Meeting Kakashi

I sat down and opened up the decrepit-looking scroll that the Hokage gave me. The first thing I see is the scroll's title, 'The Way of the Kunoich.' It was a weird title, but I started reading the scroll's contents. It goes through how women as ninjas perform their jobs, but this part seems old-fashioned and probably written in the early days of the ninja world. What got my attention was the detailed explanation of how females train to increase their strength, speed, and dexterity while keeping their feminine beauty and, if not, enhancing their womanly charms. There were even hints about seduction and espionage, including in the scroll.

I was a bit disappointed by the contents, but some of it was useful and could help later on. I looked over at Naruto to see he was trying to use the shadow clown jutsu, but it seemed to elude him at the moment. I started practicing the exercises in the scroll at first. It seems kind of like yoga, but it takes a more intense route in the later stages, almost like contortionist training.

It had only been an hour into my training when a massive cloud of smoke covered my vision, leaving me surrounded by 100 Narutos. My mind instantly goes to the gutter, but I shake my head clear of those dirty thoughts and strike out, popping the clones around me, giving me space to breathe. I then yell out to Naruto to dispel them all. Moments later, I'm assaulted by another cloud of smoke as I'm now standing alone on the roof. I walk over to Naruto and tell him. "you used way too much chakra to fuel it. Remember your training. Learn to regulate your chakra till you can make the smallest amount of clones possible. Okay."

He gives me a beaming smile and nods his head before again trying to summon more clones. It takes some time for Naruto to cast the Justu, as he needs to concentrate on changing his chakra flow each time. But over the next hour, the number of clones keeps going down. He was still summoning hundreds of clones, so the process was slow but ongoing.

We continued to train for the next two hours before we saw Sasuke and Sakura come to the roof. They looked so irritated, having to wait four hours for our Sensai to show up. I then noticed out of the corner of my eye a head of white, making me turn around to face it. I was greeted by Kakashi crouching on the railing of the building, reading his iconic orange book.

"Oh, there are the other two. Good. Let's see. First off, let me have you guys introduce yourselves." he said. To be followed up by Sakura. "Introduce ourselves... What should we say?" Kakashi looks a little exacerbated but replies with, "Your likes, dislikes, your future dreams, hobbies, things like that!" He says

Still shy about his new appearance, Naruto raises the question, "Hay! Before we go, why don't you tell us about yourself first." Kakashi looks at us all and then says, "Me? My name's Kakashi Hatake. I don't feel like telling you guys about my likes and dislikes." getting a shocked look from Naruto and Sakura before he continues. "I've never really thought about my future dream... As for my hobbies, I have many," he says, finishing his introduction and getting a deadpan from all of us before saying, "Next to you guys. Let's start with you," he says, pointing at Naruto.

Naruto perks up. He regains his energetic demeanor and says, "My name is Naruto Uzumaki! I like instant Ramen, but what I like even more is the ramen from Ichiraku that Zalea treats me to. Plus, his home cooking is the best, too. What I dislike is the three minutes after pouring hot water into the instant ramen. My hobby is eating and comparing rame! And training with the Zalea! And my future dream is to surpass the Hokage! And so I will get the entire village to acknowledge my existence!" Naruto is practically yelling, leaving the rest of us stunned by his enthusiasm. Kakashi was left stunned for a few seconds, then said. "Okay, next." as he looks at Sakura.

Sakura puts on a bright smile and says. "I'm Sakura Haruno. What I like... I mean, who I like is..." She says, looking shy, I'm looking at Sasuke. "And, my hobby is, I mean..." She still looks at Sasuke while he ignores her. "My future dream is..." She then lets out a squeal in embarrassment. Kakashi interrupts her, "And? what are your dislikes?" She gains a grumpy look and immediately says, "Naruto!" This immediately devastates Naruto, putting him in a super-depressed mood. Kakashi's looks like that really annoyed him, probably thinking she's obsessed with love, not really focusing on being a ninja. Then saying. "next is you." pointing at me.

"Hi, my name is Zalea. My likes are dark chocolate, training, movies, and my best friend, Naruto. My hobby is learning new techniques from scratch. My dislikes are liars and rapists. And my future dream is to be the best kunoich I can possibly be." I said with all my confidence. Getting confused stairs for the rest of my team, except from Naruto, who punches my shoulder in encouragement.

Then Kakashi says. "and lastly." looking at Sasuke. "My name is... Sasuke Uchiha. I have lots of dislikes, but no likes in particular." he says in a monotone, then suddenly gains a sharp and dangerous look in his eyes. "I don't feel like summing up my ambitions as just a dream, but I do have an ambition! That ambition is to restore my clan and without fail is to kill a certain man!" He finishes, leaving an awkward silence hanging in the air. Looks even more infatuated with him. Naruto has a what the fuck face. Kakashi has a worried look on his face as if the introduction just confirmed something in his mind.

Kakashi then shouts, "Good! You're all very unique, and you're all interesting way, and we will be having a mission tomorrow." Naruto starts the belts in place, excited at hearing we're going on a mission, and asks, "What kind of mission" Kashi looks at Naruto without even blinking and says, "A survival exercise." Sakura gets indigent and asks Kakashi, "Why are we doing an exercise? We did plenty of exercises and the Academy." Kakashi starts to laugh and says, "It's no ordinary exercise, but this exercise will determine if you become a real ninja, and it has a 66% failure rate. Depending on their results, those who fail will be sent back to the Academy or flunk out of it. So be prepared for tomorrow and bring a complete set of ninja tools. We will be starting at 5 o'clock tomorrow at the third training ground. Oh... And you best skip breakfast. You will just throw it up." Kakashi then leaves before we can even get a word in edgewise.

I looked at the rest of them. They were in shock, but I just stood up and motioned for Naruto to follow me. He looked upset. But I reassured him, "The graduation test was kind of easy. We're technically joining an army. I was expecting a harder test, and I guess this is it." He thinks about it for a second, seeing the logic in my words and telling him that we're gonna keep training until dinner because we have an early day tomorrow. We leave without giving the other two the time of day, even though Naruto still looks depressed after what Sakura said.

We ended up training, as I said. Naruto, mostly focusing on his clones, tried to get them to the minimum as possible. It still seemed very hard for him, but I couldn't wait for us to show off our skills tomorrow in a true combat scenario.
