Sleeping on the floor has been something I am fond of, a bed is only to relax but for me relaxing is not an option. I was too tired yesterday to notice anything as I went to sleep immediately without thinking about anything. Waking up from my sleep I saw a familiar face next to me, turns out Emma was sleeping next to me…

"Morning, Ace" Emma who was awake said to me with a smile, damn I have no experience in romance! Why is she blushing too much?

"Morning Emma, what are you doing here?" I asked with curiosity, but she simply turned more crimson. "I am sorry, I… just wanted to see you sleep."

I can feel the pain already coming my way, looking at the watch on my hand I noticed it was 3 am. "Go sleep on the bed Emma, I need to leave for a while" Walking out the room, Emma held my hands to stop me, "Wait, I know what I did is bad but I… liked you since the day you helped me out."

"Emma, I will give you a response later, not now, now is not the good time" As I said those words, her eyes became misty, "I understand" she went back in the room and lied on the bed.

"Sigh, Emma I am not a hero nor am I a villain, I know you had feelings for me but now is not the good time" I muttered to myself as I left. Leaving the house I went to the private plane, seeing Rose waiting for me next to the plane I said "Rose, I am going alone this time. I will deal with something fast, and we will meet at the Guild for the VR launch, I won't be late."

I walked onto the plane and sat in my usual seat, I might need to create a private vehicle for me which will take me where I want. The teleporter is only for missions, sigh. "You can take off now to Mexico," I said to the stewardess who was standing next to me.

The flight took us 4 hours, leaving the plane a private car was waiting for me. The car dropped me in the middle of nowhere in El Paso, I took out a fox mask to wear then began walking towards a mansion and entered it. "Stop, identify yourself," A muscular Colombian said to me, "Emperor" without stopping I continued walking towards the second floor and entered the only room on the second floor.

Noticing that no one was there, I went towards the chair near the window and sat on it. Looking at the watch it was 12 pm, the VR launch is at 12 am which means I got time. A few men with guns entered the room, "The boss is on his way" the Columbian said as he smirked. I turned the chair to face the window and looked at the wilderness outside.

A few minutes have passed until all of the men went to the side, and the boss entered. "Emperor, it is such a good occasion that you have honored us with!" The thin man said as he walked towards the table and opened a box which contained white powder in it. "Would you like some Emperor?" he smiled as he sniffed some of the white powder."

Still facing the window, I replied in a cold voice "Gustavo, oh Gustavo… you know why I am here?", Gustavo looked around and replied "Of course, you want something? Hahahaha!" As he looked around and laughed with his men.

My smile widened coldly "You know what I hate the most? Cockroaches, like you", Gustavo face changed "Emperor, you know I did nothing to deserve that" he looked shaken.

"No one fucks with me Gustavo, no one…" turning my chair I noticed that Gustavo had a gun pointed at me, "What will you do now? Hahaha!" before he could finish laughing he noticed all his men pointing their guns at him. "Loyalty is but a word in my dictionary Gustavo" Walking towards him by going around the table and then holding his gun. "A nice toy you have here" I took it away from him and shot both his legs.

"Please, don't kill me! I have mon…" BANG! He fell on the ground lifeless, I threw away the gun. "You, take care of the organization" pointing at the muscular Colombian man. I left the house, and there was a helicopter waiting for me, I jumped inside "Take me back to the airport."

Remembering granny An words I smiled, "There will never be good without bad and no bad without good." Entering the plane, I merely went towards my seat and noticed there were papers that I requested Rose before. The flight will take 8 hours which means at 11 pm I will be in Dubai.

The flight took off, and I began to read the papers in front of me, shockingly it was about Emma. I was interested in her past, what did she go through, this was something I asked Rose a day ago before the confession.

Emma, Age 22, Born in the Philippines, father is from Sweden origins and mother is from the Philippines. Abandoned at the age of 1 after the divorce of her parents and taken care off by the grandmother of her father side. Lived most of her life suppressed by her father family side and bullied in school. She attempted suicide twice but failed which led her to eat over the limit and gain weight from stress and pressure. Age of 17 graduate schools and entered the Linnaeus University, finished university at the age of 21 with a 4.0 GPA. She left home to work on news channels, but as she was fat, she was given a small job. Meeting her was something no one expected, and when she was given a high position in the company, a lot of companies tried to investigate her…

Good job Rose! I nodded and laid back on the chair, I looked out of the window and thought about a lot of things, what will do next? Where are my parents? Why am I different from the others? Who am I?

As I kept thinking, the time flew, and we finally reached Dubai. I changed into my white suit and left the plane, a car was ready for me which I entered and was driven off towards my company. As I arrived, I looked at the logo of the company and smiled before entering. AG which confused the people because the company name was Guild.

"Boss, your companions have been sent to the VIP room," A young office lady said to me, "Where is Rose?" I asked with a smile, "Waiting behind the stage." Going backstage I heard noise beyond what I expected, but it seems like the people waiting for this mystery are too many to count. "Rose!" Waving at her while she was commanding the staff.

"Everything is ready Master" Rose replied, "Thanks Rose, we have 30 minutes right?" I asked Rose. "Yes Master" She fixed her glasses after pausing for a moment. "I will go meet my companions fast haha!" Going towards the VIP rooms, a lot of people noticed me and greeted me. Most of them were world class business men, but they were nothing here.

"Rag, Ele, Yama and Emma, I am back!" I entered the room before greeting them. All of them were covered with a hood, "Master," "Ace," "Hmph." We sat down to chat for a while before I went back to Rose, "Rose, is everything ready?" I asked Rose, and she nodded. A Machine was sitting in the middle of the stage which was covered. The curtains separating me and the world, I began walking to the stage, but I didn't allow them to raise the curtains yet.

I took in a deep breath and nodded, the curtains slowly rise while the lights filled the stage. I waited for a few seconds till everyone was silent, the news people were ready to take pictures and the stream… full of emotes.

I stood still and looked at them for a second before speaking, "Sometimes I wanted to escape, find a way to become better but my body was tied up here…" Pointing at the ground, I slowly said, "I look at myself from time to time, where is my friends, my people, my family… but no one can answer that question" Sighing I began to pace back and forth.

"Well, I solved a few of those problems in my life, I believe some of you investigated my past haha!" I said with a smile, "You see, I only wanted one thing… my world" My voice suddenly became cold.

The people were confused, some shocked and others were standing up excited. Cameras flashed for a few seconds but stopped.

"After the hard work of many people, we have finally created the world first Virtual Reality Machine!".
