3 Way Forward

Living for thousands years in the higher realms, in order to find some solution to surpass his lack of talent and low-level cultivation, Katai collected many cultivation techniques from the simplest and most widespread to the most obscure, unpopular and doubtful; he hasn't only collected techniques, but also, several other cultivation methods of different civilizations and races.

Many of the cultivation methods that he had access to, completely disregarded the spiritual root as a necessary requirement for cultivate. In fact, in the higher realms, spiritual root methods was at the bottom of ranks. Not exactly because it was a bad method, but because it was very unproductive, it depended too much on the "luck" factor.

Unless you were born possessing a powerful spiritual root, it would be very improbable that you could have any conquest.

Spiritual root methods focused entirely on cultivating only the spiritual root of the practitioner, passing through the stages: IQ Condensation, Primary Root, Silver Root, Gold Root, Mystic Root, Celestial Root, Divine Root, until finally reaching ascension to the spiritual realm.

Even after ascension the practitioner don't end up with the cultivation of your spiritual root, so the practitioner would be very limited and dependent on his natural abilities.

Unless one possessed a strong spiritual root, this method would be very strict and unproductive.

Since Katai, who collected a real library on his mind, possessed thousands of different cultivation methods and manuals in his memory, there was no reason to go through so much trouble and tribulation again by cultivating such a flawed and rotten method.

After deciding that he wouldn't follow the same tortuous path of his former life, he went into a deep contemplation.

He obviously decided to enter the cultivation path again, it was a cruel and selfish world, but it was the only lifestyle that he knew. Besides, there were many regrets in his life; he didn't want to see everything happen again before his eyes in impotence. This time he wanted everything, he wanted to preserve everything that had been originally took away from him, this time, without any mistakes or delays.

Katai then began to think about which cultivation method that could be the best choice for him to practice. It should be known that there were hundreds of thousands universes only in the mortal plane, each one with its own peculiarities and races. Some methods were not viable because they required lineage or race requirements, he automatically discarded those, don't will make sense trying cultivate something like that.

He also began to discard all the methods that were classified in the bottom of the pyramid in matters of achievement, he already had a good taste in one or two of these mediocre cultivation methods in his past life, Katai left only the most popular, powerful and promising.

While he mentally sifted and discarded the unpopular cultivation methods, he went through a specific unpopular system that made him get lost in thought.

The more he thought about this particular method more excited he was with his own idea, his eyes began to glow with enthusiasm. A wild and crazy idea began to sprout and gain form in his mind. The more he thought in this, more passionate that idea became for him.

When one ascended from the mortal plane for the spiritual realm, was quite normal for they to come to know about other beings from different worlds and universes scattered throughout all mortal plane's. This would also be the first time they would be exposed to the fact and discovery the existence of other cultivation methods and learn that the way to the heavens are multiple.

However, after ascension their cultivation methods would already be totally integrated and linked with their own souls and existences, thus preventing them from changing for others cultivation methods, even if they found some that suited better. Few would be as crazy as Katai and would put their own lives at risk by trying to train different methods. Besides, after ascending to the higher realms everything would be meaningless, that's because the methods would be unified into a single norm.

In short, all roads lead to the same place.

Of course, the advantages and peculiarities that were developed previously by their respective methods would still be preserved and would have impact, but the form of cultivation would be the same for all.

However, Katai hadn't begun to cultivate yet, he could choose the best method for him, not only that, he decided that before reaching the ascension would overlap several systems, one over the other, thus maximizing the results. There were several cultivation methods that complement each other, if he could grow them in the right and parallel order, the results in the future would be unimaginable.

It is not as if no one had thought of doing something similar, but for others, doing something like that was far beyond the impossible.

First, even if they collected various cultivation methods to overlap them, those who would cultivate couldn't be themselves but some relative or disciple. Second, would be necessary to have a immense talent to boost the cultivation, to gain enlightenment and insight in more than one different method. Third, should have a colossal perception to unravel the mysteries hidden in more than one way of immortality and last but not least important, great amount of resources.

The prerequisites were too high.

But for Katai this wasn't a limitation, even if he didn't have immense talent or perception, he had thousands years of experience and enlightenment in the secrets of law and immortality, as well as his memory of treasures, hidden realms and inheritances that were discovered and conquered by others.

All this would belong to him in this life.
