The man reached the bar and threw the kid inside before looking at the shocked bartender lady behind the bar. "Get me some bandages fast…" The man said as he took a bottle of whiskey from the bar and walked towards the kid on the ground that had a pale face.

The lady came back with bandages and gave it to the man taking a giant sip from the whiskey bottle. "Life is precious boy, you might not know now but one day in the future you will grow up and become someone big, a strong man with a wife, a man that protects what he wants to protect…"

Slowly the turned the bottle upside down and pulled the child arms before spilling all of the content on the child's arm.

"Ahh!" The child screamed in agony as the old man held his hand and began to apply the bandages on his arm. "Remember this, if you ever feel like the world betrayed you… smile at the world itself and tell it to not regret it later on".

The child looked at the man with fascination as he forgot the pain on his arms.

The man stood up and threw away the boy out of the bar and looked at the boy one more time before saying "Do not follow my path boy-"

The entire building blew up and the kid was sent flying towards the wall in the alley and after that, he fell unconscious.
