48 Life and time
Opening the pc in the tavern, I smiled and looked at the screen. Using every single question limit I had with the system, I obtained every single answer I needed. I made enough preparations, I also made calculations on how many will become strong… deaths will flood the entire world.
"Hollow, 4C3 mask," I said in a low voice, "Yes brother" Hollow laughed as he changed my face into a black mask with one eye hole and a horn opposite side of it. Marks began to appear on the mask, it is called Runes, something I obtained after mastering smithing. "Asura"...
"Big Brother" The arms appeared from behind my back and each one of them held a separate aura, "System, time left?"
[24 hours, 10 minutes, 04 seconds]
Looking at the time, I waited… I was wearing the tattered wraith set again. I upgraded it into a level 100 item. The upgrade was beyond my expectation, "Wraith, are you having a good time?".
"Yes Master" A figure appeared next to me, a shy little girl covered in tattered clothes same as mine. My greatest, creation. I nodded at her with a smile before patting her head, "Are you ready?" I said to her with a worried face.
"I am ready" She released a bit of her killing intent as a deeper shadow appeared from behind, at first it looks like a blur but later it changes to the face of a devil angry. "Good, go eat some breakfast, we will end this in 5 minutes"
[24 hours, 5 minutes, 11 seconds]
"Ok, master" She saw the food I cooked and hoped happily towards it.
"Master, we have prepared everything," Rose said as she entered the tavern. "Good job, does all the taverns have the second gen cards?" I asked.
"Yes, we have already activated all the barriers in the 99 zones we have chosen, the game will close in 3 minutes while all of our companions are sitting in their taverns" Rose continued to report and finally 1 minute was left.
"You can go back now," I said with a calm voice. "Yes, master"
The time was ticking, time to reveal my identity to the world. "Going live in 10 seconds"
Taking a deep breath, My eyes shined, the runes on the mask moving slowly randomly, my muscles become tight. Focus! I slapped my face once and looked at the camera that began recording to every single screen in the world, no one can bypass this.
I looked at the camera and began.
"Sometimes I wonder, why is life cruel to the weak? What have we done wrong to deserve this treatment? Nothing!" I hit the air making a crack in the space for a few seconds before it closed up. I smiled and looked at the camera seriously.
"I believe some of you are confused on why I finally appeared, but this should be the last message before the world changes… " I clenched my fist, and my smile got wider.
"All I can say is you need to prepare for the invasion… if you have families escape from the populated areas and if you need answers… Find me!" Ending the broadcast I stood up.
After a quick sigh, I walked towards the tavern door and walked outside. Looking at the island that was developed with the help of everyone, I smiled and walked towards the beach.
Everyone was gathered, the land was big after it was modified but it won't be enough, I created thousands of shields to protect this island, the safe zones and the world in-case of unknown enemies.
Looking at the soldiers standing in a formal order I smiled.
"Klaus! Lara! Robert! Myah! Report to me now!" I said with a shout as I placed both of my hands behind my back and my cloth changed into a modern military uniform. Black in color, red strikes on each side, a crown emblem on the hat while 3 crows are on the shoulders which mean World Guild Master.
"Yes, sir!" They replied as they saluted in their military uniforms. The idea here was to allow the systems to create their factions, each faction contains soldiers of grade 2 and above.
"Sir, the warrior division are all prepared, we have finished our training and prepared all the men to withstand months of wars against the beasts by training them all in the expert tower" Klaus Hit his shield with his fist and the soldiers of a thousand did the same. Each soldier of the warrior division wore plated military uniforms, had swords and shields.
I nodded and looked at Lara.
"Sir!" She saluted and her hands went behind her before she began speaking, "The archer division has concluded all military training, we have been able to train everyone as the warriors training but the only thing that we did differently was skydiving and training in the sky with our bows." Lara placed one hand behind her back and the other on her shoulder, the bow hanged on her back while the quiver was on the back of her waist vertically. The soldiers wore simple military uniforms, had bows and quivers, small daggers on their belts.
I nodded and looked at Robert.
"Sir," Robert said without any extra movements he continued "Rogue division, Training, done, intelligence system, completed, we are ready…" Wearing the same military uniform as me, he had no weapon on his body but under it… everywhere. His soldiers trained twenty times harder than any other division training. I smiled as I looked at them organized.
I nodded and finally looked at Myah.
"Mas… Sir" she nearly blurted the wrong words in the wrong place, "The magic division is ready, training finished earlier than we have expected and we are ready to blast those beasts away" With the large hat she stood clumsily, the military uniform she wore was a bit simple and it was the only pink colored one in here. The rest wore black military robes, small hats and wielded wooden sticks inscribed with runes.
"Hmm, you all did great, your tasks are many but remember, your instructors won't be there once the war begins… stand straight, lift your heads and face your enemies with a smile" Finishing the speech I left with Klaus, Lara, Rober, and Myah.
"Hope is waiting at your house" Rose appeared next to me and said in a calm voice. I nodded and after reaching home through the street, I entered the house and saw Hope drinking tea with Emma.
"Welcome back, husband" Emma smiled as she stood up, Hope followed and waited for everyone to sit down before taking a seat.
Sitting next to Emma I smiled, "How are you, my love?", Emma lovely smile appeared and replied, "I am doing great, I just called to check up on our children, they are all ready".
Nodding, I looked at hope, "Activate all the cards within 23 hours, 32 minutes". Hope nodded and stood up before leaving with everyone except Rose.
"Master, your companions are waiting in the living room," Rose said as she stood up, Emma and I stood up and went to the living room. "Brother!" Rag who was drinking coffee stood up from the couch and came to give me a hug. "Haha! Rag, you have grown taller!" I said as I hugged him back.
"Brother, hehe!" Ele appeared from behind and hugged. "Ele, you have become stronger, how was the tower?" I asked as I turned and gave her a hug. "It was great! Yama and Rag did well fighting!" She giggled as she kept talking about the funny moments.
Yama face was red, "Hmph, brother you took longer than expected" He walked and stretched his hand, I shook his hand before pulling him to give him a hug. "You have been my greatest creation before, I will expect great things from you ok?" I said to him after he struggled to escape the hug.
"Hmph! We will see, call out Asura, tell him I am ready to beat him up!" Yama red face changed into a serious face as he kept cursing Asura. Asura replied to him with more curses.
"Let us take a seat first!" Emma clapped to calm the scene down before pulling me towards a seat and sitting next to me. We chatted for hours and went through many events that happened, this life, I will protect it.
Looking at Emma I felt sad because she couldn't have my child… I remember what Anima told me before, seems like I will need to be on the battlefield for a long time...
