28 What is Business?

Waking up from my sleep, I saw the kids sleeping peacefully next to Emma. I smiled and checked the clock to see it was still 4 am. I left the hotel and began to jog near the hotel, "Rose, I need a house and prepare some extra guards to help Jax out," took a few seconds before Rose replied, "Yes Master, would you like extra suits?".

I thought about it for a second "Yes, white suits with red shirts." Ending our conversation I went back to the hotel, it was 6 am now, and at 8 I needed to be at the university to begin the first class with the students. Opening the curtains I said in a calm voice "Rise and shine, wake up and get dressed all of you." Emma was first to wake up while the children took a few minutes, they got washed up, I wore my suit as Emma put my tie on.

I heard a knocking on the door, "Who is it?" I said calmly, "It's me, boss!" Jax's voice came behind the door. "Prepare the car, we are taking the kids to see their mother." After we were all finished, we left the hotel and arrived at the hospital, we were welcomed by various people, I nodded to them and took the children to their mother.

It was 7:30 and I had enough time to spare, knocking on the VIP room, Angela's voice came from inside "Come in." We all entered and were greeted by Angela who was sitting on her bed, "Mom!"x2 the children shouted as they ran to their mother and hugged her before crying.

"Hello Angela" I entered as Emma followed from behind, "Hi" Emma greeted. Angela greeted us back and told us to sit down. "Emma, this is someone that was with me in the orphanage, she was a bright girl! Haha!" I told Emma about the history between us, and she felt amused as she listened.

"I will leave you both here, and I will pick you guys up once I finish university, we can go to my new home," I told them with a smile before leaving the hospital, and as I walked out I saw Jax leaning on the car smoking. I took out the packet but didn't find any cigs inside, "Jax, give me a cig" Jax gave me a cig and entered the car. Lighting up the cig, Jax drove to the university.

At 7:50 we were at the university, "Jax, protect them at the hospital, leave a few guards inside and watch outside the hospital" I left a word to Jax before entering the university with glasses. I went to the dean's office and asked him where my lecture would be, he told me to follow him as a few professors were interested in the lecture.

We reached a large hall where 500 students were inside chatting, one of them were Cao. I entered the lecture and stood up at the large wooden stand while the professors who were following me sat at the back end of the hall. I took off my glasses and waited for silence when they saw me they were shocked, but after they saw my serious face, they knew that I was here to teach.

"Hello everyone" I greeted them with a smile, everyone greeted me back and sat straight opening their books. I saw a chair on the side and pushed it to give me more space for pacing.

"Close your books, my lectures won't include useless materials," I said with a cold voice, the dean and professors were shocked but thought it was plausible. "Within this semester I want everyone to remember a few points" I looked around as I stood straight, "Do not ask useless questions."

I looked at everyone who were shocked, smiling I continued "Do not question what I say, think about it," people began to look serious, "Instead of thinking this is a lecture… think about it as if it is real work".

I smiled and clapped my hands once, "First lesson, what is business?" I went to the chalkboard behind me and wrote three words. (Money), (Fame) and (Domination).

"Some of you are wondering, what is business?" I looked around and my face changed from a smile to a cold face "Business is a warzone, an indirect way of fighting… A place where the hard workers will reach great heights" I paced back and forth, "People that think will reach great heights, that is if they believe in themselves."

I stood up and pointed my first finger up "Number one, race, sex, nationality, ethnicity, language, religion, or any other status doesn't have any advantages in business." Looking around I pulled the other finger up, "Number two, Success is not final, failure is not fatal, It is the courage to continue that counts" (Winston S. Churchill)

As two fingers were up, the third followed "There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure."(Colin Powell) The dean, professors and the student stood up and clapped.

I waited 10 seconds while standing, "Silence, sit down" I waved at them without smiling. I will talk about many aspects of the business world, but first I want to know from you guys, "What is business." I pointed a geek looking guy sitting on the front. "State your name and answer my question."

"Yes, Sir! My name is Fu Gang, business is a world of struggle over who benefits the most!", I smiled and said, "That is only the tip of the iceberg, business is more than that, we are talking about how it affects our life aspects."

Stopping in my tracks, I looked at the dean "Dean Hu, what are the two most important things in business?", The dean smiled and replied "Needs and wants." I nodded my head, "What if I told you most of our wants are becoming needs due to the intervention of technology." I sighed and continued for an hour before the lecture ended. All of the students ended up clapping for me as I waited for them to leave but no one left.

"I will excuse myself, I need to get some breakfast… haha!" leaving the class, I went to the cafeteria and got me some food before finding a table and sitting at it. Ignoring the looks of the others, I took out my phone, "Rose, the beta should start within a few minutes right?", Waiting for a second Rose replied "5 minutes". I nodded and called Jax "Boss!", I smiled "Jax, have the kids and Emma eaten yet?".

"Yes, boss! They are currently eating with Angela", I nodded "Get your men some food and keep up the good work!". I closed the phone and began eating.

At 1 pm, I left the university and thankfully Jax had someone waiting outside to pick me up. Arriving at the hospital I picked up everyone and left for the house, it was 20 minutes away from the university, a simple house with all the necessities needed. Entering the house, everyone was excited, I called Yu and told her to come and live her with her son.

The house was filled, and everyone was happy, except me. "Jax, take me to the police station" Leaving everyone behind, I gave them an excuse and went to the police station. I already informed them, and when I reached, I entered through the backdoor.

A cop was waiting there who guided me to the man, I stood outside of the cell and looked at him. "Take him to the interrogation room." I went to a room near the cell, and after they handcuffed Angela husband, they took him to the room and put him on the chair. He was shouting and trying every method to attack me. I waved at the cop to leave, Jax stood behind me while he had his hand on the pistol.

I placed the phone in the middle, "Rose, Translate my words, would you like to experience hell?" I looked at the man as Rose translated. The man face changed, but it was only for a second before he continued shouting, Rose translated it "Do you think I can't do anything to you?! Do you know who I am?! Where is my lawyer?!".

A dark smile appeared on my face, I poked the table once, and a hole appeared on it. The man who was watching and the cops outside were shocked. "I will buy your life and make it hell" I stood up, and Jax stayed, walking out I talked to the police director and walked behind the glass to see some entertainment.

"Jax, do it" I smiled and stood up watching this, screams came from the room, and it kept getting louder and louder. There was only me behind the glass, this is the real world of business. I stood up and knocked the glass once before leaving. Jax followed after ending the loud screams and prepared a car for me, "Good job, take me back home."
