10 Interesting Indeed

Amber followed through the door behind her mother with two small suitcases in her hands.

"Woah, and I thought I was over packed, mom, how is that going to fit?" Amber looked at her mothers, three suitcases and she still hadn't done packing yet!

"Gotta be prepared for everything." Chloe was on her way for another trip but Amber stopped her.

"Yeah, I think that's enough—"

"Ready to go?" The man stepped out of the limousine. 'A freaking limousine.' Amber had never ridden in one before.

The car was huge, having dark tinted windows that made it unable for people to see on the outside. It was perfectly painted and shining through the sun, there was also a little wing symbol on the door.

She couldn't wait to see what lied on the inside.

"Ryker, get the ladies' bags, would you?" The man leaned against the door, tapping the glass with his knuckles to which a buff bearded man, also handsome, dressed in a black suit came out, nodded, and loaded all their bags at the same time without saying anything, he went back to the driver's seat.

The man held the door and Chloe went in first, gasping at the sight of whatever was inside.

"Miss Amber." The man held his hand for her, a wide mysterious smile on his face. "After you."

Amber stared into his black shades for a minute before lightly putting her hand on his and bending her head to enter the vehicle.

She sat and looked up at him, "Thank you."He then closed the door and made his way to the front.

"Woah." Amber looked around, the car was rich, there were purple LED lights on, chairs at the side of her, and the front where her mother sat, devouring a glass of champagne from the table next to her of a variety. The roof had a sparkling design followed by the same (wing)symbol.

Amber inhaled the scent of grapes. It was like she was in a movie.

"This is awesome—" Her mother talked with her mouth full, her eyes wide as she looked around like a kid in a candy store, "You have to try this champagne."

"Mom," Amber whined and eyed her when the juice spilled out of her glass, staining the white fluffy carpet in red.

Amber crawled on her knees and lay on the carpet, using her shirt to wipe off the stain. 'Who knew how much it cost?'

"Everything okay back th—" The man rolled down

"Y-yeah everything's okay. The carpet is just really comfortable." Amber quickly changed position, laying on her waist with her hand holding up her head.

"Okay, well I hope you didn't get too attached because the hotel is right ahead."

"Already?" She asked and then smiled, "Oh attached, just a little but don't worry Mr. Carpet, I promise there won't be any other carpets in my life from the time we part." Amber ran her hands along the carpet sarcastically.

The man gave a genuine laugh, "May we exist then?" He looked at her then at Chloe before opening the door and making his way over to their side.

"Mom!" Amber called, waving her hands at her mother as she stuffed her pockets with skittles, "He's coming, put that down!" She eyed her.

The door opened when Chloe was unloading her pockets and Amber's facepalm.

"Welcome ladies." The man places his hand out for Amber to exit and her mother next.

"To WW diverse elite's hotel." He gestured to the massive hotel in front of him for the already gaping women.

Amber's jaw fell, 'So this is the elite hotel?' She had expected it to be rich but this was on another level of mind-blowing. It slipped into three buildings, the middle being the highest and an open ground where cars parked. The place was packed but as of having the name "most popular'' it didn't have too many people, meaning being overpopulated but she guessed it was because people couldn't afford it.

It was gated with tall golden steel and the WW symbol was at the front. There were two griffins on both the columns and the man looked into their eyes before saying, "Beautiful aren't they?"

The gate randomly opened a second after and Amber could now see the true beauty of the hotel.

There was bright green grass when walking in but once continued forward concrete covered the rest of the area with a large water fountain in front and petals from the trees blowing along the floor. It sort of resembled a house and to Amber, it gave off comfort.

It was really quiet except for the wind rustling.

But that was until they neared the entrance and an argument could be heard.

"Open the door!" Amber could see the man's back as he agreed with the guard, "I was meant to be here! This isn't fair." He shouted.

"I'm sorry but I can't let you past this door."

"Bullshit, I was chosen!"

"Then you can sign your finger at the front to agree." The guard talked calmly, gesturing to another guard not too far from him, standing at the entrance.

"Fuck this shit!" The man dangerously throws his hands up in the air exaggeratedly, angrily turning on feet only to collide into Amber.

"Sorry." Amber reached her hand to help the man off the floor.

He stared directly into her eyes a minute before tightly holding her hand, his fingers rough against her skin. His face was covered with a cloak.

He eyed her before he passed and murmured something under his breath.

"Don't mind him, you can say it's an everyday experience around here. People fighting to get in, I mean."

They stood in front of a large door where a man stood with his hands behind his back, perhaps another guard, Amber had seen a lot of them on her way but she didn't see cameras and wondered if and how they protected the place only putting trust in the guards.

"Before you enter, may I see your hands?" He smiled, reaching for Chloe's first, and the guard who stood in front of them removed his hands from his back revealing a scroll-like paper and a square material with tiny holes in it.

"This is Hank, one of the guards and he is also very important for security around here though he isn't on a watch like the others."

"Put your finger here." Hanks' voice was monotone and dragged, his eyes only directed at no one exactly.

"Okay." Chloe went first, putting her finger on the object.

"Nowhere." The man pointed at the line on the old-looking paper and Chloe stamped her finger.

"Miss Amber?" The man called and lifted her hand.

She nodded, "Uhm yeah." She looked into his eyes as he placed her thumb on the object. As soon as her thumb touched it she felt prickles, like tiny ants biting on her finger. She quickly withdrew it, feeling as though poison entered her skin and she flinched.

"Are you okay?" He asks, holding her back and raising an eyebrow.

"What is that?" She looked at her finger to see blood seeping out from the tiny holes punctured in the skin.

"Just sign your finger, Amber." He said and she looked back and forth at them, not knowing if she should.

"It isn't that bad, sweety." Her mother assured and with that she nodded and pressed her finger on the paper.

Had her mother not felt the shock.'Way to embarrass yourself.'

He nodded at them, "With that, you are now permitted to enter." Hank pushed open the large door and if Amber thought the outside was stunning then the inside was far more than that.

Once the door was open it was then she could hear everyone, people laughing and talking with one another and the children playing while their parents, waiting for their rooms.

There was a large walkway of shining tiles and Chandeliers hung from the ceiling black and gold wall designs, leather chairs, and people passing with food that Amber already knew her mother was thinking about.

The way the place was designed was unique and beautiful.

"Welcome again to WW Diverse Elites. I hope you stay with us."

Amber looked at the man before looking at her mother who was beaming with excitement.

"Well, this visit ought to be interesting." Chloe said and the man smiled, "Interesting indeed." He clapped his hands together. "Should we go then?"
