86 There Was No Fight

After a minute the officer was able to make sense of the whole situation as he remembered what really happened and began to speak in a raspy voice, "I don't know what happened. It- it was like a whole platoon of attacks were coming in but all I saw or managed to see was a single figure. It seemed like a man but at the same time it wasn't? It became dark right after, and everything happened so fast I couldn't see or do much."

He rubbed his head before reminding another detail, "He was headed in that direction when I encountered him," he pointed to another lobby, "Then something hit me in the head and I blacked out. I don't remember anything else."

Much of what the officer said didn't help the both detectives. They already knew about the attack and all he saw was one man, but there could still be more of them. It definitely looked like there were, judging by the broken lights and emergency protocols.
