The enchanting of victory pierced through the dim silent forest along the lonely path to The Anonia kingdom [The kingdom considered to be the weakest but their strength abounds from within].

The branches of trees were fully shielded preventing the partial moon from paving light into the darkened forest.

The troops lined up in two rows behind one another galloping on their horse behind their Leader; King Lippana, who has been ruling the kingdom for decades, and beside him was his Right-Hand-Man, Apel Miyam; The bravest female warrior of the kingdom, she is gifted with supernatural powers and very skilled in a sword fight. She is known to be a male-hearted lady, thus, she is referred to as a male werewolf.

While by the left-hand side was the crown prince, Prince Eldaxon.

On this fateful day under the snowing night, as the Anonias were heading back to their kingdom with victorious songs, King Lippana suddenly haste his halter, he raised his hand to stop the enchanting voice of his guards.

Instead, the dim dark forest was occupied with a loud cry of a child,

"Do you hear that too?" King Lippana asked Apel Miyam.

"Yes, Your Majesty, I can hear a child's cry" Apel Miyam replied.

King Lippana signaled to his troops and they all paused. Listening to where the crying was coming from, he exhaled and bridled his horse to gallop in that direction, Apel Miyam and Prince Eldaxon rode behind him.

They were very astonished to see a baby crying amid the dried leaves. It was wrapped up by sack-like cloth already littered with snow, only her legs and head revealed,

"It was a baby but its voice sounded so loud like a 3years old child?" Apel Miyam gasped.

Prince Eldaxon jumped down from his horse, likewise, Apel Miyam, they grab on the sword hanging by their waist and step towards the child, carefully so that hardly their legs make a sound with the dried leaves.

Prince Eldaxon drew out his sword as he reach it. The way the baby was wrapped was too obvious like it was placed there on purpose and the baby might be a set trap.

"Stop!!!" King Lippana signals with a raised hand.

They both turn to him astounded, "Your Majesty..."

King Lippana jumped down from his horse, he raised his hand still to stop him, they paused and pave way for him. The baby cried out louder, it attracted him with pity. He was about to carry the baby when Apel Miyam tossed it in front of him,

"You can't touch the baby... Your Majesty!"

King Lippana sniff his breath against him before pushing him to the side, immediately Prince Eldaxon speaks out,

"Your Majesty! Please allow me to observe this baby first, who knows if this might be a trap?" He explained.

King Lippana stared at him with outrageous eyes before pushing him aside, his feet dragging back to pave the way for him.

The king squelched to carry the baby.

"Wow! It seems like a day-old baby!" He lifts her in his arms.

All his guards watched him astounded with heavy hearts, instead, King Lippana raised the baby towards them, "This child will live with me in my palace!"

Bewilders befall them, and the atmosphere turns to murmur while the baby licks its finger raising its leg on his arms, it was like magic that its cheeks sprout into smiles.

"Your Majesty! The child is a human."

Not only Apel Miyam was concerned, but so were the guards,

"Uhn!" The King nodded, and he climbed on his horse with it.

"It is a human" Apel Miyam repeated calling it upon Prince Eldaxon.

He was amused as Apel Miyam as well.

"Stay still if you did not want it in the palace!" King Lippana shouted from his riding horse.

At the border of the Anonia Kingdom were three elder werewolves with bowls of water in their hands waiting to welcome the King for his victory.

This is their custom. They believe washing the king's legs is a form of chasing away any form of illness they might have encountered during the battle.

This way, the kingdom will be free from any deadly illness.

At the same time, they relay any form of current news to the King.

King Lippana was on the horse while a female Elder wash his legs into a bowl, she tidy him up and raised to bow her head after she was done. She lifted her gaze to relay the current news,

"Your Majesty!!! During the dusk, Queen begot your second Son!"

"What about the Queen?!" King Lippana shouted wearily.

He ought to be happy about the news but he feels otherwise. However, the elder already froze on her stand, not being able to answer her King's question. Her gaze could not shift from the baby in the King's arms.

"What Child is..."

Unable to withstand the sluggishness that is holding down the Elder from explaining further, King Lippana left the border in hurry. All his attention now shifted to his Queen, he can't imagine what could have become of her if the prophecy about his unborn child has come to pass.

10 months ago, after the Queen; Queen Malie conceived his second child, it's an obliged task to know about the fortune the unborn child holds. They called on the Palace Shaman to foresee the future of the unborn baby and the mother. However, the future was displeasing; one of them will die during labor.

The King tends to abort the child since they are not sure of whom will die but the Queen insisted, she will rather die along with the unborn child, or, the King should at least give her the chance to spend 10 months with the child.

She couldn't have been dead...Now?!

King Lippana could not wait to hear it. How can his wife be the one to sacrifice herself for the child?

He must see her! He has to meet her alive!

His crippled heart kept galloping along with the horse, his left hand held tighter to the baby while the other hand gripped the halter. His fierce force of riding splashed away the peaceful snow.

Everyone followed to catch up with him.
