"I wanted to pick you up for our date."

They smiled at each other foolishly, forgetting about the third party with a slacked jaw.

He opened the door for her to sit in, then dropped his stuff in the back seat before moving to the driver's side.

"Frank!!!"

The voice successfully caught the couple's attention.

"You didn't see me?"

Frank sighed, "mom called to say you'd drop by the hospital because you weren't feeling well. Take care of yourself."

Just like his name, he treated this lady like that: Frank.

She pointed at Flora in the car, "she's really your girlfriend?"

Frank looked at her, "she really said that?"

The lady was just about to be comforted when she heard his voice.

"I tricked you into admitting yesterday. You should admit it to my face first before other people. Admit it again."

Both the lady and Flora found it unbelievable. The old man was actually grumbling about this.

"You're my boyfriend," Flora said shyly.

Frank smiled all satisfied before getting in the car and driving away.

The abandoned lady could only stomp away angrily.

...

"She's my mom's best friend's daughter. We sort of grew up together. She has a one-sided affection for me, but I only see her as a sister. Her name is Clara."

He explained himself obediently before Flora could ask.

"I see."

"I don't want you to misunderstand. If in the future you misunderstand anything, talk to me about it. Don't wait for me to bring it up, and don't go in circles to make me admit. I usually don't take the initiative to talk about things that have been settled. Do you understand?"

Flora just looked at him. No response was given, like she wasn't even listening.

"Girlfriend!"

Flora snapped out of it and looked away shyly. He shook his head and repeated his speech once again.

"Okay. I got it."

He smiled, "where do you wanna go?"

"Let's go eat. I'm farmished."

They got something to eat together, stopped by a coffe shop to get dessert, then somehow ended up in a study room at the library.

Currently at 9p.m., the couple was holding a staring contest.

"You're beautiful," that smooth voice carried a hint of adoration.

The girl blushed, "you're beautiful too."
