4 Chapter 4- Revenge

The next morning--

"Wei-er!" Xie Mei called.

Wang Wei slowly opened his eyes. He didn't train all night, but at least half it, he did. The sun was shining on his face through a small window facing the front on the cottage.

"You're going to be late for the grand opening!" Xie Mei called again.

Wang Wei looked alarmed. "It's today? Yes! It's finally open. I must be one of the first ones to get there." He jumped out of his bed and quickly got dressed in some of the nicer clothes he had. He then bolted out the door, not even eating breakfast, and started to head towards the town square.

Today, it was the opening of an apothecary store called "Heaven's Call."

Outside of Horn's Peak and throughout the entire Blue Continent, it is a very famous shop that is known for selling high quality cultivating materials, whether it be herbs, pills, furnaces, or other useful items.

When Wang Wei arrived, it was very crowded with people. Each person had at least one of their hands up, with profound stones in them. Wang Wei was confused at this scene until he looked at the signboard above Heaven's Call. He cursed.

"Entry fee 1 blue profound stone or 100 green profound stones. NO EXCEPTIONS" was what the signboard read.

In this world, the currency is profound stones. Each stone color has a different value. Starting from the lowest they are green, blue, purple, yellow, and red. Each color is made up of 100 stones of the previous color. Since profound stones are made of energy, it is possible to merge 100 profound stones of the same color to create a higher tier stone. They can also be broken down to get the 100 from the previous color. This is to avoid having to carry large amounts of each profound stone color.

Wang Wei was looking forward to the opening of Heaven's Call, so for a long time, he was saving up his weekly allowance of 10 green profound stones. The entry fee alone would take more than three months of his savings. He only had three blue profound stones, two came from saving up, and one came from Xie Mei as a gift.

From behind him, he heard a voice, "Well, look who it is. The dirt that thought too highly of himself. Since your here, that means you have some profound stones right? Give them to me and I won't beat you up today." Wang Wei turned around to see Wang Fu smiling at him.

"Oh? Lucky me!" Wang Wei thought.

"Well? Are you going to give them to me? Or maybe you're going to call mommy," Wang Fu said.

Wang Wei snickered. "You're just jealous that I have a decent mom, considering your mother abandoned you. I am starting to see why she did that and felt no remorse."

Wang Fu's smile faded. "I gave you a chance, but you didn't take it. Don't ask for my mercy." Then, he threw a basic punch at Wang Wei. Wang Wei however, didn't move and calmly slapped away the fist that was heading towards him.

"Advanced-stage 3?!" Wang Fu was startled. "So that's what gave you the confidence to go against me. Watch as I destroy your hopes and crush your bones!" he yelled. This time, he took the stance of Lion's Fist and used his full power to throw a punch.

Wang Wei furrowed his brows and took the stance of One with the Wind. He chose to throw his punch exactly were Wang Fu's fist was and they collided.

Wang Fu was about to laugh, as Lion's Fist was known for its brute strength, but instead, his fist along with his entire body was blown away!

Wang Wei was surprised. He knew that after absorbing the pure qi, his body became much stronger and his training speed skyrocketed. That's why he was confident in defeating Wang Fu.

Wang Fu was also surprised... just not in the same way. The brat he used to beat up and make fun of, actually beat him in a straight confrontation! How could he accept such a thing?

"Well, look who it is. The dirt that thought too highly of himself. Give me all of your profound stones and I won't beat you up, as long as you don't go messing with me of course," Wang Wei mocked.

Wang Fu clenched his teeth. The humiliation! The words he said were just said to him, but this time the words actually meant something! Wang Fu realized that he could not go against Wang Wei anymore, and coughed up four blue profound stones. As Wang Fu started to walk away, Wang Wei spoke.

"Wait!"

"Is something wrong?" Wang Fu asked trying to be polite.

"Yeah, there is. You haven't given me all of your profound stones. I know that you go around bullying many people. On your way here you must have collected more money than this. I will give you one more chance to give me all you have, or I might have to ask using my fists," Wang Wei smiled.

"Wang Wei! Don't go too far! If you let me off, I will let bygones be bygones and swear that I won't mess with you!" Wang Fu said angrily.

"I guess that you need some convincing. Don't say that I didn't give you a chance," Wang Wei said while cracking his knuckles.

"Damn it!! Fine! Take my stupid profound stones. That's all I have, now leave me alone!" Wang Fu threw a pouch at Wang Wei, before running off.

"Remember that you gave it to me and I didn't steal from you!" Wang Wei called while easily catching the pouch. When he opened it, he was very glad he made the choice of 'accepting' Wang Fu's gift. There were 13 blue profound stones inside!

"How many people did he rob in order to gather this much? Hehe, all his efforts were for naught, as he gave them all to me," Wang Wei said with a big smile on his face. "Well, time to pay that entry fee."

Wang Wei made the line to enter Heaven's Call. It took over an hour just to see doors, and another hour to be able to talk to a guard standing by the entrance.

"1 blue or 100 green profound stones to enter! No exceptions! If you don't have the payment, don't waste my time and SCRAM!" one of the bigger guards shouted.

He looked at Wang Wei and stretched out his hand. "Payment," he said coldly.

After paying, Wang Wei was able to enter Heaven's Call. When the doors opened, he took in a deep breath.

It was massive!
