My Phone…

Lisa walked through the hallway, and the instant she took a turn, she bumped into Diana, who was looking for her everywhere.

"Ouch!" They both hissed and rubbed their foreheads.

Diana raised her head, and on seeing that it was Lisa, she hurriedly pulled her into a tight hug.

"Lisa!! Where the fuck have you been?!" She asked with deep apprehension in her tone, and Lisa drew back from the hug to look at her.

"I went to the bathroom, but..." Her eyes blinked rapidly, unsure of how to explain.

"What's wrong?" Diana arched her brow on seeing the hesitant look on her face, but Lisa, however, shook her head and grabbed her by the wrist.

"Let's go back to your room." She said to her, but Diana snatched her hand back.

"Did something happen to you? I thought you wanted to have fun." She asked, and a deep breath exited Lisa's nose.

"Diana , it's almost dawn and they will be here to pick me up soon. So let's just go." She turned around and began to walk towards the elevator.

Diana narrowed her eyes into a thin line and followed after her.

The elevator took them upstairs, and they stepped out when the door pulled open.

They made their way towards the room and walked in, then shut the door behind them.

Two hours plus a few minutes later, Delarcy's workers arrived back in the building.

Lisa, who was about to follow them out, halted and turned to Diana.

A pessimistic smile ensued on her face, and she immediately rushed towards Diana, hugging her more tightly than she had ever done before.

"I will miss you so much!" She said and Diana, who felt so warm in her heart, hugged her back as she melted completely into the embrace.

"I will miss you too." Her eyes watered up, and Lisa pulled back from the hug.

She gently cleaned off the tears and placed a soft kiss on her forehead.

"Be safe, alright. Bye…" She smiled at her and, together with the female bodyguards, she walked out of the apartment and shut the door behind her.

Diana's heart dropped to her stomach and that strange feeling of being alone overwhelmed her.

She took deep breaths and walked into the bathroom.

She took her shower and walked out, then pulled the closet door open to see that different sets of clothing had been arranged for her.

"Wow." She half smiled and picked out a nice nightgown.

She slid into it and laid down on the bed.

She took deep breaths and shut her eyes, ready for sleep.

Tomorrow was the day and she needed to be prepared mentally.

A slight smile formed on her face, and she slowly drifted off to sleep.

.. (11:42 pm).

Diana abruptly woke up and vigorously shook her head.

"Fuck fuck! My human feelings." Her supernatural side, which is now under control, cursed and buried her face in her knees.

She was finally going to meet him tomorrow, and honestly, she doubted she would be able to hold back her anger.

Yes, she knows Damon, the wealthiest man in the whole world, or better yet, the devil.

He had done something despicable to her, and her main goal, as of the time being, is revenge.

That scar of deep grudge engraved in her heart must be cleaned off, and for it to be cleaned off, she must get her revenge.

However, doing that will be quite hard for her because her human side, her human intellect, which she has yet to merge with, has no single bit of her memory. No, the memory of a certain time.

Since birth till now, she had been trying to merge completely with her human part so she could control her human emotions, but it had been so impossible.

All she had managed to do was merge a bit, which gave her the ability to use her supernatural powers. Well, not all of them, but a little bit of them.

She honestly does not understand why she was so unlucky to be born in such a weak body that makes it difficult for her to merge, and not only that, but she had to endure the agony of watching herself cry when that bastard calling himself her father tortured her.

And that's not even what hurts her the most. The most painful of all is that she can't even retort and teach him a huge lesson because she had to be born in a human body.

Her hands balled into a tight fist and she took several deep breaths to calm herself down.

You know what, maybe it's just that she hadn't been trying hard enough.

This time around, she will let her supernatural senses lead her since it seems that her human emotions make her do things that annoy her.

Who knows, this might be the only way for her to merge completely, because as of this moment, she seems like a person with two people living inside of her, while she is just one person, but the problem is that, being reborn with her past being and memories, her personality seems to have been spilt apart due to unbalance,

So now, she has to merge together to be able to control both emotions.

She has a deep hatred for Damon, but her human emotions and intellect, which do not have even a single memory of back then, are unable to cooperate with her and therefore have no ill intent towards Damon.

So this is the reason why her dark side needs to be in control.

Honestly, it's as though her human intellect is the pure side of her while her supernatural intellect is the dark side of her. Well, not really dark as in dark dark.

She quickly shook her head in annoyance and glanced at the mini table to grab her phone, but on not seeing it there, her brows instantly crumpled.

"My phone..."
