5 Shut The Fuck Up

"Hmm, What is that?"

Under Pati's eyes, there are a couple of things that seeped out of the Brawler's head. It looks disgusting especially since it's literally seeped out of its skin. It's not like sweat, but the items tore through a hole in the skin.

Clank!

Three items dropped to the ground, the guy approached the items to check them out.

But even with his hurting body, Pati stands up and pushes the guy to the side making him fall headfirst to the concrete ground, "Oh, no you didn't! Did you just push me?"

"These items are mine, hands off of them", Pati replied without even turning to see the guy.

Remembering that Pati is so much stronger than him for some reason despite him bigger in terms of size than Pati, the guy snorted before leaning on the wall while looking at the items that are being taken by Pati.

There is one red crystal, one old green parchment, and the other one is a black coin.

Pati grabbed the three of them before he inspects them closer, he finds the red crystal has nothing to it except being a normal red crystal. The old green parchment has weird writings that he can't understand, while the black coin attracts Pati the most.

Not only does the black coin gives off a bit of a weird feeling, it should also be somekind of currency. Pati is quite poor, seeing this black coin that resembles money is a natural reaction for him.

Upon closer look, the outer circle of the black coin is carved with somekind of golden chain.

In the middle part of the black coin is three circles that are intertwined with each other and a green orb that is almost like a pendant in the middle, Pati finds this black coin similar to a game that he played but it's not about Zombie.

After inspecting the items, Pati fixated his eyes on the red crystal.

"What is that? Is it like somekind of dropped items in those games?", the guy asks from the side, his eyes looking at the red crystal curiously.

Hearing this, Pati shrugs his shoulders and crushes the red crystal in his hand.

The guy was surprised upon seeing this, he went to Pati while looking at the crumbling red crystal that has turned into smaller pieces of shards, "It might be precious... why did you destroy it?"

Before Pati can even reply to the guy, a message from the system appeared.

[Gained +10 Strength Stat]

A smile appears on Pati's face when he realized that what he expected turns out to be true, that red crystal that he just destroyed is an item dropped from Zombies that can increase stats. His gamer sense tingle never failed him.

Pati's eyes soon landed on the old green parchment but the growls of Zombies snapped him.

Both of them look around and find that the Zombies that are attracted here because of the fight he had with the Brawler has arrived, there are at least five or six dozens of them. Some are coming from the back gate of the university and some are coming from the parking lot.

With this many Zombies, of course, Pati was excited to grind but the pain in his arms stopped him. His condition is not fit for another round with these Zombies.

"Let's get back inside the university!", the guy said.

Hearing this, Pati looks at him with a frown, "What if there's another one of that thing inside?"

"There shouldn't be any, I've run all the way to the front entrance and only meet that guy. Besides, you will be surrounded by the Zombies if you stay here", the guy replied pointing at the Zombies crawling around them with deathless eyes.

Pati puts the parchment and black coin in his pocket before he suddenly runs.

This catches the guy off guard, he's simply stunned.

The guy then shakes his head realizing that Pati has dipped, he was about to curse him but he suddenly saw Pati grabs the butcher knife and run back to him.

"What are you doing?", the guy asks looking at Pati kneeling beside the Bawler's corpse

After positioning the butcher knife on the Brawler's skull, Pati then raises the butcher knife and started hitting on it repeatedly making a disgusting meaty sound. It disturbs the guy and also makes his stomach upset.

Chunks of flesh got torn off before Pati started to get a clear hit on its hard skull.

"Oh my god...", the guy turns around feeling a bit nauseous from the scene and smell that is very disgusting, a loud cracking sound than can be heard. Pati manages to crack its skull.

Couping the Brawler's brain with his hands, Pati then started running into the university.

He didn't even say anything to the guy and just dipped. But this time, the guy realized that Pati is actually leaving him so he started running into the university while cursing Pati inside his head.

A moment later,

Pati gets inside the university's building and saw that it's completely dark and empty, the sky is still dark and the university will probably be deserted since the world has collapsed.

Beside the entrance is two elevators, one going up and one going down.

Without much thinking, Pati instantly gets on the elevator to go up.

The university is nine-story high with the first floor being the admission room, a library that is connected with the admission room, and also a coffee shop and a fast food restaurant. Yes, there's a fast food restaurant inside the university and it's freaking crowded with students usually.

Soon the guy also arrives inside the university and finds Pati going up, "Wait for me!!"

"Bruv shut the fuck up! You're going to draw more Zombies to us!", Pati can't help but shout back in helplessness, this guy is simply always shouting for no reason.

After getting to the second floor, Pati kept going up.

While going up he's occasionally looking to the side trying to avoid where there might be people that have already turned into Zombies, it's still not clear how people turn into Zombies but Pati decided to just take the safe route.

Since he's a student here, he knows the inside of the university very well.

The university is divided into two parts on each floor, one is the old part and the other part is the new part. The new part is the half front of the university which has just been built for a year, while the old part is as it's called.

In the middle place that separates the new part and the old part is where the restrooms are, two on each floor. There is also a control room, student help center, and also the janitor's room which Pati tries to avoid.

This late in the night, the Janitors are all that is left inside the university. It's a place that Pati will try to avoid so as not to meet with other Zombies after he's better.

Aside from the janitor's room, each major of the university has its own gangs.

Not like actual gangs that tend to fight a lot but more like sorority gangs, but don't be mistaken they do fight but not as much. Each gang also has turfs where students from other majors are not allowed to hang out there.

Just like Pati for example, he's majoring in Engineer which makes the back cafeteria as their turf. No one aside from engineering major students is allowed to hang out there except to eat.

After eating, they need to go as soon as possible if they don't want any trouble.

James and his gang are cracked heads that belong to the Engineering Gang, they're the cooler kids hosting the most prima donna of the major, Stacy. Which Pati killed a couple of hours ago.

Other majors also have a group like them that likes to hang out until this late.

So Pati will not wonder to their turf yet with his arms bruised like this, but he will definitely pay them a visit later to grind some Chaos and get stronger, 'I hope that Bruce kid is not still here, if he turned into a Zombie he will be a problem'

Remembering Bruce, a guy from the accounting major brought worry to Pati's face.

Although accounting major is for those who like to count money, or that's what Pati thought at least. This guy called Bruce is a freaking monster, he dressed like a nerd with an oversized jacket, glasses, and even a colorful backpack.

But Bruce is absolutely jacked, probably the most jacked student in the whole university.

Even if he's a nerd nobody wants to mess with him, and if that guy turns into a Zombie he will be even more monstrous. But that's just a guess, nothing more.

Reaching the top floor while still carrying the huge ass Brawler's brain.

Pati stopped for a moment taking a couple of deep breaths from all the running he did. Sitting on a steel bench in front of one of the class, he then looks around to make sure there are no Zombies before eating the Brawler's brain.

Munch...

Crunch...

Unlike the Walker's brain that he ate, this one surprisingly tastes better.

Every bite he took is like eating a gummy bear, it's soft and juicy which is contrasting with the actual Brawler that is very tough and pretty stupid. Pati stopped a couple of times to take a breather since he's quite full already.

But just like eating your favorite food, he can't get enough even if he's full.

A couple of steps coming from the elevator caught Pati's attention, he grabs the butcher knife beside him before a head pops out making Pati loosen his grip.

It's the guy he met from before and seeing that he catch up makes Pati rolls his eyes.

"Phew... you left a couple of Zombies on the third floor you fucker! You just make me a killer too!", the guy said while putting both of his hands on his knees trying to catch his breath.

Hearing this, Pati widen his eyes and saw a couple of splattered blood on the guy's face.

As if he just finds the secret of the entire world, Pati looks at the guy in disbelief, "A coward like you can actually kill Zombies? I guess an apocalypse will force even you to trigger your survival instinct", he said before resuming eating the Brawler's brain.

The guy was frozen on his spot hearing what Pati said, he then holds his chest pretending to be hurt by Pati's words, "How could you be so blunt... I'm hurt"

"Good if that hurts you", Pati replied unclearly since he's still munching the brain.

But the guy seems to ignore Pati who is eating the Brawler's brain, almost as if he's already used to how Pati doing this. He then clenches his hand before muttering, "Why do I feel stronger... It's like going to the gym for the first time"

Pati takes the last bite of the brain before smacking his lips delightedly.

The Chaos he got is double the level of the Brawler, it's just like what he thought initially when he realize that each level of a Walker equals 100 Chaos. For a Brawler, one level is equal to 200 Chaos showing they are superior to a Walker.

Looking at the guy, Pati then frowns, "You get stronger? How?"

"I can't really explain it, but after I killed Andre and Lucas I suddenly feel stronger. No... I think I really got stronger", the guy replied while flexing his muscles a couple of times.

Hearing this, Pati was confused, "Andre and Lucas?"

"Yeah, they're the Janitors that I know personally. I feel so sad seeing them turn into Zombies", the guy replied with a solemn look as if he was reminiscing the moment of killing Andre and Lucas over again.

Pati rolled his eyes in annoyance but he then realized, 'Wait, he got stronger too?'

"Can you open your status window?", he asks curiously.

The guy looks at Pati in confusion thinking that he must've been joking, but seeing the serious look shows that Pati is serious. Still, in confusion, the guy then asks, "Status Window?"

"Oh shit! What the fuck is this?", the guy asks when he suddenly sees his status window.

But Pati doesn't see the status window just like the guy can't see his status window, 'Interesting, so all the surviving people can access the status window?'

Just then, it suddenly just hit him.

'Wait so you're saying that this fucker can gain Chaos through killing Zombies while I need to eat their brains? What kind of bullshit is that?!', Pati thought while glaring at the guy.

The guy noticed Pati's glare, he steps back a couple of steps, "Why are you looking at me like that?"

Tcuh!

Out of nowhere, Pati spits to the side with a despised look.

The sudden spit makes the guy even more confused, he saw Pati glare at him and spit to the side. Do that to anyone else and they will be either confused or really angry, and the guy is the confused team.

But before he can ask, Pati already gets up and went inside one of the classes.

Seeing this, the guy follows Pati into the class mumbling, "You're really weird. Why are you so angry all the time, I'm a very nice and approachable guy you know"

"Women really likes my perso-", before the guy can finish ranting.

The guy suddenly stopped on his track looking at the scene in front of him. With light steps, he then walks to Pati's side while looking out of the window, "Just what on earth is happening..."
