1 Bounty Hunter

'Finally, I'm in Cold Water' Colt thought to himself, he stopped in a hill nearby and stared at the town for quiet a while.

Cantering into town, Colt notice a few people looking at him. Passing through the town gate he looked at the people, but he didn't said anything.

More and more people started to notice the stranger that showed up, yet no one talked to him or ask him anything, they notice the revolver with a long rifle in his hip.

"Hey have you notice the new stranger in town?" asked a citizen of Cold Water to another. " Yeah, they said he come from the south gate, and he was looking around the town too" replied the other person.

"He just looks like an outlaw, and probably one that likes trouble. He's probably planning something."

"I know, we already have 'The Sun Devil' living here, now it seems like another one is showing up. What has Colt Water become."

"'The Sun Devil', can't believe he is just a youngster in his mid twenties, they say he has nineteen notches on his gun, they represent the people he's killed."

"And one more, it's twenty people he's killed not nineteen."

The rest of the day passed and everybody in Cold water was talking about the stranger.

Inside 'Silver Dollar Saloon' everyone was having fun drinking and dancing when people started to notice a stranger coming through the doors.

Colt gave a quick look at the guys in the saloon, he just went to the bar and started to order some drinks. Everybody started to ignore Colt until they heard a piece of information about him.

Apparently he is a Bounty Hunter and didn't plan to stay to long in town, he just came for an outlaw. They also heard that it didn't matter if the target was alive or dead.

Colt noticed the looks from the guys in the saloon. before he left he said, "The one I'm after is, 'The Sun Devil'. Tell him I'm expecting him in the middle of the town at the time arrived here."

The people in the saloon where flabbergasted by what he said, after a while a few guys left and went directly to a house right on the outside of the town.

They immediately knocked on the door, suddenly a young man opened the door. "Jesse! I got some bad news, some guy is looking for trouble with you!"

It seems that the famous, 'Sun Devil' is this young man! "Hmm it seems that they never learn." said Jesse with a sighed at the end.

"Aren't you worried? He seems like bad news, said he was going to wait for you in the middle of the town right around eleven in the morning." Said one of the guys.

"Why should I be worry, twenty people have tried to kill me, now those twenty people adorn my little baby. If a challenge he wants, a challenge he shall receive. It seems that, that guy is going to be number twenty-one." Jesse said with some confidence.

The hours passed quickly and it was 40 minutes till midday, when suddenly the people saw two man walking right into the center of town. Once they saw both of them, everybody went inside a building and started to watch them from the windows.

Everybody held their breath, and some of them even felt sorry for the handsome bounty hunter, everybody was thinking that he was about to meet his maker.

Colt and Jesse stared at each other for a while, both of them had a hand hovering the guns. The second went on ticking. Suddenly Jesse stretched his hand, wanting to get his gun. Colt immediately followed up also moving for his gun.

When the people of Cold Water saw them making their move they stared with wide eyes, suddenly a loud 'BOOOM!!!' resounded in the town of Cold Water.

Everybody in town gasped at what they just saw. The quick draw of the Bounty Hunter was on another level. Jesse 'The Sun Devil' had not taken his gun out completely before he was shot, and that shot landed right on his heart.

The people of Cold Water gathered around Jesse, they notice that his gun was half ways out of its holster, before he was shot dead.

Colt started walking towards Jesse with his horse, the people cleared a path and let Colt take Jesse with him.

The people of Cold Water were just staring at the bounty hunter leaving through the same gate he came into town.

They knew that the story of the bounty hunter with a big iron on his hip, would become a legend.
