This book is my 2nd work and I love to write slow burn. Since you've read to the previous chapter, I guess you have known what I meant by slow burn. For the style adopted, it's mainly the MCs's Point of view [Object/third person POV]. Honestly, at the start of this book, I did not plan to take a break from it but I did because I thought it won't be contracted but it finally does. This means, I have to resume writing it and I hope you will like (If not love) to support it.
The updates for April will be 3 chapters per week. I knew it's kinda low but I want to see how well we gonna support the book and how well it's entertaining you. Also, I planned to go premium that same month. I hope you will not leave the book.
For May; the update will come in as a daily chapter. [Either I will update 1,500 words per chapter daily or update 1000 words per chapter but 2 chapters daily]. This choice depends on how we support this book in April.
Bonus chapters are available too, if only we want them which is through our support.
Likewise, this book is set as COMEDY, especially the first Volume. Some of my readers said the first book [You belong to me] was full of tragedy, so, I tried to write this book as a comedy but if you did not find it funny... I am very sorry in advance because I'm literally not a funny fellow.

For instance, I, as an author. I would say I started writing as far back as I was in elementary school. Where I described with drawings and write short stories to share with my classmates... Do you know what I found satisfying? "The way they laugh and surrounded me up to see more of it."
That was my first impression, where it started for me, honestly speaking. Formally, this goes for everyone, we all drew when we are Kids. I meant, we all have the desire to write, our pursues are just different.
However, I quit when I was in Form 3 (we called it Junior secondary school here). During that period, an organization came to my school for orientation and to seek young talents. (I don't know if something similar happened during your time too). Anyway, I was so happy and wrote several pages of a story worth hundreds of my time, submitted it to them a week later with contacts addresses, and the likes. However, to date, that organization has never stepped back into the school. Whether my story is poor or good. I never heard the feedback. We, the victims, protested to the Principal. The organization was unreachable to date.
This is a story of many years ago. But a storyteller like me cannot forget it because it naturally discouraged me and I quit writing. Until a year ago when Webnovel found me.

So, I started writing professionally last year with 'YOU BELONG TO ME' This book did not perform well (at all) but it's still my best book because it carried my breakthrough. Therefore, I will complete it whether it earns me or not, whether you read it or not... Lol... [I just meant that I have to prove to myself that I won't quit again].
I think many authors face similar things in one way or another, so it's not something to deeply mull about.
PREMIUM/CHAPTER UNLOCK
On webnovel, there are two ways you can unlock premium chapters.
•THE USE OF COIN: Readers on WN are those that determine the earning rate of authors. It is through your paid coins that authors earn. This is how they earn; A coin cost 0.02$ and its higher rate depends on the word count per chapter. This amount is divided into 3 if your coins are being purchased from the Google store while it is divided into 2 if purchased through PayPal or Stripe. But I guess majorities use Google store.
Hence the author earns this way: The author has 30% of the 0.02$ earned on a single coin through GStore and 50% through PayPal purchase [I.e The platform took their % and the Google store also took their % but for PayPal purchase, 0% is taken from the author earnings, so, profits are only shared 50: 50 for the author and the platform].
Hence, the author profit more if coins are purchased through PayPal.
Lemme buttress further, the minimum word count author can publish on a premium chapter Is 1000 words which cost 5 coins (200 words= 1 coin = 0.02$). This means that an author that writes 1000 words will earn 0.1$ on that chapter which will still be divided into 3 as stipulated above. Therefore author who writes 1k words per chapter will earn 0.03$ on that chapter.
Note; fast passes and bonus coins don't add earnings/profits to the authors, they only help readers to read for free.
Therefore, the more readers who invested in a book, the more the author earns. I hope you understood how an author earns per chapter now. Hence, majorities read for free and many authors earn lower compared to the time spent on that single chapter to make it ready for readers. [Thankful for MGS].
Kindly note that I don't dispute any readers who read for free here. I was once a hungry and broke reader like that too. [I used to borrow books from my friends after they are done reading to satisfy my hunger for them].
So, many new authors on WN naturally earn very low... Please don't criticize their works and writing styles, they just don't have a wide fan base yet. [I'm also one too]. However, this explained why some authors might be aggressive towards their nagging readers. It's not their fault. We just love to write as much as you love to read. So, we need to be fair in this aspect.
You can't fast-passed a book and still nag the author unruly. You should be kind enough to be supportive. If you can't pay for a chapter, no criticism but you can support us with your good utterance, feedback, voting e.t.c.
Also, GIFTING is a way we earn here and it tells how the readers want the author to keep on writing. It fuels us just like how machines need fuel.
In addition, as my reader, you can be supportive of my work because I need your support to accomplish my dream.
•FAST PASS: This is another way you can unlock a premium chapter. And you will have to earn it by;
1: Daily login.
2. Converting of accumulated points from the store located below your profile to fast pass.
3. Fulfilling missions from the reward column below your profile.
4. By using power stones and energy stones.
Therefore in a day, you can earn as many as 2-3 fast passes. Where a single fast pass can unlock a chapter.
Note that this does not add any monetary value to us authors. If you fast passed, kindly do justice by supporting us in another way. (Reviews, comments, and votings).
We LOVE to READ them and it MOTIVATES us.
RANKING: GOLDEN TICKET AND POWER STONE
Some readers will wonder why authors always refer to these two (GT and PS) things to be given to their book. Here are the reasons.
•Golden Tickets: This helps feature our book. The more high rank you got in a particular month determines the feature of that book in the preceding month.
Features help authors to gain more readers by featuring their book on the first page of the App such as weekly features, raising fiction, reader's choice, recommendation, etc.
You can earn GT by giftings and unlocking chapters using paid coins of above 300 coins
•Powerstone: It helps new books to gain recognition and also rank a book. It is useful in WPC and shows how supportive you're as a reader. Earning it depends on your level on WN. [Level 1 has 1 power stone and level 2, 2 power stones, etc] which are deposited to your account daily.
Both the GT and PS are sent to a book through Vote.
PRIVILEGE CHAPTER
They are advanced chapters only visible to readers that paid an extra to read them ahead of regular readers. They are in the last box of the content section of each book.
Any reader who purchased them will have access to advanced chapters ahead of other readers within a month depending on the TIER he/she purchased.
For instance; In this book. In the first month of going premium (locked chapters). I will have a single Tier that helps you to read 2 chapters ahead of other readers. This tier will cost 1 coin to open and then you can unlock it according to the chapter cost.
Hence, privileges chapters are not mandatory for all readers to purchase. It's only meant readers that are eager to read more as soon as the author published their chapters and willing to pay for it. If you can't purchase it, then, you will have to wait till the privileged chapter become a regular chapter that all readers can see.
So, after the first month, I planned to have 3 Tiers. The number of chapters and cost will be there when the time comes and the discount too.
Kindly note that Privilege readers can only have access to the Tier purchased only in a single month. That is, If you purchase Tier 1 which contains 2 chapters for 1 coin on the 1st of April, then, you will be able to access all the additional 2 chapters till the 30th of April, but by May you will have to purchase it again to continue having access to them. Likewise, if you purchase the Tier by the 29th of April, you will be able to access it till the 30th of April. So, the earlier you purchase the more chapters you have access to and vice-versa.
In addition, Privilege chapters are also useful in a Win-Win event. This is the number of privileged readers who purchased the chapters per month and the succeeding book that met the stipulated numbers of privileged readers will have their rewards in the preceding month. [Those rewards are listed in the win-win event]. Mostly, in return, privileged readers got more discounts for unlocking the chapters than regular readers.
