Chapter 1: Background

Adam, who had just crashed his car, suddenly woke up and found himself lying in the arms of a woman. What shocked Adam was that the woman was huge, like some titan.

When Adam screamed in terror, all he heard was the sound of a baby crying loudly. He was confused about why he couldn't make a single sound.

He looked at his arms to find that his body had become tiny and soon understood what was happening.

He had probably died in the crash and was reborn in a new world as a baby. The only thing Adam felt strange about was why he still retained his memories.

Was there some sort of mistake, or was he like one of those online novel protagonists destined to use his memories to rise against the world?

Adam was then picked up by his mother, who started consoling him. Adam got closer to his mom and noticed her wearing a rather strange yet familiar outfit.

Adam tried his best to recall it from his memories. Finally, he remembered seeing this type of outfit in Naruto.

Adam spoke in his mind, "So does that mean I was reborn in my favorite anime Naruto? Shit, that's not good news."

You might think being born in your favorite anime is fantastic. You are not wrong. The only issue is that being held in an action anime like Naruto is never fun.

There is danger surrounding you at all times. There is no single place in this world that could be considered safe.

Hell, even if there was such a place, it would soon come to an end if Naruto didn't stop the world-ending disaster in the future.

Adam knew he had to be extra cautious living in a world with such high stakes. Otherwise, a small change by him could turn into a butterfly and change the show's ending.

Adam, carried up in the air, quickly tried his best to look around and observe his surroundings.

Seeing the relatively average size of his house, he felt he must have been born into an ordinary ninja household. Although he couldn't be sure if it was true, then in no way was it a good thing.

It would mean that Adam would lack the most fundamental thing in Naruto, a good-quality bloodline and mysterious chakra techniques.

It would also mean his talent would most likely be mediocre, and he had no chance to improve his skill through a bloodline inheritance.

Adam spoke to himself, "God damn it, this is practically a nightmare setting for a Naruto fan."

*I can only place all my hopes on a system. The system comes out. View the stats screen. Golden finger activates. The system here you at!?"

After many more futile attempts, Adam still failed to call out his system. He finally concluded that maybe he didn't have a system and had to rely on himself.

This realization made Adam burst into tears and start crying like a real baby.

Six months passed in the blink of an eye. The only eventful thing was that Adam managed to earn a false title as a natural-born genius.

He started to walk and fully talk when he turned six months old. It made him stand out from the crowd.

When he was one year and three months old, he managed to secretly steal his father's Chakra technique and managed to learn it.

If Adam, managing to learn chakra at the tender age of one and three months, leaked out, others would call him a monster.

Only Adam knew the truth. He might have started with chakra relatively quickly but found it extremely difficult to truly control and make improvements.

In the following year and eight months, he grinded and tried various different methods to help improve his Chakra speed, but it was to no avail.

At the age of two and eleven months, he tested and found he could barely concentrate the chakra into his dominant hand's index finger.

It might sound like a considerable achievement, but when he tried to stick a small piece of paper to his finger, he found that he could only attach the paper to his fingers for five seconds.

For reference, to perform this test, Adam stuck the paper. He pointed his finger toward the ground so that gravity would pull the paper away from him.

If it was someone else, seeing that all his efforts of almost two years amounted to nearly nothing, they would have probably given up.

Despite Adam facing the same feeling, he continued by saying that even if he could not become powerful. He had to have the ability to at least defend himself.

A month soon passed, and it officially marked three years since Adam arrived.

This typical day soon transformed into a life-changing event when he woke up in the morning.

Adam heard a ding and a system message popped in front of his eyes.

A mechanical voice suddenly appeared in Adam's head.
