12 Chapter 11: Fight for Love

- 3RD PERSON'S POV -

"See?? He's not your mate, Lesley! Let me kill him!" Harley yelled and quickly disappeared, the same thing happened to Gusion since Harley is running after him. Lesley glanced at everyone before she followed her little brother. Miya looked at Guinevere who is right beside her a while ago but now she's gone.

'Miya, I've been looking for you. I thought I'll never see you again." Alucard was about to walk forward when Tigreal blocked him.

Franco went forward and pushed Alucard to his back while glaring back to Tigreal, "You might want to back off, You're standing on our territory."

Tigreal scoffed, "Oh really? I didn't know that the Sacred Statues belongs to your dirty Empire."

"What the fu—?!" Franco didn't get to finish his words because of Ruby. She hooked Tigreal using her scythe.

"Alucard! Franco! Help me finish this disrespectful man! He deserves to die for talking shit about our Empire!" Ruby shouted but before the two men catch up to her, Tigreal thrust his sword into the ground that dealt damage and stunned the three.

"Miya! Odette! Finish them off!"

Odette immediately started chanting to cast her special power, "Miya! Shoot your arrows while I slow them down. Faster!" Odette didn't get Miya's attention since she's too focused on her mate, Alucard.

"Fuck, kill that witch!" Ruby cursed.

Odette looked at Miya and begged, "Miya! Please..."

Miya sighed, she doesn't want to hurt anyone so she cast a spell to her arrows that will make the person who got hit lose consciousness for an hour. She shot them one by one still hesitating if she's going to shoot Alucard but she did it anyway.

"Miya..." Alucard whispered hurt evident in his voice.

"I'm sorry, Alucard."

Gusion is currently leaning on a tree while panting and placed his right hand on his chest. He can feel his heart beating fast, not because he could barely breathe but because of his mate showing up unexpectedly.

"Lesley... what a beautiful name," Gusion whispered to himself while grinning from ear to ear. The heavenly gods gave him a very beautiful mate.

His thoughts of her were cut off when he heard a voice.

"Your name is Gusion... right? Gusion Paxley?"

Gusion's mouth is half-open and did not say anything while staring at Lesley. 'I love the way she calls my name, so sexy." He thought while biting his lower lip.

Lesley frowned, "Excuse me??"

He forgot about the mind link. He cleared his throat and looked at her once again with no expression to be seen on his face.

"If you're here because you're worried about me being killed by your little brother, don't bother. I will kill him before he does." Gusion really wanted to see his mate but here he is making her walk away from him because he knows this is the best for them though it won't make them both happy.

Her palm landed to his cheek. Lesley slapped him. She tried her best to keep her tears from falling but she failed, "You really don't care huh?" She sobbed.

Gusion can't stop himself from wiping her tears away but Lesley slapped his hand and glared at him.

He kneeled to the ground after Lesley said her last words to him and left him in the forest. Again, another broken heart.

"I, Lesley Vance reject you Gusion Paxley as my mate."

Alucard opened his eyes and looked around but the place is not familiar to him. He tried to move but there are chains tied up to him. He saw Franco and Ruby are chained up too.

"Damn it."

He felt a presence coming closer to them. Alucard tried to reach his sword to cut off the chains from him. He stood up, pointing his sword to the door as he felt the presence going nearer.

The door opened and it revealed another familiar guy.

Alucard frowned, "Estes?"

Estes smirked at him, "You remember me, wow. I can't believe you're still alive after I shoved your sword to you.

The tension in the room grew darker and Alucard's hand tightened his hold to his sword. Restraining himself from killing the man in front of him.

His other fist clenched when he smelled something from him.

"Who are you? I can smell Miya's scent on you."

Estes played with his staff, "I'm your mate's fiancé. I suggest you better back off and forget about her."

With that, Alucard raged and looks like another war will be sparked.

Even if we want to avoid chaos, we have no other choice but to face this.

As long as you're fighting for the right thing, just fight for it. Others' opinion doesn't matter because they're not the one who'll be fighting, it's you.
