7 Ch 6 | Human Core

Teacher Xi was as enthusiastic as ever, he already made most of the youths open up to him and the rest would follow soon.

"Now, now, today we want to take a close look at the cultivation of a very special core, your human core!"

"Yes, by cultivating your inner core, you can go up in minor realms and eventually ranks!"

"So can someone explain to me what the difference between minor realms and ranks is?"

Thia yawned, her nightly cultivation session made itself noticeable, she thought of many things the last days and hadn't slept much.

"Correct! When you try to progress your rank, to be able to use cores of a corresponding rank, you first have to progress through that ranks minor realms!"

"With each of these realm's your power and efficiency will increase by an amount!"

"But it is important to know, that you can't just cultivate indefinitely like you do at the moment and reach all of these realms easily!"

"When you reach the barrier to the next minor realm, you will have to perform a breakthrough to actually reach that realm."

"Every breakthrough is a challenge and it only gets harder as you ascend the realms and ranks!"

"Now, to ranks, we know a lot less about ranks, but be told that our clan has confirmed the existence of at least five ranks! Sadly we never had a cultivator of the highest rank among us, but we at least confirmed their existence."

"Additionally you will often hear rumors about the so-called 'demi-immortals', but please bear in mind, that we have never encountered one of these esteemed individuals, so their existence is a mystery."

"To get back on track, when you reach the last minor realm, you'll encounter a barrier, this barrier is what keeps you from ascending in rank, going up a rank means a massive increase in power and efficiency, while also a new kind of aratra will start forming in your inner pond."

"There are a total of five differently-colored forms of aratra, but what you need to know is, that this means a substantial increase in purity!"

The hours went by as teacher Xi tutored the youths, as Thia finally awakened had everyone left already.

'Finally, I should leave for the mountain now, or I might not make it back in time before night falls!'
