morning person

"Good morning sweetie" Olivia said given me a hug

"Sure you slept well" I asked still in the hug

"Yes, my darling. Trust you did as well" she said and gave me a peck on my cheeks. I have known Olivia all my life, she is a mother to me and her son Josh is like my baby brother. Josh is 10 years.

We were 21 living in the house but George left and now we are 20, we have My parents, Kendell, Amy, Olivia, Josh, Ruth, David, 3 Housekeepers, 4 Gardners, 2 Gatekeepers, 4 Drivers.

"Yes, I did" I replied

"Where is Amy, you both are the real twin in this house" she said whispering the last part. I laughed a little

"She isn't feeling too good. She is resting" i said not wanting to worry Olivia

"What do you want for breakfast" she asked

"Cereal is fine, thank you" I replied

"Okay dear" she answered with a smile. I hate stressing Olivia. I ate my cereal in peace until my phone vibrated right next to me.

Noah's Pov

I woke up feeling really happy cause it's Saturday. I wanted to go out with my friends. I missed my gem already. I took out my phone to send a text to Kate.

Me:

Hey gem

Gem:

Hey Noah

Me:

How was your night

Gem:

Fine, thank you

How was your night

Me:

Fine, also

Are you free today

Gem:

I don't know, I will get back to you

Me:

Okay, bye

Gem:

Bye

I felt sad cause I wanted to go out with her but not like a date, just for fun.

Kate's Pov

I got a text from Noah. My girly self was so happy, I mean she was so excited and all. It made me really happy but I didn't want to ditch Amy. I finished my food fast and I went to check on her. Getting to her room, she was all dressed up. She was wearing her pink shorts and a tan top without a bra.

"Hey best" I said, getting closer to her

"Hey" she said

"How are you feeling now" I asked sitting on her bed

"Better, I guess" she said

"You guess" I said looking right into her eye

"Yes, I guess. Charlie wants to take me out" she told me. She stood up from her bed and walked to her dresser.

"That's good" I replied

"What should I wear" she asked looking a bit annoyed. I stood up from her bed and walked over to her dresser.

"Well, you can wear a black ripped jeans and blue crop top. Did he tell you where he was taking you" I asked her

"No, he said it was a surprise" she replied

"Okay then. This should be fine" I told her

"Thanks best. You're the best" she said and pulled me into a hug, I hugged her back.

"I have something to tell you" I said

"What's that" she said looking a bit worried

"Noah asked me if I was free tod..." I said without finishing my sentence cause Amy had to just interrupt me

"Oh My God. That's super romantic, you've been waiting for a date with him since like forever. I am so sure you said yes" she said without breathing. I looked over at her like she was crazy or something. I like the fact that she is really excited.

"I didn't really give him an answer cause of what happened this morning. I didn't want to leave you all by yourself" I told her

"Nonsense" she said, am I the only one that's not surprised about her behaviour

"I really want to go" I said looking all excited

"You're going to text him now and tell him you're going and he should come get you in an hour" she said dragging me to my room. We got to my room, I brought out my phone and texted Noah real quick, he said okay.

"He said okay" I told Amy

"Good, so sit. I am going to do your make but not much and we get to pick your outfit, deal" she said the last part more of a question

"Deal" I replied, she did my make up has promised, picked my outfit.

"Done" she said. I looked myself straight in the mirror

"Damn" I said the only word that could escape my lips

"Told ya, I have to go before I am late for my date. Bye best. Have fun and don't make babies" she said.

"Bye. Same goes to you too" I said and hugged her.
