4 Chapter 4: Sister Knows Magic!

Violet, now back in her room, looked as the setting sun streamed through the quaint wooden window slats, revealing dancing dust particles in the golden sunlight.

They were stirred up by the breeze caused by the suddenly closed door, billowing in her seldom-cleaned room. This was her temporary dwelling.

She stood against the door, listening intently for any external sounds. After a long while of ensuring no one was trailing her, and hearing no footsteps or unusual sounds, she heaved a sigh of relief and casually sat on the floor.

The soul within her body, Lin Xiaozheng, gazed absently at the clear sky, sparse clouds, and golden sunlight, feeling as though he was in a past life.
